OUR WORLD
Toshiro's Perspective
Toshiro sighs as he gets out of the car, streching as he does. His new shoes squeak as they land on the pavement, the tops shining in the light of street lamps. He wears these with black trousers and the blue sweater Yattamori picked out for him, along with a black dress jacket.
"Tomas, move out of the way so I can get out." Yattamori says.
Toshiro blinks and turns.
"Oh, sorry." Toshiro says as he steps to the side.
Suddenly he feels Yattamori take grasp of his shoulders. He looks over to see her jumping out of the car, using his shoulders to give herself air. She lands with a light thump right in front of him, giving him a great view of her outfit.
She wears a dark green dress with long sleeves, fitted at the top, and becoming gradually looser until they reach over her wrist, looking like kimono sleeves. The bodice has an elegant lace design dressed with glitter and clear rhinestones, a white ribbon tied tight empire style to flow into a pleated satin skirt, the same lace design dancing around the bottom around her knees, open toed black heels on her feet. Her usual cross necklace is around her neck, a ribbon choker also tied, matching her green dew-drop earrings and bow headband.
It's now that he realizes he's staring at her, and blushing, causing Yattamori to stare back at him.
"Is something wrong?" she asks.
He snaps back into reality.
"Uh, n-no, I'm perfectly fine." Toshiro answers.
"Ok, then stop gawking and follow me." Yattamori says as she pulls him between cars by the wrist.
"H-Hey!" Toshiro yells.
After a few minutes, Toshiro, Yattamori, and her family are sitting in a pew in the middle of a great big room, as he knows as a chapel. In front of him are many stained glass windows with a man, a woman, and an angel. There's an alter and an organ, people in red robes sitting up front facing the pews, while a bald man, though not old, sits in a ornamented chair behind a podium, dressed in white. Toshiro looks around the chapel. The walls have been decorated with garlands and wreaths, red, gold, green, and silver bows tied to candle posts standing beside on each side of each pew. Large red and white flowers line the walls and the balcony, more garland hanging nicely from the rafters, red balls hanging from them, reflecting the light of the overhead chandeliers that glistened in the coming and going moonlight.
As he notes the masterful wood work, a nudge breaks his gaze.
"Isn't it beautiful?" Yattamori whispers.
Toshiro turns and grins.
"I must admit, whoever did this really knows how to set a mood in a room." Toshiro says.
Yattamori giggles as the organ suddenly begins to play.
"Be quiet now you two." her Father whispers to them, only on the other side of Yattamori (Tyler luckily is on the very end).
They both nod and listen to the opening.
Soon, the pastor, who Toshiro learns from Yattamori is named Patrick, starts a monolouge about Christmas time, and how many see the holiday as a day thought up by the big chain stores.
"But, as we all know, Christmas has a meaning to it much more then the grand Christmas Tree or the presents Santa Claus brings us each Christmas Eve. Christmas, is in fact, the day of which a savior, our messiah, Jesus Christ, was born of the Virgin Mary, and started his journey to save us from our sins." Patrick says, before sitting down.
As he stands with everyone else in the room, including Yattamori, the words Patrick just said sink into Toshiro's mind.
...Christmas...is based on the birth of a...savior?...
Suddenly, voices chime in his mind, singing in perfect sync with one and other. He turns and looks at Yattamori.
Though it's hard, Toshiro tries to see if he can catch the sound of Yattamori's voice as she sings to the song.
Though, his attempt is cut short when Yattamori turns towards him.
"What?" Yattamori whispers.
"Nothing." Toshiro answers.
"Then why are you leaning so close to me?" she asks.
"I wanted to see if I could hear you sing." he answers.
Her eyes widen and she blinks in surprise, before grinning.
"Don't worry, dude, you'll get the chance." Yattamori says before turning back to face the front.
He raises an eyebrow.
...What does that mean...
The night goes on with more hymns, and more questions in Toshiro's mind about this Jesus man. Again, he turns to ask her a easy question, to see her missing.
Her Father notices his puzzledness.
"Looking for Madison, Tomas?" her Father asks.
Toshiro looks up and nods.
"Yes, where did she go?" he asks.
Her Father grins.
"Look up front." her Father says.
Toshiro feels confused, but does as told.
When he turns, his eyes widen as he sees Yattamori standing up front, a microphone in her hand.
"What the...?" Toshiro trails.
"She must of wanted to surprise you." her Father says.
Toshiro turns towards him.
"What?" he asks.
"You see, Madison was asked to do this solo song in early November. She's been practicing for it all since then." her Father explains.
Toshiro looks back up at her.
"...I'm going to get you the best present ever, I promise..."
Yattamori's voice runs through his head.
"Yattamori..." he whispers, quiet enough that Yattamori's Father doesn't hear.
"Hello, and once again, thank you for being here tonight." Yattamori says into the mic, "Most of you, are usuals to this church, but I know that's there's a few out there that have never been here before, so I'd just like to welcome you all here. So, without further ado, I'm going to now sing "Oh Holy Night"."
Suddenly, a strong, but beautiful melody of a piano starts, stating note after wonderful note of grace as Yattamori breaths calmly, lifting the mic to her mouth.
"Oh, Holy Night,
The stars are brightly shin-ing,
It is the night,
Of our dear savior's birth,

Long lay the world,
In sin and error pin-ing,
Til he appeared,
And the Soul felt his worth..."

Toshiro's eyes widen as Yattamori's clear and nostalgic voice rings through his ears. Flashbacks of Yattamori singing to him and others when they were little replay themselves at once as her voice reaches each note with strength and assurance.

"A thrill of hope,
The weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks,
A new and glorious morn',

Fa-ll on your knees,
Oh hear the angel voices,
Oh ni-ight, div-ine,
Oh night, when Christ was born,

Oh night,
Oh ni-ight!
O-Oh night,
Oh night divine..."

The chorus spells a type of silent ah through the room, keeping everyone's attention on every word that Yattamori allows to cross her lips in her quite angelic voice.

"Truly He taught us,
To love one another,
His law is Love,
And his gospel is Peace,

Chains shall he break,
For the slave is our Brother,
And in his name,
All opression shall cease,

Sweet hymns of joy,
In grateful chorus raise we,
Let all within us,
Prasie His holy Name..."

Toshiro grins, feeling that her strong chorus is about to be resung. But, as he watches, the choir in the back begins to stand, confussing him.
"They're gonna back her up." her Father whispers to him.
His eyes widen.
...They're backing HER up?!...

"Fa-ll on your knees,
O hear, the angel voi-ces,
Oh ni-ight, di-vine,
Oh night, when Christ was born,

(Oh holy night: Choir)

Oh ni-ight,
DI-VINE!

Toshiro eyes widen even larger then before as Yattamori hits the highest note in the song, completing it perfectly as she holds it tough and loud.
She's still amazing.

"Oh night,
Oh night div-ine.."

(Oh night div-ine: Choir)

After holding the note long, they fall silent for a moment.

"Oh..night di-vine..."

A short melody, followed by a chord ends the piece, and the people around him just can't contain themselves any longer, jumping off their seats, shouting and clapping for Yattamori's magnificent performance.
She curtsies politly, before walking back down the middle aile, stopping right in front of him.
She grins.
"Did you like it?" she asks.
He chuckles.
"How could I not? You were excellent." Toshiro compliments.
Red comes to her cheeks as he lets her past him.
"I'm glad you liked the first part of your present." Yattamori coments as she sits.
His eyes widen as he looks down at her, to see her grinning up at him.
The urge takes over as he sits, and he smiles.
He continues to grin the rest of the night, even in his sleep, enjoying his first Christmas so far...

OUR WORLD
Madison's Perspective
Madison yawns as he walks out of her room, her sister pulling hard on her arm as she leads her to the tree in the living.
"C'mon Madison, our presents are waiting!" Abigail says, tugging on Madison's shirt sleeve.
"Shouldn't I wake up Tomas...?" Madison yawns, glad she remembered to call Toshiro by his fake name.
Abigail groans, but releases Madison's arm.
"Oh, alright, but be quick, I want to see what Santa got me!" Abigail says as she runs back towards the living room.
Madison grins as she turns towards the stairs that lead to the basement, loving that her little sister still believes in Santa, though she had already been exposed to the scheam, though she really no longer cared. Madison turns towards the window, smiling as she sees fresh fallen and still falling snow casting a white blanket over her yard, making it a beautiful White Christmas. She steps silently on the carpeted stairs, looking into the den as she approaches, and begins to chuckle as she lays her eyes on Toshiro.
He's contorted in the sheets, his right foot exposed and a bit of his left barely shadowed by the covers. She scratches her head, thinking of a way to wake him up.
She smiles as an idea comes to mind.
"Hey, Toshiro!" Madison yells as she jumps, landing stomach first on Toshiro.
His eyes pop open instantly with impact, scared to death by Madison's Christmas assalt.
"Ya-Yattamori!" He yells, irritated by Madison's actions.
"Sorry, didn't mean to do that much damage." Madison apologizes as she rolls off of him.
"Oh course you didn't, why'd you do that anyway?" he asks.
She smiles, taking his wrist.
"Why do you think? It's Christmas!" Madison says as she pulls him from the covers.
He wears dark blue sweat pants with a gray short sleeved tee shirt, perfect for opening presents. She rushes up the stairs, Toshiro stumbling behind.
She immediately drops him in the living room on a large couch.
"Happy, I hurried." Madison says as she looks towards her family.
Abigail laughs.
"Uh, Tomas still has bedhead." Abigail comments, pointing at Toshiro.
Madison blinks and looks back over, and groans as she sees Abigail is right.
"Oh my god Tomas." Madison says as she fixes his hair.
"Ma-Madison!" Toshiro yells, "What are you doing?"
"What does it look like? I'm fixing your hair."
"Ugh."
"Alright, Alright you two, calm down. It's Christmas, don't go getting into a stupid argument." her Mom says as she gives Madison a present, "Here, this is one you got from Santa."
"Hmm?" Madison says as takes it.
It's small, but heavy.
She quickly unwraps it, and smiles brightly.
"An Ipod Touch!" Madison yells, happy as can be.
Her mom and dad grin.
One, by one, gifts are opened, revealing new movies along with art supplies, and other stuff. As she looks around, she sees a bunch of presents still under the tree, which surprises her.
She pokes at her mom.
"Hey, whose are those?" Madison asks.
Her mom grins.
"Santa left them, go see who they're for." her dad says.
"Ok." she answers as she gets up from Toshiro's side.
She paces over and quickly reads the labels, her eyes widening.
"Who are they for?" Toshiro asks.
Madison smiles, taking one of the presents and walking back over to where she had been, sitting beside Toshiro.
"Well?" Toshiro ask.
She hands it to him.
"It's for you." Madison answers, "From Santa."
Toshiro eyes widen wide.
"What?" Toshiro says as he takes it.
"Don't sit there gawking, you've got six others waiting for you." Madison says as she points back at the pile.
His eyes widen even more.
"They're all for me?" Toshiro asks.
She nods.
"Yepe." Madsion answers as she smiles.
He stares at her for a moment, before he pulls her into a hug, taking her by surprise.
"Uh, Tos-Tomas." Madison starts.
"Thank you.." Toshiro whispers.
Her eyes widen.
"Really...Thank you..." Toshiro repeats.
She grins and hugs him back.
"Your welcome." Madison says as she pulls away, smiling, "Merry Christmas!"
He smiles.
"Merry Christmas." Toshiro says as Madison begins to open his present, quickly taken out by Toshiro's bigger hands.
About a half hour passes before Toshiro opens all his presents: A Sherlock Holmes book, shoes he had been looking at the last time they went shopping with her friends, a fitted black leather jacket, a $20 gift card to the restraunt he and Madison like, Olive Garden (they went the first weekend of break, to celebrate his birthday), an Ipod Touch of his own (loaded with songs Madison picked out), and a package of watermelon flavored lifesavers (he loves watermelon).
"Thank you, all of you, really." Toshiro says.
Suddenly, Madison places another gift in his hand, surprising him, and even her family.
"Honey, what's that?" her mom asks.
"Don't worry mom, I paid for it." Madison says, before turning back to face him, "This one is only from me, and is the last part of your present."
He takes and tugs the string bow off, ripping the wrapping paper off. He opens the box, stopping as he lays his eyes on the gift, smiling.
"You like it?" Madison asks.
He chuckles as he lifts it out of the box.
A new phone, connected to a chain with a blue diamond shaped charm hanging next to it.
Her family gasps.
"Of course, it's awesome." Toshiro says as he looks at it.
"You connect it to your jeans or other pants so it's always close by, I thought it fit you." Madison says, before leaning closer, whispering, "I also put in a special chip that allows you to use it in the Soul Society, and even call me if you're there and I'm here. I already put mine, and Cree's number in it, so if anything comes up, you can contact either of us."
Toshiro stares at her and phone for a moment, not believing that she did this for him.
Suddenly, he pulls her into an even bigger hug then before.
"Thanks." Toshiro says.
Madison grins.
"You're welcome." Madison answers, smiling.
"Alright you two, go get changed, family will be here in two hours." her mom says as she stands.
Toshiro and Madison nod.
"Ok." Toshiro and Madison answer at the same time, getting up and walking towards Madison's room.
As they walk, Toshiro spots something.
"Hey, what's that hanging from the ceiling?" Toshiro asks.
Madison looks up at the greenery hanging from a red ribbon in front of the patio door.
"Oh, it's mistletoe." Madison answers.
"Why is it hanging from the ceiling?" he asks as they enter her room.
"Well, it's tradition that if a boy and girl stand under the mistletoe, they kiss, but if one refuses, they won't get another kiss for a month. That's at least what superstition says, that is." Madison explains as she looks through a bag.
"Oh..." Toshiro answers, thinking of Madison's present..
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
9:39 p.m.
Toshiro and Madison laugh as Elice, Madison's cousin, rips at her present, smiling as she spots the pink barbie.
"Oh, how cute." Madison says as she picks up another present, "This is for you Grammy."
Her grandmother smiles as she hands her the gift.
"Hey, Madison." her Aunt Amanda asks.
"Yeah?" Madison answers.
"I know that I've been rude for not asking, but who is the young man right next to you?" she asks as she points at Toshiro, who's sitting right beside her.
"Oh, I'm Tomas, a friend of Madison's." Toshiro says as he smiles.
"Nice to meet you. So, are you and Madison in the same class?" Aunt Amanda asks.
Toshiro nods.
"Yepe, we have all the same classes."
Aunt Amanda's eyes widens.
"Really? That's unusual."
"Yeah, it was a complete surprise to both of us." Madison interjects, wanting to finish the conversation before anyone got suspicious, "Grammy, what did you get."
"A new green sweater." Grammy answers as she holds it up.
Madison grins.
"Great." she comments.
"Hey, Madison, there's one for you." Toshiro says as he hands her a small, but masterly wrapped gift.
She blinks.
...I thought I opened all my presents...
She tediously works the bow off, then rips at the paper without mercy, smiling as she does.
She carefully opens the box and gasps.
Inside is silver pendant, an arrow carved into the metal, inlayed in and with opal. She turns it on the back, a cursive "Y" marked there.
Her eyes widen.
...Y...for 'Yattamori'...
She looks up at him.
"Where did you find this?" Madison asks.
Toshiro grins.
"I saw you looking at it with your friends a few days back." Toshiro explains.
"You mean you got it for her?" Aunt Estella asks.
Toshiro nods.
"Yepe." Toshiro answers.
"But this is real opal." Madison says.
He shrugs.
"It's alright." Toshiro answers.
Her dad's eyes widen.
"You bought her a real opal?" her dad asks.
"It's fine, really. I just wanted to get you a nice present is all." Toshiro reassures her.
She stares at him for a moment, before tackling him with a hug.
"Thank you!" she laughs.
"Y-Your welcome." Toshiro stutters, blushing slightly.
After an hour, all eight of the young kids (yes, she has eight cousins) are packed into cars, leaving only her grandparents, her Aunt Aubrey and her Uncle Jordan with her family and Toshiro.
She smiles as she stands outside, a fire in the outside pit burning beside her, keeping her warm around all the white world.
"Hey, why are you standing out here?" Toshiro voice calls as he walks out next to her.
"I wanted to get a good look of all the snow. We'll have to go out tomorrow." Madison says as she looks out on the world.
He grins.
"Yeah.." he agrees.
"Have you enjoyed your first Christmas?" she asks.
"It's been amazing." Toshiro answers, "Thanks for showing me your holiday."
She laughs.
"Your welcome, and thank you for this beautiful necklace." Madison says as she plays with the circle charm around her neck.
"I thought you would like it. It reminded me of the the necklace that you wear in the Soul Society, the one I gave you. I thought it fit well." Toshiro says.
Her eyes widen as she looks over the pendant.
...This does look a lot like my other necklace, the only difference is that it's silver, not lime green...
"Thanks." Madison says.
Her arm brushes his hand.
"Ack! Man, you're cold." Toshiro says.
"I am? Hmm, I don't feel cold." Madison says, not noticing cause of her usual barrier of warmth.
"C'mon, let's get inside before you catch a cold." Toshiro says as he begins to walk towards the patio door.
"Fine." Madison groans funny-like, following Toshiro.
As she approaches the door, a piece of wood covered by snow comes over Madison's foot, causing her to trip.
"Ack!" Madison grunts as she sees the ground rushing towards her.
Suddenly, she's caught by Toshiro, about a foot from hitting the ground.
She looks up, clutching his jacket as he helps her up.
"S-Sorry. I didn't mean to-" Madison starts.
Without warning, Toshiro kisses her forehead, causing her to shut up immediately.
When his lips leave her skin, she looks up at him, blushing and a little confused.
"Wh-Why-"
"Mistletoe." Toshiro says as he points up.
She looks up to see he's right, they're standing right underneath it, it swinging as he shuts the sliding door behind them. Madison looks around, happy to see no one saw the little moment that had just happened. Though as she thinks on, a thought pops into her mind.
...Did he want to kiss me?...

Death and Reincarnation (Madison Shecker's Story) pt. 49 pt. 1

"...Tis the season to be jolly! YAY, it's Christmas time! Man, I love Christmas. The tree, the presents, the food. It's all so amazing that it's no wonder kids all over the world wait for it each year. Well, most kids that is. Why is it that Toshiro always finds some way to dampen the mood of a happy occassion? I will never be able to understand how he does it. Well, at the same time, I can understand it, seeing as how not many Christians like myself live in Japan. Though considering that the Soul Society is made up of people from all over the world, you would think that I wouldn't be the only one who celebrates Christmas in this world for some reason. But, oh well, right now I have one thing to concentrate on: Giving Toshiro the best first Christmas he'll ever have...hopefully..."

OUR WORLD
The Mall
Madison's Perspective
Madison laughs as she, Cree, Virginia, and Toshiro (Tomas to Virginia) walk through the mall, laughing at a story Cree tells about a Santa run-in.
"God, you should of been looking to see that no one was in front of you, Cree." Madison comments.
"It's not my fault that the dude stopped suddenly right in front of me, it was his fault." Cree argues.
"Alright, alright, whatever you say Cree." Virginia says, before pointing at something in a nearby store window, "Hey Madison, isn't that the pair of slippers your mom want?"
"Yeah, does it say how much they are?" Madison asks as she walks closer to the window.
"Um, $12.83." Toshiro answers.
"I think I have enough. C'mon guys, I'm getting them." Madison says as she walks into the store.
After a few minutes, Madison finds herself at a register line, holding a pair of the same slippers in the window. She looks over to see Cree and Virginia in a random conversation, and Toshiro just looking around, letting his eyes wander around the many decorations for Christmas time.
"Hey, Yatta...I mean, Madison." Toshiro says.
"Yeah?" Madison answers.
"Who's Santa?" Toshiro asks.
His question causes Cree and Virginia to stop talking and for Madison eyes to widen dramatically.
"Who's Santa? You're kidding right?" Madison asks.
Toshiro doesn't answer.
"You know, Santa Clause? Comes into your house through the chimney and leaves presents on Christmas Eve? Ring a bell?" Virginia asks.
Toshiro shakes his head.
"Nope, and what exactly is Christmas?" Toshiro asks, causing them all to gasp, "I mean, I have heard of it, but I've never experienced it."
"How can you not experience Christmas?! It's impossible!" Cree yells.
"Cree...be quiet. Remember, Toshi...I mean, Tomas, has lived in Japan for most of his childhood, so he probably never celebrated it." Madison explains.
"How does that change anything?" Virginia asks.
"In Japan, most of the population are Buddists, and only a slim amount are Christian." Madison answers.
"Oh." Cree and Virginia say.
Madison turns towards Toshiro.
"So, you've never experienced Christmas?" Madison asks.
"No, not once." Toshiro answers.
Madison sighs, then smiles.
"Alright, it's official, we're making this your best first Christmas ever!" Madison says, smiling bright.
Toshiro blinks.
"What?" Toshiro asks.
"You're going to come to my house, and I'm going to show you everything that's amazing about Christmas." Madison answers as she hands the lady the slippers.
"But-" Toshiro starts.
"But nothing, you're going to enjoy yourself, and I will make sure I get you the perfect present." Madison interupts as she gives the lady the money.
"A present?" Toshiro asks.
"A present. It's a tradition during Christmas to give presents to friends and family, as a way of saying I love you or you mean a lot to me." Cree explains.
"It's pretty simple to understand." Virginia comments.
"Yes, very." Madison agrees as she thanks the lady and walks off from the counter, followed by the others.
"Alright." Toshiro says with a sigh.
------------
3 hours later
Madison's House
Madison breaths deeply as she walks into the family room, where her mom and dad sit, decorating the room with gold garlands. Her mom turns when she hears her nearing footsteps, and smiles.
"Hi, Honey." her mom says as she picks up another long strand of the garland.
"Hey Mom." Madison answers.
"Whatcha doing, Madison?" her dad asks.
"Nothing, just wanted to ask something."
"Oh? And what's that?" her mom asks.
"Well, uh..." Madison starts, "I wanted to know if I could have a friend come join us...on Christmas..."
Her mom and dad look up at her, surprised by her question.
"Why?" her dad asks.
"Well, you see, their parents are out of town, and won't be back 'til the 27th, so I thought that maybe we should invite them to join us." Madison explains, "I mean, it's not like we won't have enough room or food. And I already bought them a present, so we wouldn't have to worry about it-"
"Madison." her dad interupts, "Who's your friend?"
"Uh...Tomas." Madison answers.
Her dad raises an eyebrow.
"A boy?" he asks.
"I know it's strange, but I really don't want him to be alone on Christmas." Madison says.
Her dad looks down in thought for a moment, before looking over at her mom, who does some gesture, causing her dad to sigh.
"Alright, he can spend the day with us, and considering that his parents aren't home..if he wants, he can come over tomorrow and spend the night, even come to the night service. How does that sound?" her dad answers.
Madison's face immediately lights up.
"Yes, Yes! That's awesome! Thanks Mom, Dad!" Madison yells as she hugs them both, happy as can be.
"Your welcome. But remember, since he's a boy, no funny buisness." her mom says.
Madison's cheeks begin to turn red.
"Wha-?!" Madison starts.
"Yeah, no sneaking off." her dad agrees, laughing slightly.
"I don't like him like that!" Madison yells as she runs off to her room, shutting the door.
"Ugh." Madison groans.
"Who don't you like like that?" Toshiro's asks from her bed.
Madison jumps, not expecting Toshiro to respond, or even be in her room.
"T-Toshiro?! W-W, H-How did you get into my house? My room?!" Madison asks, still trying to catch her breath.
"I used kido to make myself invisible, and I came in with your brother when he entered the house." Toshiro answers, "Though, I think he sensed my pressence."
"That's not the problem. But, oh, guess what." Madison asks as she walks over and sits beside him.
"What?" Toshiro asks.
"Tomorrow, my parents said you can come and spend the night, come to service with us, and even spend Christmas with us. Isn't that great?!" Madison confesses, smiling brightly.
Toshiro grins.
"Seriously?" he asks.
Madison nods.
"Yepe, and you don't have to sneak in. You can show yourself to everyone." Madison adds.
"Alright, that works." Toshiro agrees.
"Yay!" Madison says as she jumps off the bed.
With all of this great stuff happening, only one thing is left to do...
Find Toshiro the perfect present.

Toshiro's Perspective
Toshiro gulps as he knocks on the familiar door of Yattamori's house, not use to it. Soon, footsteps are heard from the other side, until it opens. On the other side of the screen door is Yattamori's older brother, Tyler. He's at least 6 foot tall, and wears a under-armor tee with jeans, only in his socks, but still towering and somewhat intimidating. Like Yattamori has said, he's in perfect physical condition, showing that he truly is a jock. His dirty blonde/light brown hair reminds is cut is a popular fashion, and his blue eyes cause him to stand out from the rest of his family, though the cut of his jaw and other physical traits kinda resemble those of Yattamori's.
"Hello? Can I help you?" Tyler asks, his voice deep like most guys his age.
"Uh, Is Yatta-, I mean, Madison here?" he asks.
Tyler's eyes shrink slightly.
"Why do you want Madison?" he asks.
"Um, she told me to meet her here." Toshiro answers, "Oh, I'm Tomas, by the way."
"Tyler." Tyler answers.
"Alright then." Toshiro answers.
"Tyler? Who's at the door?" Yattamori's voice yells from the background.
"Yattamori?" Toshiro yells back at her.
"Oh, Tomas is here?" Yattamori says, seeming to get closer.
"Yeah." Tyler says as he moves slightly, so Yattamori can see him.
Yattamori is wearing a red 80's tee matched with black skinny jeans, tan boots on her feet. Around her waist is a loose belt, imbellished with silver and gold studs, her earrings and and head accesories, her usual cross necklace strung around her neck.
"Sorry, I was downstairs. I'm just going to go get my bag and jacket 'kay?" Yattamori says.
"Uh, ok." Toshiro answers.
Yattamori grins.
"Kay, be right back." Yattamori says as she disappears.
Toshiro and Tyler stand awkwardly as Tyler kinda stares him down.
"So you're this Tomas guy I've been hearing about?" Tyler asks.
"I guess." Toshiro answers.
"Well, be careful with her." Tyler says, a warning tone to his voice.
"Uh-" Toshiro starts.
"Ready!" Yattamori says as she bursts back into the doorway, "Bye Mom, Dad, we'll be back in a little bit."
She grabs Toshiro's arm.
"C'mon idiot." Yattamori calls.
"Ya-Yattamori?!" Toshiro yells after her as she pulls him along.
"See you later Tyler." Yattamori calls over her shoulder.
"See ya." Tyler calls back as he shuts the door.
"He's intimidating." Toshiro comments.
"You think he's intimidating? You, of all people?" Yattamori asks.
"Never mind." Toshiro says.
"Well, alright then."
Suddenly, Yattamori flashsteps, jumping through the air from tree to tree.
"Yattamori?! What are you doing?!" Toshiro asks.
"What?" Yattamori asks, "This is the fastest way to get to the Old Navy."
"But we're in plain sight!-"
"No we're not, I made us invisible."
Toshiro looks away.
"Oh." Toshiro comments, before letting go of Yattamori, "I'm at least flashstepping on my own."
Yattamori chuckles.
"Alright."
Within minutes, they find themselves walking into the Old Navy outlet, many people walking through the store. Without knowledge, Yattamori takes his arm and leads him to the boys section.
"Why are we here?" Toshiro asks.
"To find you something to wear for the Christmas Service tonight." Yattamori says as she looks at a rack of black dress pants, "What size pants do you wear?"
"Uh, I don't know." Toshiro answers.
Yattamori groans, then picks out a random pant.
"Here, try these." Yattamori says as she walks over to dress shirt section.
"Why do I have to dress up for this?"
"Because, it's a formal occasion." Yattamori explains as she pulls out a blue sweater, a single white stripe running along the top, "This looks like something you would wear. Take it."
Toshiro takes it from her and sighs.
"This is confusing. Besides, I don't even know what to get you." Toshiro says.
Yattamori stops in mid search, then turns towards him.
"What?" she asks.
"Well, I don't really know what you want, so I don't know what to get you for Christmas."
Yattamori stares at him for a moment, before grinning.
"You idiot, you don't have to get me anything." Yattamori says.
"But I thought you had to."
"No, that's just what Cree said."
"Oh."
"Now, go try on this outfit." Yattamori says as she pushes him towards the dressing room.
"Alright." Toshiro answers.
After what feels like hours of trying on clothes, they finally decide on three outfits, so that he can decide on which he wants to wear later. Now, they're in the store next door, Books A Million (weird name), where Toshiro finds himself as Yattamori looks for a certain Manga in the manga section.
"What are you looking for?" Toshiro asks.
"I'm looking for something." Yattamori answers as she pulls out a manga.
"Ugh.." Toshiro groans.
"Found it!" Yattamori says as she pulls out a manga.
"What is it?" Toshiro asks.
"N-Nothing." Yattamori says.
"C'mon, show me." Toshiro asks.
Yattamori stares at him for a moment, before sighing.
"Fine, just...just don't freak out..." Yattamori says.
Toshiro raises and eyebrow.
"Al..right." Toshiro says.
She sighs again, and hands him the manga on the back, though the name 'BLEACH' strikes him strangely. And, the picture on the back takes him by surprise, the people familiar somehow.
"Turn it over." Yattamori says.
Toshiro sighs, and does as told, turning it over.
He gasps.
It's a drawn picture of himself.
"H-How.." Toshiro starts.
"I told you that I discovered the past because I saw you in the anime, remember?" Yattamori says.
"Yeah, but I didn't actually think that I was.." Toshiro trails off.
"It gets weirder." Yattamori says as she opens the manga to be on one of the first pages.
It's the page listing the characters of the manga. The first few are people he's never heard of, confusing him, but some are too familiar.
"Is that Momo?!" Toshiro asks.
Yattamori nods.
"And look." Yattamori says as she points at yet another picture of him, "They even used your real name."
"That says Toshiro Hitsugaya all right." Toshiro says, "I still don't know how the man who did this knew all about the Soul Society."
"I guess his mind was somehow linked to the Soul Society while he was creating it." Yattamori guesses.
"I suppose, but I still don't see how it's possible."
"Well, that's not important right now. Now go." Yattamori says as she pushes Toshiro towards the door.
---------
4 hours later
Yattamori's Car
Toshiro sighs as he looks out the window. Though a hard nudge brings him out of his daze.
"Wha-What?" Toshiro asks.
"Don't fall asleep stupid." Yattamori says.
"Madison, don't call people stupid." her father says.
"Yes Dad." Yattamori answers.
"So, Tomas is it?" her mom asks.
"That's right." Toshiro answers, lying.
"And how long have you known Madison?" her father asks.
"Uh, wow, well, it feels like a century." Toshiro answers.
Yattamori chuckles, getting the underlying truth in the joke.
"And, you both go to the same school?" her dad asks.
"That is correct." Toshiro answers.
"Are you dating Madison?" Yattamori's little sister asks.
"Abigail!" Yattamori yells, though dark, she's blushing.
Toshiro tries his best to look over her. Abigail is about seven inches shorter then Yattamori, and seems to have a unique personality. Her dark brown is to about the middle of her back, a little longer then Yattamori's at the moment, though she's technically Shecker. Her brown eyes are deep, and very large. And, from her expression compared to their mom, Abigail looks exactly like her mom, but only showing some resemblence to Yattamori and Tyler.
"No, sorry. We're just good friends." Toshiro answers.
"Abigail." Tyler says.
"Yeah?-" Abigail starts.
"-Be quiet." Tyler interupts.
"Hey, you can't tell me what to do-" Abigail starts again.
"-I'm older." Tyler interupts again.
"That doesn't make a difference!" Abigail yells.
"Yes it does." Tyler says.
"No it doesn't!" Abigail yells.
"Don't you just love my siblings?" Yattamori asks.
Toshiro chuckles.
"Yes, very entertaining." Toshiro whispers.
After a few minutes of watching, they find themselves in the parking lot of a large church.
"All right, let's get this over with." Toshiro says as he opens the door, not knowing what would happening next.

Death and Reincarnation (Madison Shecker's Story) pt. 48

"...Finally! We're back in the other world, away from the Soul Society and it's madness. Though I had to bring my Mahinahime case work with me (have to work off the job, ugh), I must say that my life seems to be winding down a bit. But as I say that, it appears that my friends are just beginning to experience half of what I have in my life. With every second, Cree seems to become more on edge as she discovers more and more about Virginia, and Bianca, and all the others that we know. She thinks they have abilities like us, but I have my doubts, especially about Virginia and Kayla. Not to be mean, but I must say I can't see either of them carrying around a zampakutou or wielding powers. Ugh..."

OUR WORLD
Cree's Perspective
Cree smiles as she walks down the alley to Bev's, her meeting spot with Madison and Toshiro today.
"Can't believe it's five days til Christmas, seems that time is going too fast." Cree comments as she walks out of the alley way.
Soon, she finds herself walking into the familiar country restraunt, many types of trinkets and favors hanging around the space.
"Cree!" Madison's voice calls.
Cree turns towards the voice to see Madison and Tomas-uh, Toshiro, sitting in their usual spot in the corner. Cree grins and walks over, happy to see them.
"Hey guys." Cree says as she sits beside Madison.
"Hi." Madison responds.
"Hello." Toshiro says.
"What's the topic today?" Cree asks.
"Well, we wanted to know if you wanted to stay behind tonight." Madison answers.
Cree's eyes widen in surprise.
"Why?" Cree asks.
"You know, so you can get a little rest. You've been working yourself hard in training with Hebi Denkou, I suggest that you take a few days to regain lost energy." Madison explains.
"I even took the priviledge to ask the Head Captain to reschedule his meeting with you over your arrangements, so please, take the opportunity to relax." Toshiro comments.
Cree looks down, thinking.
"Alright, but I want you to fill me in on everything juicy that happened." Cree answers.
Madison chuckles.
"Alright Cree, but don't get too excited." Madison says, grinning.
Cree smiles, before it fades, which both Madison and Toshiro notice.
"Something wrong Cree?" Madison asks.
Cree looks back up at her, and sighs.
"I think we've got an issue." Cree admits.
Toshiro and Madison blink in surprise.
"An issue? What kind?" Toshiro asks.
"Well, earlier today, I went someplace with Gin and Bianca." Cree starts.
"And..?" Madison asks.
"Well..." Cree trails...

December 20, 2011
11:39 a.m.

Cree, Virginia, and Bianca walk through a store, looking around as they carry on.
"I can't believe we spent our money on those masks." Cree says, looking down at her bag.
"They're cute-" Bianca starts.
"Ther're masquerade masks, and they cost 20 bucks!" Cree interupts.
"Hey, we're thinking ahead for next year's Halloween Party!" Virginia says, "Besides, they were too gorgeous to just pass by."
"What I don't know is how you talked me into buying one." Cree says.
"We're experts, don't question us." Bianca says, laughing.
Virgina chuckles.
"Hey, let's go get something to eat!" Virginia suggests.
Cree seems to lighten up.
"That does sound nice." Cree comments.
"But do we have enough?" Bianca asks.
"I bet if we put all of our money together, it will!" Virginia answers.
Cree and Bianca grin.
"Alright, let's go!" Cree says as she begins to walk ahead, looking back at them.
"W-Wait, Cree!-" Virginia starts.
Suddenly, Cree runs into something, something warm. She squeezes her eyes shut.
...Crap!...I just bumped into someone I don't know!...
"I-I-I'm so sorry, excuse me!" Cree says as she takes a step back.
The person turns towards her, and meets her glance. His grey eyes cause her to freeze, her fear unknown to her. He wears a long tan trenchcoat, a red sweater matched jeans underneath. His hair is black, and shaggy, though well kept. His lips curl at the end and his cheek bones are overly pronounce, making him even more daunting.
"Sorry for not seeing you Cree, I would of moved out of the way." the man answers, his lips curling into a grin.
Cree's eyes widen.
"Do I know you?" Cree asks.
The man chuckles.
"I do time, Cree." the man says, resting his hand on Cree's shoulder, smirking as he notices her trembling.
"Hey dude, how do you know Cree?" Bianca asks, seeming to get protective.
His shifty eyes turn towards Bianca, causing her to shrink away.
"You three will be the most amusing..." he starts before moving his hand from Cree's shoulder to Virginia's cheek, "Especially you, my dear..."
"M-M-Me...?" Virginia stutters, too scared to move away.
"Yes, and be sure that you use all your strength against her, she'll be a hard one." he says as he removes his hand, chills running down Virginia's spine as he begins to walk off.
"Her? who's "Her"? And what do you mean by what you said?" Virginia asks.
He stops and smirks, turning back towards them.
"Why, I mean her with the eyes that shine like blue flame as her power insues..." he answers...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Present.
"What!? That's unbelievable!" Madison comments.
"I'm sorry to say it's all true. It's still makes my skin crawl." Cree says.
"Eyes that shine like blue flame..." Toshiro trails.
Madison notices.
"What is it, Toshiro?" Madison asks.
"That description, I've heard it before." Toshiro answers.
Both Cree's and Madison's eyes widen.
"Really? Who's it about?!" Cree asks.
"It's how the Royal Family said we'd be able to pick out Mahinahime." Toshiro answers, "Her eyes are said to be the color of blue flame, which intensify when she's brought to fury."
"Oh yeah, that's right. But, do you really think he's talking about Mahinahime?" Madison asks.
"Who's Mahinahime?" Cree asks.
Toshiro and Madison turn towards her.
"Oh yeah, we didn't tell you about her, did we?" Madison says.
"No, who is she?" Cree repeats.
"Mahinahime is the first daughter of the King and Queen of the Soul Society. She's actually supposed to be the ruler as of now, but unfortunately she went missing about 140 years ago." Toshiro explains, "Though some believe that she's still alive, most think, including Yattamori and myself, that she was probably killed or died of illness soon after going missing."
"Oh, I see.." Cree trails.
"But for now we need to remain on the subject of this strange man. Were you able to find any identification?" Toshiro asks.
Cree shakes her head.
"Unfortunately, I was too stunned by the situation that I didn't think to look." Cree admits, "I'm sorry."
"It's alright, what's most important that you weren't injured or forced to pull out Hebi Denkou." Madison reassures her, smiling.
Cree grins, but it fades as another thought passes through her head.
Madison notices.
"Now what's wrong?" Madison asks, slightly irritated.
"Well, there's two other things." Cree answers.
"And what are they?" Toshiro asks.
"Well, after the man disappeared, I went over to ask Virginia if she was okay, and when I touch her hand, I saw something." Cree admits.
Madison gasps.
"You had a vision?!" Madison says.
"I guess. But anyway, I saw Virginia and Bianca, and well..." Cree trails.
"What?" Toshiro asks.
"I saw them both with zampakutous." Cree answers, "And they were wearing Soul Reaper uniforms."
Toshiro's and Madison's eyes widen.
"Are you serious?!" Madison yells.
Toshiro covers her mouth.
"Yattamori, be quiet! There's other people in here!" Toshiro whispers.
Madison forces his hand off her mouth.
"Well excuse me! It's not everyday you hear that more of your friends might have Soul Reaper powers!" Madison says, before turning back towards Cree, "Cree, are you sure that's what you saw?"
Cree nods.
"Positive." Cree answers.
Madison groans and puts her hand on her forehead.
"What are we going to do?" Madison asks, "If they do have powers, our situation will just become harder to handle. Not to mention if we do nothing, they'll be at a higher risk at being attacked by Hollows or who knows what else."
"Why don't we just bring them to the Soul Society?" Cree asks.
"It's not that simple Cree." Madison answers, "The senkaimon connecting this world and the world of the Soul Society hasn't been exactly been looked through. Considering that to our knowledge it just opened, we don't know exactly how many can pass through the senkaimon at one time. For all we know, three is the max that can travel through it at a time. Until we know more, we can't put them at risk. And on top of that, I don't believe just throwing them into the situation is the best idea."
Cree grunts.
"Then what's your idea?" Cree asks.
"I say that for the time being that we monitor them, and if anything happens, we act then." Madison answers, letting Yattamori within shine out.
Toshiro nods.
"That sounds resonable with the circumstances." Toshiro agrees.
Cree nods.
"Alright." Cree answers.
Madison sits back in her chair.
"Oh, what was the other thing you wanted to say?" Madison asks.
Cree sinks slightly.
"What?" Madison asks.
"The man description...brought someone other then Mahinahime to my mind." Cree admits.
"Who?" Toshiro asks, surprised.
Cree turns towards Madison.
"You." Cree says to Madison.
Madison's eyes widen larger then before.
"M-Me...? Why?" Madison asks.
"Because when he added to it "as her power insues", I remembered that everytime you've released part of your power before, your eyes began to glow light blue, like...blue flame." Cree explains.
Madison looks away and doesn't respond for a few moments, probably trying to get her words to sink in. Cree touches her shoulder, grabbing Madison's attention from her own thoughts.
"Don't worry, everything will be fine. Trust me." Cree reassures her, grinning.
Madison stares at her for a momemt, before seeming to relax and grins.
"Thanks." Madison thanks as she grins, before turning towards Toshiro, starting a new conversation.
Cree grins for a moment, before looking away, remembering something else.
Something that of which she didn't want to tell. The rest of what the man said to her and the others...
"...And what I mean will be met with blood..."

SOUL SOCIETY
Somewhere Outside the Sereitei

"...So, what should be our next next take at action?" a mans voice says in the shadows.
"Nothing over dramatic, we wouldn't want to make anyone higher up suspiscous of us..." A woman's voice answers, the sileoutte of a being sitting in a chair barely lit.
A girl chuckles.
"Why can't use my powers to just make her stab herself in the chest? Or even better, stab the boy?" the girl asks in a high voice.
"Because I believe that she would be able to will herself out of your control, like last time." the woman answers.
The girl grunts.
"But be assured, I have a good idea of how we'll trap her." the woman says, "We'll just need to wait a little longer."
"For what, My Lady?" the man asks.
She smirks.
"For our perfect puppet." she answers.
Suddenly, a loud door at the end of the hall opens, revealing a man shadowed by the darkness.
"Ah, you've returned. How was your visit to our target's other world?" the woman asks.
"It was fascinating, that world seems so different, but the same at the same time." the man answers.
The woman grins.
"Did you find a puppt?" she asks.
"That I did." the man answers.
"Good, just wonderful..." the woman comments, "I'm glad that you're happy that you're staying with us."
"Of course, My Lady, besides I have some unfinished buisness with our target." the man answers.
"I know. Which is why you were such a great canidate to join our association." the woman says, "Our Association of Enkou..."

Death and Reincarnation (Madison Shecker's Story) pt. 47

"...I can't believe I let this happen! With my Devena secret now out in the open, I bet Cree will barely talked to me after this. How did she get out anyway? It's not like I had under a lot of stress or severely injured. And, even if I had been, that probably would of  not done anything to cause Devena to surface. So, not only did Devena surface and Cree discovered the darkness that I guess you say lives inside me, sounds cheesy enough, but now I have to figure out how she even got out in the first place! God, almighty, why on Earth did you have to go and make my life so complicated? Did you just see me and say 'Oh, I should go and make Madison Shecker's life a bit more twisted and interesting, and reveal she's Madison Yattamori!' I mean seriously! Ugh, I need a vacation..."

March 12, 2011
SOUL SOCIETY
Toshiro's Perspective
Toshiro watches Yattamori as she lies unconscious on the bed in front of him, breathing normally. He sighs and turns towards Cree, who sits still shaken in a chair by Yattamori's bed. She stares down at the ground, probably seeing Devena's attack over and over in her head.
"Hey." Toshiro says, grabbing Cree's attention, "Are you going to be ok?"
Cree's out through a window behind her, then sighs.
"You know, I'm not sure." Cree answers, "Madison just brought me into this world, saying it's the same world from a cartoon on TV, and that all the characters are real people. And to top it off, not only do some have powers that I seem to have, but she also has an alter ego that looks like more of a demon then anything I've ever seen."
Toshiro sighs.
"Yes, I have to admit that Devena isn't one of the most pure of people in the world, probably the universe. To I, she is truly the she devil brought to Earth, but-" Toshiro starts.
"-But what?! That women, no, that beast almost killed you, and you have the care to have a but to say about her!-" Cree snaps.
"She's still a part of her!" Toshiro snaps back, causing Cree to shut up.
After a minute, Toshiro calms back down and sighs, feeling that maybe he got a little too rough.
"Why...are you two yelling at each other?" Yattamori's voice cracks, startling them both.
They both turn and look to see Yattamori staring at them, actually glaring a bit because of their actions.
"You do realize that this a patient room and you're not to scream your lungs out?" Yattamori asks, sitting up.
"Ma-Madison, you're awake." Cree says.
Yattamori looks over at her and grins.
"Yeah, what happened? Why am I at Squad 4?" Yattamori asks.
Toshiro blinks.
...She must not remember what happened past her yelling at me...
"Madison..." Toshiro starts, grabbing Yattamori's attention, "Devena came out."
Yattamori's eyes widen in shock and fear, not believing what he just told her. She looks back down at the covers and begins to clentch it tight in her fists. Soon, she starts to shake, probably freaking out.
"B-But how...?" Yattamori starts, "I...defeated her, she...she should of disappeared!"
"We know, we know, calm down Yattamori." Toshiro says, trying to shush.
"But Toshiro, if she's not gone then I'm a thr-" Yattamori starts again.
"-You are not a threat to the Soul Society!" Toshiro interupts, causing Yattamori to fall silent, before he sighs again, "Listen, the reason that she was able to come out again was because since you got badly injured soon after your last battle with Devena, she was able to drain your energy enough to become the master of your body. But, because it had also been so soon since the defeat, she probably wouldn't of been able to do much anyway, or stay in control for too long. So in short, she just came out because you're still gaining back all your strength since the split."
Cree looks up at Toshiro as he speaks, surprised by his explanation. Though, he looks back at Yattamori, happy that she at least understands him. She grins and nods.
"So, you mean once I've gained back my strength fully, Devena will probably never pop up again?" Yattamori asks.
Toshiro looks away, then nods, grinning.
"Yes, I suppose that's correct." Toshiro answers.
Yattamori's eyes fill up with  it's old life, and she seems to calm, relaxing her sitting position.
"So, what do we do today?" Yattamori asks.
Toshiro looks up and thinks, trying to come up with something to do.
"Well, you're supposed to rest and recover for today and tomorrow. I for once have all my papers done, and I made sure Rangiku finished, so I really have nothing to do." Toshiro answers.
"Why don't we go somewhere?" Cree inputs.
Yattamori grins.
"Yeah, that sounds fun." Yattamori agrees.
"But where would we go?" Toshiro asks.
"We'll it depends, what's open?" Cree asks.
"Um, I'm pretty sure nothing big is open. It is only March." Yattamori says.
Cree's eyes widen.
"It's March?" Cree asks.
"Yes, March 12, 2011." Toshiro answers.
"Hey, we could go shopping again." Yattamori says, showing her more happy side that her Yattamori half used to shine.
"Uh, no. Remember, both Yattamori and Shecker, mostly Yattamori, went crazy with buying all those clothes. Not to mention the fact that we bought an expensive dinner afterwards." Toshiro counters.
"I know, I'm both Shecker and Yattamori." Yattamori says, grinning, "But we've all agreed that if I'm mostly anyone, I'm Madison Shecker."
Toshiro grins, happy that Shecker hasn't been reconsumed by Yattamori's memories.
"Hey, I know!" Yattamori says.
"What?" Cree asks.
"How about we go to a beach for the day?" Yattamori answers.
Toshiro's eyes widen.
"In March?" Toshiro asks.
"Well, we could always open the Senkaimon in another part of the World of the Living." Yattamori says.
Toshiro thinks to himself for a moment, then sighs.
"Well, alright, but I'm not swimming, I hate heat." Toshiro says, showing off his cooler personality.
"And that's just another reason you have an ice zampakutou." Yattamori says as she gets out of the bed.
"Hey, one question." Cree says, pulling Toshiro's and Yattamori's attention, "Where are we gonna get swimsuits?"
"Well, I was just gonna buy one there, along with his." Yattamori says, pointing at Toshiro, "How about you buy one too."
"But I have no money." Cree says.
"Don't worry, I lend you some." Yattamori says as she walks over to the door, "Now, excuse me, but please leave so I can change. I'll meet you at the Senkaimon in 25 minutes, alright?"
Toshiro nods, along with Cree.
"Alright." Toshiro says, before walking out like Yattamori requested.
"See you later." Cree says as she walks out too, before Yattamori closes the door behind her.
Toshiro hears Cree walking faster to catch up with him.
"So, where do I go now?" Cree asks as she finally matches his speed.
"Just go to Yattamori's barricks and borrow some of her clothes, you two seem to be around the same size, if you're not bigger." Toshiro answers.
"Hey! What's that supposed to mean?!" Cree asks irritated.
"Nothing, just go, I'll meet you later with Yattamori." Toshiro says, before flashstepping, from Cree's sight.
As he flashsteps, he sighs, hoping that of all things, Yattamori doesn't make him do one thing while at the beach.
Swim.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cree's Perspective
Cree smiles as she feels the warm sunshine hit her face, happy to be someplace full of warmth and happiness, unlike the dismal, cold world of the Soul Society or her world. She looks over to see Madison smiling too, readjusting her sunglasses as she moves her bangs, which fly happily in the soft breeze. Madison wears a cute flower print halter top that cuts off right at the top of her belly-button, showing off some of her flat stomach. She wears short shorts, which show off her in shape legs, her feet flopping in wedge sandals, her toes the cutest of lime green. Her long hair is braided, her bow in it's regular place, along with her choker and charm necklace. And, as for accessories, she wears no earrings, but her right arm has many bracelets hanging from her wrist, jingling as she walks.
It's now that Cree looks down at herself, loving her own outfit.
She wears a brlightly striped tank, her own pair of short-shorts and sneakers, her legs looking better then ever as she struts, and the fabric of her tank soft as it rubs her olive skin. Her hair is tied back in a pony tail only some left in front as a small braid in front of her ear.
Though, when she looks over at Toshiro, who's on the other side of Madison, he looks at lot different then them.
He wears cargo shorts matched with a plain light blue t-shirt, matched with blue sneakers. Other, then that, he wears nothing different, though, he still looks as miserable as someone of their age can be. He sweats in the sun and his frown streches across his face, causing his frown marks to deepen.
"Uh, Toshiro, are you alright?" Cree asks.
Toshiro looks over at her.
"I hate heat...and it's scorching out here..." Toshiro mutters as he still drags his feet.
Madison groans.
"Toshiro, you are such a party-pooper. Will you at least try to enjoy yourself?" Madison says, turning to face him.
"Yattamori, you know my character and personality. You should of known that I would of acted like this." Toshiro says, turning towards her.
"I didn't think that you would be so glum and duldrum." Madison says back, saying words that Cree has never heard her say.
"Sorry to disapoint." Toshiro says as they continue on.
Soon, Toshiro finds relief inside a bathing suit store, while Cree and Madison look around in the bikini section of the store.
"Hmm. Which one should I get?" Madison as she holds two different bikinis to Cree.
Cree scratches her head as she looks at both, trying to decide herself.
One is a coral blue, a small, but pretty green lace design working around the top and bottoms. It's a halter, and hooks and the back, something that seems cute. But the other is orange with lime green annd teal stripes, the bottoms more like shorts. The top has normal tank shoulders, though looser ones hang off where they tie to the fabric, something the Cree knows Madison likes.
She makes an instant descision.
"The orange one." Cree answers.
Madison grins.
"That's what I was hoping you'd pick." Madison says as she pushes her towards the changing room, "Now, get changed, and let's go to the beach!"
"But, how do we pay? We're in Mexico." Cree asks as she walks in.
Madison grina.
"Don't worry, leave that to me." Madison says before she shuts the door.
Cree sighs and turns back to her own swimsuit. It's a purple and dark blue plaid bikini, the top a halter like the coral blue one, the bottoms girl surf truncks.
Within minutes, Cree, Madison, and a ever depressing Toshiro are standing on the white sandy beach, off a mexican town, the water crystal blue.
Madison grins and runs towards the water, pulling Toshiro behind her, catching him off guard.
"Ya-Yattamori! What are you doing?!" Toshiro yells, failing to find traction in the sand, though Cree notices his cheeks becoming ruddy.
"What do you think?!" Madison says, laughing, "We're getting in the water."
"Yattamori!" Toshiro yells.
But, before Toshiro can do anything more, Madison hits the water, pulling Toshiro in after her.
Toshiro hits the water with a big plop, causing Madison to laugh histarically, and Cree to let out a huge grin, trying to hold back her own laughter. Without warning, Madison disappears, Toshiro taking her place above the water. Though, seconds later, Madison pops back up, soaked.
"Hey!" Madison laughs at Toshiro, splashing him.
"You started it!" Toshiro yells back, starting to brighten up a bit.
Madison turns and gestures at Cree.
"Cree, get your butt out here!" Madison yells, before Toshiro surprise dunks her again.
Cree laughs, running towards the two at full speed, before jumping in right next to them, soaking Toshiro as Madison comes back up.
Soon, the trio find themselves laughing as Toshiro seems to be the target of most of the dunking and splashing. Cree laughs happily with the others, glad that the awkward has finally past. After about 20 minutes, Cree and Madison come out to get goggles, though Toshiro steals Madison's, causing her to run after him at full sprint, surprising Cree that she could actually run that fast. Though, it ends quickly as Madison tackles Toshiro, ultimately regaining her goggles, though she did seem to loose some of her steam, both Toshiro's and her cheeks turning red with embaressment as they both walked back, panting.
As the day drew on, Cree noticed something about Madison that she had never seen before. On her stomach, to the left of her belly-button, is a birthmark. Though birthmarks are normal, this one seems unique. And the fact that this is the first time she's ever seen it, makes her wonder about it more. Because as she thinks back, she doesn't remember Madison having the birthmark there any other time they went swimming together. And, there's also the fact that it's shape is strange. It looks like a backwards S, the ends like a curly cue curling into itself. That, and it seems that she has a scar down the middle of her back, and a smaller, less noticable one on her chest. The look immediately explains what it is, along with the way Toshiro's look becomes bland everytime he sets his eyes on it.
It's what is left behind from 14 years ago. A reminder.
Cree finally works up the nerve though to ask about the birthmark.
"Hey Madison?" Cree asks.
Madison looks over at her.
"Yeah?" she answers.
"Is that a tattoo?" Cree asks, pointing at the mark.
Madison's eyes widen.
"Tattoo?"
"The mark next to your belly-button."
"Oh, no, it's a birthmark."
"But it's never been there before in the other world."
Madison scratches her head.
"Hmm, that's true. Then I really don't know." Madison answers.
"Do you know what it means?" Cree asks.
"What it means?"
"I don't know, it was just a thought."
"Well, I don't think it means anything. I just think it's a random birthmark."
"Alright." Cree says, before diving back under the water.
As she swims, she decides on two things.
1, Madison really doesn't know what it means,
and 2,...
There's more to it then they all know.

Death and Reincarnation (Madison Shecker's Story) pt. 46

"...How on Earth am I gonna do this? I mean, seriously, how can I teach Cree how to use her zampakutou? It's not like some manual I can use to help her. If there was, I would of used it to help me with Mamori when I learned her name. But oh well, it looks like I'll have to deal with it considering our strange circumstances. Though, as we work on as usual, Cree keeps on asking more and more about what exactly my big secret is. And, whenever I say to her that 'she' isn't an issue anymore, she just wants to know more and more! What can I do?! It's not like I'm gonna show her my secret, even if I knew how, so it doesn't matter anyway. Still, can I keep Devena away from her forever, or will Cree have to find out the hard way?..."

SOUL SOCIETY
Madison's Perspective
Madison yawns as she walks down the steps of her house, Cree following close behind. Seeing as how Cree isn't exactly a Soul Reaper and has no quartersto even go to, she decided that it would be best if she stayed with Madison, which she agreed with.
"Cree, did you sleep well?" Madison asks as they turn down into the hall leading to the kichen.
Cree nods.
"Yeah, you have such big guest rooms, it's almost ridiculous." Cree comments.
Madison chuckles.
"Don't blame me, blame the architects, they did all the planning." Madison says, "All I told them was that I wanted something roomy and high-end."
"Well, they certainly took that to the extreme."
"You've got that right."
After a few minutes, the two find themselves laughing over cereal and hot chocolate, going over what they think Virginia would do if she out about this place.
"Hey, anyone home?" Toshiro's voice calls from down the hall.
"We're in the kichen, Toshiro." Madison calls back.
"How the heck did he get in?" Cree asks.
"He has a spare key in case of emergencies." she answers.
"How is breakfast an emergency?" Cree asks.
"I don't know."
Within moments, Madison sees Toshiro in the doorway, wearing his usual Soul Reaper uniform and white captain's haori.
"So, what's the plan for today?" he asks.
"Well, I talked to the Grandpa Yama yesterday, and he said that we need to start Cree's training right away, so that's the plan." Madison answers.
"Wait, so I don't even get a day off, or anything?" Cree asks.
"Nope." Madison answers.
"Well, that seems a little unfair." Cree comments.
"I know how you feel, I had to do the same thing." Madison says, "But don't worry, once you've learned to control Hebi Denkou, you'll probably be put under either Toshiro or I, so don't worry about it."
Cree sighs, and returns to her cereal, now a little down.
"So, anything else going on?" Toshiro asks.
"Nope, that's pretty much it." Madison answers.
"Alright, well, I'm going back to my barricks to get some paperwork done, then I'll meet you two at my training grounds. Sound good?" he asks.
Madison nods, as well as Cree.
"Awesome." Madison answers, "See ya then."
"Bye." Toshiro says, before leaving, the door soon shutting in the distance.
After a moment of quiet, Madison looks up to see Cree smiling strangly.
"Is something up?" Madison asks, before taking a sip of her Hot Chocolate.
"Do you like him?" Cree asks.
The surprise of the question causes Madison to do a full spit take, luckily facing away from Cree at the time, though it still causes Cree to almost jump out of her chair.
"Wh-What?!" Madison yells, blushing.
"Do you like Toshiro?" Cree asks again.
"What on Earth would make you think that?!"
"The fact that you two have been gawking at each other everytime I see you two in the same room, the fact that the only person you have brung to our world is Toshiro, and the fact that you're completely red now that I've brought it up."
Madison falls silent, taking in what Cree just said.
...Have I really been gawking at him?....I didn't mean to make him the only person that comes to the other world...And why am I turning red?!...
"You're turning even redder!" Cree says, breaking Madison's consentration.
"I am not!" Madison yells.
"Oh yes you are."
They both fall quiet, before Cree starts again.
"Madison?" she asks.
"What?" Madison answers.
"Who exactly is "her"?"
Madison feels her body go stiff.
"Wh-What?" she asks.
"Yesterday, you said something about a "her", well, who is "her"?" Cree repeats.
"She's...no one." Madison answers, not wanting Cree to know about Devena.
"Madison, tell me-" Cree starts.
"I said no one-" Madison interupts.
"But Madison-"
"I said she's no one!" Madison says as she gets up, "And now you're cleaning the mess!"
Madison leaves Cree stunned and walks to her room, and changes, grumbling to herself the whole time. After an hour or so, Madison finally coaxes herself to go downstairs. She quickly finds Cree in the Media room, watching Ghost Adventures (who knew they had it in this world) on the big screen. As she walks closer, Madison notices that Cree has changed as well, wearing the kimono that Madison remembers her wearing back in their other world. Finally, she finds her voice.
"Come on Cree, if we don't leave now, we'll be late to meet Toshiro and Aneko." Madison says, walking into the room.
Cree glances over at her, before sighing, turning off the TV.
"Fine." Cree says as she gets up, walking past Madison.
Madison groans.
...Great, she's mad at me...
"Oh, c'mon Cree, it was partly your fault-" Madison starts.
"-And it was partly yours!" Cree snaps, taking Madison by surprise, "Infact, scratch that, it was all your fault."
"Alright, alright, calm down." Madison says,"Jeez, it was just hot chocolate."
"It's not that that I'm talking about!" Cree yells.
Madison stops talking.
Cree doesn't speak either for the rest of the trip over to the training grounds, and when they walk up to Toshiro, he seems to catch some of the tension in the air.
"Is something wrong?" he asks, surprising Madison and Cree that he picked it up so quickly.
"It's nothing, just a little disagreement." Madison reassures him.
"More like a full blown quarrel." Cree mutters under her breath.
"Cree." Madison snaps, hushing Cree.
"Alright then, because you two have the better connection, Yattamori will be the one to duel you, Cree." Toshiro says.
"What?!" they both yell.
"It was during a duel between you two that Hebi Denkou first showed himself, maybe if you two continue fighting, you'll learn how to pull Hebi Denkou from your subconscious, like Yattamori can with Mamori Koudoutai." Toshiro explains.
Madison and Cree groan.
"Fine." they both answer, before turning to face each other.
Without a second thought, Madison holds her hand out, calling on Mamori. Instantly, thehilt appears in her palm, the tecture nostalgic against her skin. She smiles as she takes tight hold, holding Mamori close in her right hand. She looks up to see Cree staring at her, a little taken back by what she just did.
"How do I do that?" Cree says.
"We'll have to find out." Madison says, before she lunges at Cree, taking her by full surprise.
Cree luckily dodges Madison's attack, and rolls to the ground a few feet to the left of where Mamori had landed.
"Are you crazy?! I haven't called him out yet! You could of killed me, you idiot!" Cree yells.
A spark goes off in Madison's head.
"Will you stop calling me an idiot?!" Madison yells, "This is part of your training, didn't you hear Toshiro?!"
Madison lunges again, to be met by more dirt, Cree now on her right.
"Will you stop running?!" Madison yells as she pounces again, but misses once more, "Stop it Cree. You're getting no where, no and-"
...Allow me to kill you!...
Madison freezes.
"Oh...no..." Madison whispers.
Cree, Toshiro, and Aneko, who just showed up, notice her stop.
"Madison, what's wrong?" Cree asks.
Madison begins to feel her heart beat faster as she looks up, partially terrified. She immediately jolts around to face Toshiro.
"Toshiro! Devena!" she yells.
The world goes black.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cree's Perspective
Her eyes are wide with shock as black light begins to spit from Madison's body, contorting in odd shapes around her until it completely encases her in a shell.
"To-Toshiro! What's going on?!" Cree yells, turning to look at Toshiro.
He's ash white, the light in his eyes gone.
"This is bad, Cree-" Madison's Lieutenant yells, grabing her attention, "Find someplace to hide Captain Hitsugaya!"
Cree becomes confused.
...Why does Toshiro have to be hidden?...
Suddenly, a gush of air rushes past Cree, towards Toshiro. She looks to see white hair, glinting dangerous in the light. And she gasps as she realizes something.
She's Madison.
"DIE TOSHRIO HITSUGAYA!" an unfamiliar high voice screams from Madison's body as she thrusts Mamori Koudoutai down at Toshiro's head.
Without thinking, Cree rushes over and moves in front of Toshiro.
"Strike, HEBI DENKOU!" Cree yells.
...Please work!...
As if to answer her prayers, her sword appears in her right palm, and she grins as she grips it tight, putting her fist up on the side of the blade. She grits her teeth as Mamori Koudoutai hits Hebi Denkou with great force, sending both Toshiro and herself sliding back in the dirt. She pants as she looks up at Madison, and she freezes.
Madison's hair is pure white, her once warm hazel eyes now murderous blood red, the whites of her eyes now jet black. She outfit is exactly the same, though she seems more in a seductive way now.
"Ma-Madison..." Toshiro says, grabbing Cree's attention.
"Toshiro, what's happening?!" Cree says.
Toshiro seems to ignore her as he grits his teeth.
"You devil Devena, how the heck did you find a way to surface?!" Toshiro yells.
Cree's eyes widen.
...Devena?...
Madison, I mean, Devena, smirks, and chuckles.
"It seems that your little girlfriend has been in a bit of a stressing situation lately, as well as being injured." Devena answers.
Toshiro stares her down.
"Get out of her, now!" Cree yells, taking even Devena by surprise.
Soon, Devena smirks again.
"Well, what do we have here? A little girl with a mouth to big for her head." Devena says.
"Shut up, and give Madison her body back, now!" Cree says, holding her sword in front of her, "Or else I'll beat you out of her!"
Toshiro gasps.
"Cree, are you nuts!" Aneko yells.
"Devena is too powerful for you! She can use probably up to 75% of Yattamori's power, on top of her own, she's too much for you!" Toshiro yells.
Cree turns to face him.
"You give up too easily." Cree comments.
Devena begins to laugh histarically.
"What's so funny." Cree asks.
"The fact that you think you'll actually survive this. Might I warn you that if it hadn't been for Yattamori, both Shecker and Toshiro would be dead from the injuries I gave them." Devena laughs, "And, this time, Yattamori won't save you."
Without second thought, Devena flings herself at Cree, meeting Hebi Denkou in a mound of sparks. The impact causes Cree to jolt for a moment, before regaining herself. She glares down Devena as Devena laughs.
"Die, you little rodent!" Devena yells, thrusting her sword every which way.
Suddenly, Cree looses her footing and stumbles, giving Devena an opening. She stares helplessly as Mamori Koudoutai rushes towards her.
But, before it reaches her, Toshiro appears in front of her, stopping Devena's attack. Devena's eyes widen as she watches Toshiro's eyes glow.
"What the-?" Devena starts.
"Madison, I'm sorry." Toshiro starts, "But it's the only way..."
Without warning, Toshiro thrusts his sword around Mamori Koudoutai and forces it from Devena's hand, before pressing his hand on her forehead.
"Bakudo 20, Sakasa Kon (Soul Reverse)!" he yells, immediately followed by the black energy reappearing.
"W-Why, YOU!" Devena screams, "I'm gonna KILL YOU, YOU DAMN BRAT!"
Suddenly, the light reencases Devena, followed by a few high pitched screams. Soon, the light purifies to a bright lime green, causing Cree to sheild her eyes. When the light finally fades, Cree gasps to see Madison back to normal, her white locks once again chestnut. Her legs give in and Madison falls into Toshiro, apparently unconscious. Cree immediately runs over to Toshiro's side, to see Madison unharmed, but breathing hard.
"I hate that Devena..." Toshiro comments.
"Toshiro." Cree says.
"Yes?" Toshiro answers.
"That's the "her" you've been talking about, isn't it?"
He doesn't answer for a moment.
"Yes." he answers.
Shivers go down her spine.
Great, just great. Her best friend has a demon inside her.
What else?

Death and Reincarnation (Madison Shecker's Story) pt. 45

"...Well, now what are we supposed to do? With Cree now having a zampakutou, not to mention she's wearing a Squad T.P. uniform whenever she changes, Toshiro and I don't know what to do with her. Should we take her to the Soul Society? Or, should we keep her here, maybe train her on the weekends? God, I have no idea what to do, considering this has probably never happened before. Oh well, I guess I have no choice but to somehow talked Toshiro into letting her join us when we leave to go to the Soul Society. Well, that will be interesting, but there's still one thing that bothers me. If that Hollow really did follow Toshiro and I into this world from the Soul Society, who gave them the knowledge of how to open their own senkaimon?..."

OUR WORLD
4:45 p.m.
Madison's Perspective
Toshiro and Madison stare at Cree as she falls to the ground, stunned by what just happened.
"C-CREE!" Madison yells, trying to get up, but cringing in the end.
Toshiro immediately appears by her side, catching her as she falls back to the dirt.
"Yattamori, be careful, you're still not completely healed!" Toshiro warns, holding her arm.
"Cree, she's out cold!" Madison snaps, trying to stand again, making better this time.
"Yattamori please-" Toshiro starts.
Suddenly, Madison flashsteps from Toshiro's grasp, taking him by surprise. She reappears by Cree's side, trying to turn her over without yelling in pain. As she finally gets Cree onto her knee, she smiles as she sees that Cree's just sleeping, perfectly fine.
Though, she's a far other story. Her rip is still cracked on the left side, two on the right, and she has a good idea that she probably has broken at least one of her major bones in her right leg.
Then, a soft yellow glow distracts her from the pain, causing her to look back down at Cree. Her eyes widen as she watches Cree's kimono beginning to fade from sight, returning to her original outfit. As it happens, the light seems to gain a life of it's own, surrounding her with a nostalgic yellow light.
"What the..." she starts, watching the light grow, then shrink.
Without reason, the light splits into different orbs and float for a second, before floating down to touch different areas of her body, then expanding over. Madison gasps as she finally realizes what they are.
"She can heal...?"
Within seconds, the pain in her chest begins to subside, the cracks in her ribs beginning to mend, along with the completely broken. Soon, after, her leg is back to normal, and even the scratches on her face have disappeared, the only thing left being the little gash on her fore arm, which is being attended to with great stediness.
After only what seems like seconds, Madison is fully healed, even her mild headache which she had tried to ignore. All of her stamina is back, and she quickly stands, holding Cree up by her arm.
"Yattamori!" Toshiro yells as he runs over to her side, surprised by the fact that she's able to even lift Cree a foot off the ground.
When she turns back towards him, his eyes widen in surprise, not expecting to see her in this great of shape.
"H-How did you heal so quickly?" Toshiro asks.
"I wasn't the one that healed myself." Madison answers, "She was the one."
His eyes widen even more.
"Cree healed you?!"
"Well, I think."
"What do you mean "you think"?"
"Well, I do believe she has the ability to heal, but I think that because I also have that ability, it was amplifed, making it stronger and quicker." she explains.
Toshiro thinks it over for a moment, before nodding.
"I guess that makes sense." Toshiro finally says.
Madison sighs and turns back towards the road.
"So what are we gonna do?" Madison asks.
"About getting home, or about her Soul Reaper abilities?" Toshiro asks.
"Both!" Madison snaps, "Toshiro, Cree has abilities like us, and she even has Time Psyhic abilities to top it off!"
"Well, it's not like we can take her to the Soul Society!"
Madison becomes quiet, worrying Toshiro.
"Yattamori, no, we can't-" Toshiro starts.
"Well why not! If she does have a zampakutou, then she must be able to travel back and fourth. Heck, I still don't know why you can besides that." Madison counters.
Toshiro sighs.
"Well, even if she could, how on Earth would we explain her to the Head Captain, no, the Soul Society itself?!" Toshiro asks.
Without warning, Madison begins laughing uncontrolably, confusing Toshiro completely.
"Why on Earth are you laughing?!" Toshiro asks, irritated.
Madison wipes her eyes with her free hand, finally able to breath slightly.
"Toshiro...are you serious?" Madison asks.
Toshiro raises an eyebrow.
"Huh? Yes, why?" he answers.
"W-Wow, you're an idiot." Madison says, still giggling.
"What?!"
"Toshiro, if they were able to accept me, a girl who had been pretty much dead for 14 years, into their Society, don't you think they would accept her?" Madison asks, silencing Toshiro.
He scratches his head, think over what Madison had just suggested, and it hits him.
She right, they had accepted her easily, so it wasn't an issue.
"Well?" Madison asks, grabbing Toshiro's attention.
He stares at her for a moment, then sighs.
"Fine."
Madison grins.
"Alright, now we only have one problem." Madison says.
Toshiro blinks in surprise.
"What?" he asks.
"What are we supposed to do with Cree until she wakes up?" she asks, pulling Cree closer by the arm.
He doesn't answer as his eyes widen, more confused then he was last time.
"Uh, I've got nothing." Toshiro answers.
Madison sighs.
"Great."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cree's Perspective
She blinks as light begins to enter eyes, brighter then usual. She scratches her head, not knowing what exactly has happened. Cree looks around as her eyes finally clear, noticing that the room around her is strange to her to say the least.
"Where the heck am I?" she asks herself.
The room looks like something out of a Asian movie, a crane picture in the corner of the room, and what she once thought to be a bed turns out just to be a mat on the floor. But, as she looks around, she finds that for some reason, the room seems off, more cartoon then anything. It's now that she looks down at herself.
For some reason, her hair is longer by a few inches, and she nows wears a white kimono looking outfit. And, around her neck, is a topaz gem in the shape of a triangle, hanging from what looks like a black hide chain. Slowly, she stands walking over to the door.
Suddenly, the door opens, causing her to gasp in surprise.
"Wow, wow, Cree, settle down!" Madison's familiar voice says as Cree falls to the ground.
Cree looks up to see Madison, but not Madison Madison, Yattamori Madison, staring down at her, Toshiro close behind her with a few people she's never seen before.
"Are you alright Cree?" Madison asks as she kneels beside her.
"W-Where am I? Why do you still look like that? When did you-?" Cree goes on.
"Wow, wow, Cree." Madison shushes her.
"Yattamori, is this the girl you told us about?" A girl, maybe a year older then them asks Madison, calling her by her other name.
"Yes. Momo, this is Cree. Cree, this is Momo, one of Toshiro's and mine childhood friends." Madison says as introduces the girl to her.
The girl smiles.
"Nice to meet you." Momo says.
"Captain, how are you going to explain her to the Head Captain?" another women asks, though probably more in her 20s.
"I'm just gonna tell it to him straight." Madison answers.
"So you're gonna tell him "Oh, I just happened to run into a Hollow in your world, and that my friend here somehow miraculously gained a zampakutou just in time to save the day, before falling to the ground unconscious. Oh, and to top it off, while she was unconscious, she healed me, meaning she also has time psychic abilities." the women says.
Madison doesn't answer for a moment.
"That is what you were going to tell him, isn't it?" the women asks.
"Maybe." Madison answers.
"-Yattamori!" Toshiro starts.
"-Well, what else am I supposed to tell him?!" Madison interupts.
"WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?!" Cree yells, grabbing everyones attention.
Madison sighs.
"Cree, do you remember what happened to you?" she asks.
Cree blinks as she scratches her head.
"Does the name Hebi Denkou sound familiar?" Madison asks.
Cree's eyes widen as everything that happened to her comes rushing back in one moment. From seeing Madison get slammed from behind, to when she was trying to run over to her, before falling to ground. Finally as the memories fade, she grabs Madison by the shoulder, who's still sitting beside her.
"You mean that really happened?!" Cree yells.
Madison looks surprised for a moment, before sighing.
"Yes Cree." she finally answers.
Cree lets go and looks down at the ground, trying to make sense of everything.
"Cree." Madison says, distracting Cree.
"What?" she asks.
"Cree...we brought you to the Soul Society." Madison admits.
Cree's eyes widen, stunned by what she was just told.
"What...?" she mumbles.
"After you fell unconscious, Yattamori and I decided that the best thing for you, considering your unknown powers, would be to bring you here to discover more information about your zampakutou, which we've guessed is called Hebi Denkou." Toshiro explains.
"B-But, what about my family?" Cree asks.
"Don't worry, in the other world, it's night, and our bodies are just sleeping." Madison reassures her, freaking her out even more.
"What's that supposed to mean?!"
Madison sighs.
"When we come to this world, only our spirits travel here. Our spirits leave our bodies, leaving them in an unconscious, sleep-type state." Madison explains.
"S-So, that time when you past out during your party, you..." Cree starts, before trailing off.
"Came here, along with all the other times." Madison finishes.
"That's unbelievable..." Cree whispers.
Madison chuckles.
"To most, yes, but to us, it's just a part of everyday life." Madison says.
"But still, some of the things that have been happening lately have been strange." Another women says, stepping up from behind the others, "Especially the Yattamori, Shecker split a few weeks ago."
"Yattamori, Shecker split? What's that?" Cree asks.
Madison gulps a little, before beginning to hold herself.
"Madison?" Cree asks.
"A few weeks ago, Yattamori and I were scouting an area in a place called the World of the Living, when our new enemy, called the Bijuu, attacked us." Toshiro starts.
"Bijuu? Like Naruto Bijuu?" Cree asks.
Everyone accept Madison become confused.
"Naruto? What's Naruto?" Momo asks.
"Nothing, continue Toshiro." Madison says.
"Anyway, Yattamori and I tried our best, but when Yattamori was injured, we had little chance to win. Luckily, backup came, but then the leader of the group attacking us showed up. He sent me flying into a nearby river, then centered in on Yattamori. After pinning her to a nearby tree, he used some power to spilt Yattamori into two people." Toshiro continues.
Cree's eyes widen.
"Two people...?" Cree says.
"Yes, the Madison you know, Madison Shecker, and Yattamori, Madison Yattamori. Then, four days later, the two had to duel to the death."
Cree gasps.
"What?! Who won?!" Cree yells.
"Shecker." Madison says, taking Cree by surprise.
"What?..." Cree asks.
"Shecker, Madison Shecker was the one who won." Madison says, "Or, I won the duel, I guess I should say."
"So then, what happened to Yattamori?" Cree asks.
The room falls silent for a few moments, before Madison sighs.
"She returned to just being my memories of my last life." Madison answers.
"...Last...life..."
Cree gulps.
"Madison..." Cree starts.
Madison blinks.
"Yeah?" she answers.
"Why...why were you stabbed in the heart?" Cree asks.
Madison eyes widen as the other gasp, including Toshiro.
"How...did you find out about that?" Madison asks.
Cree stalls for a moment.
"I told her." Toshiro confesses, surprising everyone.
"Captain, you told?!" the light haired women asks, surprised by the thought of his actions.
"Yes, she wanted to know why Yattamori didn't stay in the Soul Society." Toshiro explains.
"Madison." Cree says, regrasping Madison's attention, "Please, why were you stabbed?"
Madison looks at her for a few moments with concern in her hazel eyes, before gulping. She looks up at Toshiro.
"Do you not want me to tell her?" Madison asks him, causing Cree's hair to stand more on end.
Toshiro looks away for a moment, thinking the question over. Finally he sighs, and turns back.
"It's alright." Toshiro answers.
"Will you be alright?" she asks.
He nods.
Madison sighs, then looks back at Cree.
"14 years ago, Toshiro and I had been scouting in the Soul Society, same thing as when our Yattamori-Shecker situation happened while in the World of the Living. While we were going through a forest outside one of the Rukon Districts, we were attacked by powerful Hollows. While standing back to back after going against them once or twice, I had a vision." Madison starts.
"What did you see?" Cree asks.
Madison looks back up at her.
"I saw Toshiro get stabbed through the back with an arrow-shot sword." Madison admits, a few tears beginning to grow in her eyes.
Cree's eyes widen in alarm, before looking over to Toshiro, who's gritting his teeth and clenching his fists.
"After, Toshiro began to walk from me, and I knew that he was uh...you know." Madison continues, "So, I got rid of Mamori, and pushed him out of the way. That's when it happened."
Cree gasps.
...She died...protecting Toshiro...
Toshiro walks out of the room, and slams the door, catching everyones attention.
"Toshiro..." Madison trails, "He still blames himself."
Cree turns back towards her, seeing that she not only looks concerned, and a little saddened, but maybe even a little irritating. Moments later, she clenches her own, taking everyone still in the room by surprise.
"Damn, when will he ever realize it's not his fault?!" Madison says, stunning Cree and the others, "And why does it still matter?! I'm here now, so it doesn't even count even more!"
Cree chuckles, taking Madison by surprise.
"What's so funny?" Madison asks.
Cree looks over at her.
"It doesn't matter if happened 14 years ago, but you're here now. The main fact is that something that he did, did lead you to sacrifice yourself for him. I mean, hasn't he ever done the same for you, just not to that much extent?" Cree asks.
Madison turns away, before her eyes widen, and she nods.
"He's done it twice before. Once when I first came back, and another when...he fought her." Madison admits.
Confusion crosses Cree's face.
...Her?...
Suddenly, Madison gets up.
"I'm sorry, I-I just..." Madison stutters, before she finally walks out, not able to take it any longer.
Cree reaches to her as she shuts the door.
"Madison, stop-" Cree starts.
"No, Cree." the light haired women snaps, taking Cree by surprised.
Cree looks up at her, to see a concerned look as her expression.
"Rangiku, what's wrong?" Momo asks, revealing the women's name.
"Yattamori doesn't walk out on conversations. You know that. She must of been seriously uncomfortable or on the verge of tears to have to leave. The only one I can even think of talking to her and making it through to her in this type of situation is my Captain, and he already left. So, to me, I think that it's best that we leave her alone for a little while to allow her to calm down." Rangiku explains.
Cree sighs, then looks back at the door where Madison had just fled. As she watches, many questions pop into her mind. But, one out of all of them repeats itself in her mind.
...Just who...is "her"..?...

Death and Reincarnation (Madison Shecker's Story) pt. 44

"...Oh. My. God. This can't really be happening, can it?! I mean, not that I ever thought that my friends weren't strong or powerful, but out of all I can imagine, I never suspected this! But, I suppose I should be somewhat relieved that it's her, not someone that I might have to worry about like Virginia or Kayla. Though, that fact still doesn't change our situation at the moment. Oh, yeah, one more little question that I have yet to answer. WHY THE HECK IS THERE A HOLLOW IN THIS WORLD?! Did it follow Toshiro and I, has it been here for a while, or did it just magically appear out of thin air?! Though I strongly believe it's not the last one, there's now so many new questions that I have to answer. And it starts with how I explain to Cree that well, I can travel to the world of Bleach. This should be interesting..."

OUR WORLD
4:15 p.m.
Toshiro's (Tomas's) Perspective
Toshiro grins as Yattamori and he think back to the funny accident during band (he's been order to learn how to play saxephone, ugh), their last hour, involving Virginia and two clarinets. As the two laugh, pronounce footsteps seem to begin to grow louder as they walk down the cobble ailey towards Madison's pick-up destination, Bev's Restraunt (He likes their Angus Burger). Yattamori pauses slightly before him, seeming to reconginize the steps.
"Cree, why are you stalking us?" Yattamori asks.
Toshiro turns like Yattamori and is surprised to see that Yattamori had been right about it being Cree, carrying her math book under the leather arm of her coat. She walks directly towards them, seeming to have buisness with them.
"Ok, what's up?" Cree asks.
Yattamori's and his eyes widen, surprised by the question.
"Huh?" Yattamori says.
"What are you two hiding from me?" Cree asks.
Their eyes widen even more.
"What do you mean?" Toshiro asks.
"You two are hiding some secret from me. I know it. And, as Madison knows well, I'm not a fan of being kept in the dark. I want to know what's goning on." Cree explains.
Toshiro's breath catches.
...She's on to us...
Yattamori seems to sense his tention.
...Calm down, there's no way she'd guess about the Soul Society, we just need to give her a fake secret big enough that she'll no longer expect anything from us...
Cree notices their silence.
"Well, tell me!" Cree commands, sounding a little angrier.
Yattamori sighs.
"Listen Cree, you're right, we are keeping something. Though, we wanted to keep it from you guys until we knew it was final." Yattamori says, sounding smooth as glace.
"What?" Cree asks.
"Do you want to tell her, or me?" Yattamori asks, taking Toshiro by surprise.
"Uh, you can tell." Toshiro answers.
"Alright. Well, Toshiro might be moving into my neighborhood!" Yattamori says, smilng.
Toshiro smiles.
That is smart.
Cree blinks a few times.
"Seriously?" Cree asks.
"Yepe, we didn't want to say anything until everything was signed on the house." Yattamori explains, lying like an expert, but also like a housewife.
Cree shrugs.
"Alright then. If that's what you say." Cree says.
Toshiro sighs, relieved.
After they finally get passed the awkward zone of the secret confrontation, the trio find themselves laughing their heads off as Yattamori tells the funny story about Virginia. When they get halfway there, as they come to be inbetween the usual off white and dark blue houses, a sudden feeling of ominous intentioins sparks from the Earth below them. Toshiro and Yattamori stop instantly, knowing the nostalgic spark well. But, it's how Cree reacts that puts them over the edge.
"Wh-What's that?!" Cree yells, before looking looking over at them, "Do you know what that is?!"
Toshiro looks over at Yattamori for a hint of how to explain what's going on, but nothing seems to come to Yattamori's mind. Sweat seems to go down both of their faces as they try to explain.
"Do you?!" Cree yells again.
Yattamori finally seems to give in.
"Cree, you need to-" Yattamori starts.
"Well, what do I have here...? A few...appetizers..." a dark voice says from behind them.
Toshiro and Yattamori whip their heads around to see a gigantic hollow, about the size of at least three school busses stood up on their ends.
"Oh no..." Yattamori whispers.
"What...is that...thing?!" Cree yells, the color in her face fading.
Toshiro's eyes widen
...SHE CAN SEE IT?!...
"Ma-Madison! What's going on?!" Cree yells, running to Yattamori's side.
Yattamori looks away.
Suddenly, Toshiro sees a tenticle rush towards Yattamori.
"Yattamori, look out!" Toshiro yells.
Yattamori turns and flashsteps out of the way just in time, just missing the tenticle as Cree stands in shock. For a moment, she looks at the spot where Yattamori had just been, shaking.
"Cree! Are you alright?!" Toshiro yells, running towards Cree.
"What the...how did she...where did...?" Cree mutters, unable to finish a thought.
Toshiro's expression turns to that of concern.
"Toshiro, I think I'll have to take care of this one." Yattamori says as she reappears right in front of them, taking Cree by surprise.
"What do you mean "take care of it"?! It's 4 stories tall! It'll kill you Madison!" Cree yells, tear coming to her eyes.
Yattamori chuckles.
"You know Cree, there are a few reasons why I took such a liking to you when first met. But one of the main ones was that you were never one to show fear, never once showing a tear in my pressence, or any one else's infact." Yattamori starts, "So, please Cree, don't break that record here, it's not worth it. Hollows like this one aren't worth crying over, trust me. Just stay out of the way so you don't get hurt, I wouldn't forgive myself if it came to that."
The hollow begins to laugh in it's dense, dark voice.
"What's this? It seems that my prey is thinking too much of itself. Well, I'll change that!" the hollow yells.
It's Yattamori's turn to laugh, silencing the hollow for a moment.
"Why are you laughing, girl...?" the hollow asks.
"Because, it seems like the rest of the brainless hollows out there, you're too dumb to realize that I'm not a regular human." Yattamori says, beginning to glow a lime green.
Cree's eyes widen.
"Ma-Madison..." Cree whispers.
"Cree!" Yattamori yells, taking Cree by surprise, "Don't worry. Madison Yattamori can take care of this. Just trust me."
"Madison...Yattamori...?" Cree restates.
Toshiro looks back down at Cree. She looks up at him, confusion in her eyes.
"Tomas...who's Madison Yattamori?" Cree asks.
He grins.
"Just look, she's standing right in front of you." Toshiro answers, "Madison is Yattamori, the lost Captain of the 13 Court Guard Squads."
Cree's eyes widen in alarm.
"What?!" Cree yells, "What are you saying Tomas?!"
"Oh, my name's not Tomas." Toshiro starts.
Cree's eyes widen even more then before.
"What?..." she mutters.
"Call me Toshiro, Toshiro Hitsugaya." Toshiro says as he feels his disguise fading, his spiritual pressure returning as his silver hair and turquiose eyes become dominant.
Cree just stares at him for a moment, not believeing what she's seeing. After finally getting over his appearance, she looks back over at Yattamori. She's glowing stronger then ever, finally beginning to transform. Soon, she will not be Madison Shecker, the person Cree has come to love, but Yattamori.
"C'mon Yattamori, don't keep us waiting!" Toshiro yells.
Yattamori nods.
"MAMORI KOUDOUTAI!"
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cree's Perspective
She watches in shock and disbelief as Madison begins to morphe into someone else, into a girl that looks very similar to the original Madison. Her hair is still chestnut brown and wavy, but it's four or five times longer, and it's held up in a high ponytail by a lime green ribbon, her bangs now covering her right eye and thick strands of hair are all that hang down now, covering both her ears. Her eyes are glowing a slight blue. Similar to what Madison's have looked like in past circumstances. She's has a leather string necklace with a green, quarter-sized pendant hanging about six inches from her neck, along with a pink ribbon choker with another lime green gem attached to it around the base of her neck. She wears a pink, sleeveless, over-thing over a kimono with black curly-lined designs and black trimming, lime green arm bands transending from underneath the sleeves of the kimono, along with sandals worn over white sock-like things on her feet.
Cree's eyes widen in surprise.
...She's the girl from that vision in the middle of Madison's and my first duel!...
Madison, uh, Yattamori soon becomes encased in the lime green light, revealed moments later with wings, like that of an angel's. In her hand is a bow n' arrow, already strung and ready. Grunts in alarm take Cree's attention back to the colossal creature, seeming now to tremble in fear.
Unbelievable.
"Y-You! You're a Soul Reaper?!" the thing yells.
Madison grins.
"Unfortunate, isn't it." Madison says as she pulls her arrow back even farther, "Now die."
She releases, and in blinding moment, what looks like thousands of arrows shoot from Madison's one bow, hitting the thing square in the face with deadly prescision.
"AGHHHHHHHHHH!"  the beast screams as it turns to dust, ultimately being defeated.
For a moment, they all stand silent, unable to break any tention. But, finally, Madison resheathes her sword in a sheath tied to her back, something that hadn't been there a moment ago. As she releases it, it disappears once more, stunning Cree even more.
"H-How did you...?" Cree mumbles.
Madison responds to her mumbling and turns around to face her, a look of an experienced trained fighter pasted to her face, though it somehow is still content.
She sighs as she comes to stand over Cree.
"Oh Cree, I wish that you wouldn't of seen that. It would of made it so much easier on all of us, especially Toshiro and I." Madison says.
Cree blinks a few times, trying to to break down entirely.
"Wh-What's going on?! Why does Tomas look like your character?! Why do you look like you just stepped out of Bleach?! What was that thing?! How did you-?" Cree stammers.
"-Whoa, whoa, calm down Cree. One question at a time, please." Madison instructs, kneeling at Cree's side.
"Maybe you should start at the beginning, just so she understands everything clearly." Tomas, no, Toshiro suggests from nearby.
Madison nods and turns back towards Cree, sighing as she scratches her head.
"Alright, this is what happened. From the beginning, so listen carefully." Madison starts.
For about the next 20 minutes, right after Madison called her mom to tell her she was hanging out with Cree, Madison and Toshiro explain the whole to story behind their situation. From the first time they met, to the Soul Society and the World of the Living with Hollows, Soul Reapers, and zampakutous, and the whole two worlds plus two identities thing. Though, as she listens, she can sense just by the way they tell the story that they're leaving something out of this explanation. And all this causes her to just become more curious by the second.
"Do you understand, Cree?" Madison, no, Yattamori asks.
Cree comes back to reality.
"Y-Yeah, but one more thing." Cree says.
Madison and Toshiro blink in surprise.
"Uh, what?" Toshiro asks.
Cree gulps, hoping that she doesn't hit a sour note with her question.
"I understand how you were there, then went back after you saw "Bleach" during your birthday party. But, why did you, Yattamori, leave in the first place?" Cree asks.
Madison's and Toshiro's eyes widen in alarm. It's what Cree dreaded, she hit the sour note.
"Uh..um, well..." Madison starts, kinda loosing the color in her cheeks.
"W-What?" Cree asks.
"The reason why Yattamori left is because she-" Toshiro starts.
Suddenly, Madison goes flying into the air, hitting a nearby fense with bone-snapping intensity.
"AAAHHHHH!" Madison screches from the dust cloud, obviously in agonizing pain.
"Madison!" Toshiro and Cree yell.
From behind, a nostalgic tentacle zooms past Cree as she's pulled away by Toshiro, ultimatly being saved from Madison's fate. She opens her eyes to see that Toshiro seems to be running away from the probable Hollow, angering her.
"What are you doing?! We have to help her. She's seriously wounded!" Cree snaps.
"I know that! But you need to be taken someplace safe so you don't get involved, or else you'll be wounded. Heck, maybe even worse!" Toshiro counters, silencing her for a moment.
He stops and pushes her in the shadows of a tree, hiding her behind some limbs.
"Stay here, I'll take care of the Hollow." Toshiro orders, turning away from her.
"Toshiro wait." Cree says.
He turns back.
"What?" Toshiro asks.
"You never answered my question. Why didn't Yattamori stay?" Cree asks.
Toshiro's eyes widen, before he turns back.
His silence tells her that he'll probably not answer, causing her to look off herself.
"She was killed. Stabbed through the heart." Toshiro says, before disappearing.
Cree gasps and turns back to see where Toshiro once was.
...Madison was...what?!...
She watches as Toshiro reappears near the place Madison is, before disappearing once again.
Then, before she can blink, Toshiro is back in front of her, Madison cradled in his arms, unconscious and severely injured. He hands Madison over to Cree, taking her by slight surprise.
"Protect Yattamori until I get back." Toshiro says as he stands back.
"Uh, alright." Cree says as she nods.
She then looks down to see just how much damage she has taken from the blow. Externally, she has a few gashes along her body, a blood trail running from the corner of her mouth, meaning she has some internal damage. Though, when it does come to the internal damage, Cree can just tell that it probably isn't that pretty. Madison struggles to breath normally, seeming to go in and out of consciousness as she lies on Cree's thigh. Suddenly, she wakes up with a big cough. Her eyes seem slightly glazed as she looks around, finally landing on her after a few moments.
"C-C..ree." she mumbles, her voice cracking.
"Try not to move or speak Madison, you're serverely injured." Cree says.
Sudden snapping noises coming from nearby cause Cree to whip her head up. Her eyes widen in alarm as she sees Toshiro try to fight off the many tentacles of another Hollow that closely resembles the other that Madison had defeated easily. After a few moments, Toshiro gets his arm caught.
"To-Toshiro!" Madison screams, cringing seconds after.
"Madison, stay still!" Cree yells.
"B-But Toshiro. He's in trouble!-" Madison shouts as she sits up, or attempts to.
"And what do you think you can do in your condition?!" Cree snaps.
Madison falls silent, not enjoying being helpless. Cree looks back up to see that somehow Toshiro escaped, though the Hollow seems angrier because of it. Though, a light from below steels her attention. She looks back down at Madison to see a yellow light surrounding her midsection.
"What the heck are you doing?" Cree asks.
"I-I'm healing myself." Madison answers, panting slightly.
Cree's eyes widen.
"You can heal yourself?!" Cree asks.
Madison nods.
"But since I'm more injured then normal, it's gonna take it longer to heal. So, if Toshiro can't hold himself for the next 15 to 20 minutes, he's dead." Madison explains as Cree helps her up to lean against the tree.
Suddenly, Toshiro's pained grunt rings from behind them. They both whip their heads and gasp as Toshiro looses his sword.
"Oh, no!" Madison yells, "Toshiro, get out of there!"
But it's too late, the tentacle takes advantage of Toshiro's predicament and wraps tight around him.
"AGH!" Toshiro yells as it squeezes him.
"Toshiro!" Madison yells as she tries to stand, only to crumble to the ground.
Cree feels sweat begin to group on her face.
...What do I do?! Madison is too injured to fight and Toshiro's captured!...How can I help?!...
"...Use me...Cree..."
Cree's eyes widen in alarm as the man's voice crosses her mind.
...What was that?...
"...Cree, summon me, and defeat the Hollow..."
She turns around to find herself in a world she's never seen before. The void is a lighter green, pipes running from unknown shadows. She looks down to see herself standing over clear water, the bottom unseen.
...Cree...
She whips her head around in reponse to the voice.
"Who's calling me?! Who are you?!" Cree yells.
"Cree...do you want to save your friends...?" the voice asks.
"Yes, of course!" Cree responds.
"Then call my name, and I shall give you strength!"
Suddenly, wind blows strong from behind her. She squeezes her eyes shut, only to open them to amazement. Hanging high above her is a great, colosal, yellow serpent, it's tail wrapped tight around one of the pipes. It's body body shines like glass, though as she watches, sparks of electricity seem to spit from the snake's body, taking her by more surprise.
"Call my name, Master!" the serpent yells.
Without reason, a name nostalgic to a few days ago pops back into her head, though she once thought it lost. She turns away to face the wind, whiping her hair wildly as she feels the water beneath her feet ripple with each of her steps.
"You're my zampakutou, aren't you?" Cree asks.
The serpent doesn't answer for a moment.
"That is correct, Cree." it finally answers.
Cree chuckles, before turning back to face the snake.
"Then return, HEBI DENKOU!" Cree yells.
Instantly, the world around her disappears, returning her back to the alley. She opens her eyes to see that the Hollow, along with Toshiro (who's still captured), is staring at her. She looks around and catches a glance at her outfit, which has changed. Now, she wears a kimono similar to Toshiro, full black, though the trim is kinda like Madison's. Though, she soon forgets about it as she comes to stare down the Hollow.
"What?" the Hollow says, a little taken back by Cree.
"Strike," Cree snaps, holding her arm out to her side,
"She isn't..." Toshiro mumbles.
"HEBI DENKOU!"
Yellow light begins to spark and snap around her, surrounding everything in sight, scaring the Hollow slightly. In her palm, Cree senses the hilt of her sword morphe from the air, causing her to grin.
"Hanta-Dendou (Lightning Hunter)!" Cree yells, pulling her sword across her arm.
Suddenly, the blade begins to spark and glow, until suddenly the katana is a full out lightning bolt, reminding her of Zeus, for some odd reason. Without remorse, she takes all of the force in her arm and throws the bolt straight for the Hollow, hitting it's mask with deadly precision.
"ARGGGGGGGG! H-How?! How could...a weak brat..like you..kill me?!" the Hollow scretches, releasing Toshiro as it flails it's body back and worth in insane bends and twists.
Cree chuckles.
"Madison was right, you Hollows need to acquire some knowledge, because you're too brainless to be able to ravage as you do," Cree says as she turns away from the dying Hollow, "Now Die, HEBI DENKOU, RIMEN (Reverse)."
Without a second to spare, the lightning bolt stabs through the Hollow, coming out through the front of the Hollow's mask, flying at such tremendous speeds, to only stop only about a foot behind Cree.
"AHHHHHHHHHH!" the Hollow yells, finally fading to dust in the wind.
For a few minutes, the three don't move, until finally Cree turns and takes grasp of the bolt, the electic currents disappearing instantly as she wraps her hand around the hilt. Though, the grasp is short, as like the Hollow, Hebi Denkou vanishes. Kinda like how Madison's disappears. Her eyes widen in alarm as Madison reenters her mind. She whips her head around to see Madison still leaning against the same tree, her pained expression changed to that of astonishment.
"Madison-!" Cree starts as she begins to run towards Madison.
Suddenly, her legs give out beneath her and she watches as she fall to the Earth, the world going back as Madison's voice rings through her mind.
"CREE!"
