Death and Reincarnation (Madison Shecker's Story) pt. 41

"...Crap, crap, crap! How the heck did this happen? How the heck did Toshiro even do what he did when he tackled me as I was trying to go through the senkaimon to get back home?! Truly, sometimes I wonder about how Toshiro can get into the messes he gets himself into. It seems everytime I come over here, we get into some problem that somehow gets everyone at least a cut or two. But, now, it's not really mental or physical issues we have to deal with. Well, actually, it really is physical if you think about it. Now, I have yet another problem that I have to figure out how to fix. So, how am I gonna do this at all with all that's going on with this problem?..."

OUR WORLD

Madison's Perspective
Madison opens her eyes to see the room dark around her, surprising her. She slowly sits up to see that she was right. Around her is medical equipment and another IV is in her wrist, irritating her. She sighs as she looks around, seeing her mother and father sitting in chairs nearby. She looks away, feeling a little guilty. Her parents are suffering from her other life, worrying about her and her health. Suddenly, she remembers how she exactly got back to this world. Toshiro had fallen into the senkaimon too, so, what happened to him?! She quickly draws herself into the void to discuss with Mamori over the situation. She reopens her eyes to find herself floating in the void, back in her Soul Reaper uniform. She looks around, and notices a slight chill to the air.
"Ma-Mamori! Where are you?!" Madison yells out.
Within an instant, her zampakutou, Mamori Koudoutai, is standing above her in her released form as a Pegasus, her wings spread wide on her back as she neighs strong.
"You called, Master?" Mamori asks.
"Where's Toshiro?" Madison asks instantly, surprising Mamori.
"What do you mean?"
"Toshiro entered the senkaimon with me, and I can tell that he's no longer there! Now where is he?!"
Mamori wraps her wing around her.
"Calm down, I'm sure he's fine. The senkaimon that the gem on your bracelet creates if safe for everyone to pass through to either world."
"Then where is he?!"
Mamori sighs as she lifts her wings, then turns her head. Suddenly, she begins to glow a green color, taking Madison by surprise.
"Madison, call out Toshiro's name, and if he is truly here, he will immediately appear among us." Mamori explains.
"Uh, alright." Madison answers, before turning away from her.
Her hand goes immediately to the cross necklace around her neck and she shallows hard, beforing opening her mouth.
"Toshiro!" she screams, worried about him.
From behind her, she senses Mamori disappearing, being replaced by an familiar icy presence. She turns around to see the outline of Toshiro appearing in front of her, each second it getting more and more detailed. When finally, Toshiro is made whole, he begins to fall over, luckily to be caught by her. She quickly turns him over to check him out, and sighs, happy that he's breathing normally and seems perfectly fine. She shakes him.
"Toshiro, wake up! Toshiro!" she yells.
Moments later, Toshiro's eyelids begin to twich as he begins to wake, blinking for a few seconds before they can stay open. As soon as he sees the void around them, he immediately reacts by standing on his own, or at least, trying to.
"What the heck!? Where are we?!" Toshiro yells, not familiar with the room.
She walks over to him.
"This is the area between the Soul Society and the other world, stupid." she explains
"But why am I here?"
"You fell into the Senkaimon with me, remember?"
"Oh yeah." he remembers, "So, what do I do now?"
Madison scratches her head as she tries to think.
"Well, it looks like we're gonna need to get you a gigai for my other world."
"A gigai? Where are we gonna get a gigai?"
"Let me concentrate about that, alright, I think I've already got something for you." Madison says as she turns away from him.
"Like what?"
"You'll see." she says over her shoulder, before turning back.
She breaths deeply as she begins to concentrate, trying to remember all the details that she had thought up that one time. Suddenly, Tomas White pops right back into her mind. His blonde shagy hair and his warm, green eyes, and his perfect physical condition body.
Without warning, a bright light appears in front of her, a breeze blowing past as it gets brighter. She smiles, then turns to face Toshiro, who's surprised by the light. Madison points back at it.
"Go through there, and you'll be in my room at my house." Madison instructs.
"Your room?" Toshiro asks.
Madison nods before running over to his side.
"There's a gigai waiting for you in the other world, so go ahead."
"I don't know-" Toshiro starts, before being pushed from behind.
Madison dominates over Toshiro's weight and pushes him towards the lighted doorway. Finally, he works his way out of his grip, then turns and glares at her for a minute, before turning back.
"You're sure about this, Yattamori?" he asks as he walks closer.
She nods, smiling.
"Positive."
He smiles then turns back to face the the light. After a sigh and a moment to think he walks into the light, ultimately disappearing from the void and her pressence.

OUR WORLD
1:03 a.m.
Toshiro's Perspective
He blinks as he sits up in the bed, surprised by the now black surrondings, meaning it's night.
"Where am I?" he says as he gets up, noticing that his voicec is a little lower then before.
He gets off the bed and notices that for some reason, the ground feels farther away. Trying to get over the weird difference, he sees a door not too far away. He reaches and opens it, to see a hallway with three other doors lining the walls. He walks to the one opposite of his and opens it. From inside, he can see a mirror reflecting back at him, though the room is to dark to see his face. Bracing for anything, he finds the light switch and flips it up, revealing himself. His eyes widen in shock, for instead of seeing his regular spiky white hair and piercing turquiose eyes, the boy looking back at him has unpointy, shagy blond hair, and strong, but warm green eyes. The surprise makes him shaky on his own feet, causing him to loose his balance.
"What the-?" he starts before the lights of a car beginning glowwing in the window of the room he just came out of.
He quickly turns off the light in the bathroom and hurries back to the bedroom, closing the door behind him. slyly, he moves the curtain of one the windows so to see what is going on outside. From inside a van walks out a girl that seems maybe a year or two younger then Yattamori, and as she turns, gives him a chill when he sees their resemblence. Next, comes a big guy, probably 17 or 18, in a leather jacket, probably a jock. Then comes an older couple, probably the parents of the first two people. But, instead of closing the door to the car, the women reaches her arm into the van and apparently grabs something. Within a moment, another girl comes out, one sticking out being her curly/wavy chestnut locks. The girl looks to be the age of Yattamori, though her hair and other assesories look like those that Shecker has.
It's now that it finally hits him as he sees the girl's face. The girl is Shecker! He immediately retreats to the side of the bed that can't be seen by those looking in through the door, and tries to figure out what's going on. He thinks back to the last thing that Yattamori had told him about the lighted doorway, which luckily explains much to him. Pretty much, he's in Shecker's world, one where her family lives and her other friends. He thinks of the girl and boy who had exited the car right before Madison. The two must be her siblings, a subject of which Yattamori never really got into in the Soul Society.
Suddenly, he hears a door open nearby and a even lower voice.
"Get to bed Abigail, we all have school tomorrow." the boy says, his footsteps echoing from the hall.
"I know, I'm going, I'm going!" the girl answers, her voice higher then what he had expected.
The girl's footsteps walk past the door of the room he's in, allowing him to breath a sigh of relief. Since his eyes had now adjusted to the lighting of the room, he can tell that the room definitely doesn't belong to a boy, meaning that the room he's in belongs to Shecker.
Suddenly, more footsteps echoe through the house.
"Madison, go straight to bed, alright dear, and we'll see you in the morning." he hears the women say.
"Kay Mom, good night." Shecker's voice says, calming him slightly.
Within seconds, he hears the door to the room open. Shecker's humming of some unknown song ceases instantly, probably detecting his spiritual pressure in the room. She closes the door silently, but quickly, before turning back to face her bed.
"Toshiro?" she whispers, just loud enough for him to hear.
He peaks his head up to see her over the bed, surprising her slightly when she first sees him. It's now that he gets a real good look at her. She wears usual blue jeans and green tee with a black jacket. In the small light she now turns on, he sees she's wearing the cross necklace, a thin layer of ice covering it, which surprises him. But what takes him by surprise even more is the purple diamond shaped gem hanging from a chain connected to her pants. She climbs across her bed to be sitting right above him, looking down at him.
"Wow, I didn't actually think that would work." she says as she looks over him.
"What does that mean?!" Toshiro whispers, irritated by her false belief.
"That doesn't matter, you're safe in this world, aren't you?" she asks, smiling.
He sighs in irritation.
"Why does my gigai look like this? I thought that you were gonna make it look like me-" Toshiro whispers.
"-In this world, there aren't any boys with white hair and turquiose eyes. You want to blend into this world, don't you?" Shecker interupts.
"I guess but-"
"But nothing, now close your eyes and lay back down, I need to change." Shecker says as a slight redness rises to her cheeks.
Toshiro immediately does as told and sinks back below the bed, not wanting to make the evening more awkward then it already is.
Minutes later, the two find themselves sitting on her bed in the dark, talking up a storm about tomorrow's events. Initally, Toshiro is going to act as a new student, and Madison has made sure that he's in all of her classes. His fake name is Tomas White (really originial), and they're old friends who were spilt up after his Father moved them to Japan because of his car company. And, because of job promotion back to the states, along with being tired of biking everywhere, he moved back and is here to stay.
Yeah, that will be buyable, but, why is there an uneasiness as he lays there with Madison, who has fallen asleep?

Death and Reincarnation (Madison Shecker's Story) pt. 40

"...Finally! I'm back to being one person, and everything is normal again here in the Soul Society. God, I've missed you much that I'm behind on my Mahinahime case. Crap. Why couldn't they assign this to someone else. Seriously?! I'm getting tired of working on this, and might I say I say, it's one of the most boring things I've ever done in my life because I've already read all this information 14 years ago, and let me just say. it only entertained me then because 1, I was younger, 2, I hadn't read any of this info before, and 3, it was my first written assignment as a captain, and I was blindly excited. But, through all this, something bothers me...what time is it in the other world I live in?...

SOUL SOCIETY
Madison's Perspective
Slowly, light begins to peek through her eye lids, consciousness beginning to take hold once more. She blinks as she begins to open her eyes.
"Madison, can you hear me..?" Toshiro's voice sounds through her ears.
She looks up in the direction the voice came from to see the fuzzy image of white.
It's Toshiro.
"Toshiro...?" she says, her voice cracking.
He sighs.
"You had us worried." Toshiro says.
"Us?" Madison asks, confused.
"Yes, us." another voice says.
As her eyes finally clear up, she turns her head to see Aneko and Momo standing at the head of her bed, while Rangiku sits nearby.
Suddenly, the last thing that happened comes back to her. Yattamori, the fight, Devena, everything. But, as she goes through her memories, she notices something else. She remembers everything from before she came back.
"What happened?" she asks as Toshiro helps her sit up, "Where's Yattamori, and Devena?"
"You defeated her, remember?" Toshiro answers.
"What about Yattamori?" Madison asks.
Aneko and the others look confused.
"What about you?" Momo asks.
Madison looks away, then takes off her covers and runs into the bathroom connected to her room. She flips on the light and slowly turns towards the mirror, already expecting what she might see. She feels herself gasp slightly as she looks at herself in the reflection. In the reflection she sees herself, but with slightly longer bangs pushed off to the side, long strands of her chestnut hair hanging down in front while the rest of it hangs down to just above her thighs. Only one person that she has ever known to have hair even similar to this...it's Yattamori.
"I'm back to normal..." Madison says, not believing what she's seeing in the mirror..
She hears footsteps coming into the room.
She turns to see it's Toshiro, smiling.
"I'm Yattamori again." she says, smiling back, before turning back to look at herself in the mirror.
"You're not Yattamori." Toshiro comments.
She turns to look at him, confused by his words.
"What?"
"As you once said, Yattamori is dead, you're your own person, Shecker." Toshiro explains.
She becomes stunned by Toshiros words as she realizes that she had actually said that to him the day she had woken up after her fight with Kenta. She looks away for a minute, then begins to smile.
"You know Toshiro, now that I'm back to normal and remember everything that I knew before, to tell you the truth, I don't care. Because you know what?" Madison asks.
"What?" he asks.
"I am the same girl, just..with a new twist. So, call me Yattamori!" Madison yells as she tackles Toshiro, accidentally, knocking them both to the ground, causing everyone in the room to laugh, even Toshiro himself.
Slowly, she props herself on the bottom of her palm, still laughing hisarically as she does. When she opens her eyes, she finds Toshiro laughing too, making her even happier then before. As he now opens his eyes, still chuckling as he stares up at her.
Suddenly, for each, a awkward memory returns. For Madison, it is the accidental kiss they shared when Toshiro helped after she lost control while flashstepping. For Toshiro, it is the time when he had been, well, enchanted by the fake Yattamori. The two begin to instantly blush, and Madison quickly gets off of him as fast as she can being only in night gown. Luckily, they do it gracefully enough that Aneko, Momo, and Rangiku don't notice, seeing as how they're kinda still laughing. When finally everyone calms down, Toshiro and Rangiku step out while Momo and Aneko stay to catch Madison up with her assignment as she gets dressed in her captain's attire.
"So, basically, you think that Mahinahime was killed all those years ago?" Aneko asks.
"Pretty much, I mean, wouldn't you expect her to come back as soon as all the rouge Soul Reapers were captured?"  Madison asks as she pulls her sash around her stomach.
"I guess so, but records show that she had a sercet power that could bring down 20 men in one second. It seems she be able to overpower them easily." Momo comments.
"I wonder what her power was." Aneko comments.
"I looked through some records to see if she had a zampakutou, but nothing came up. I guess she just wasn't taught." Madison says.
"That would make sense, considering she's the royal princess." Momo agrees.
Madison smiles as she ties the bow at the bottom at the bottom of her tied sash. As she looks down at the bow, her vision suddenly become blurred.
"What the-?" Madison starts as suddenly she no longer sees the room she is in.
...Madison, what is wrong?...
Mamori's voice sounds through her head, the first since she had been separated. The calming voice made her relaxed, happy that she isn't entirely alone.
"Mamori, what's going on?" Madison yells.
...you are having a vision. Remember? You, as a time psychic, have the ability to see the past and future...
"Oh, yeah..."
Without warning, a strong light takes hold around her, until finally she finds herself in what appears to be a palace from feudal times, something that she has only seen in books and TV shows.
...Where the heck am I?...
Out of nowhere, a blade peaks from the corner of her eye, her instinct to perry taking over as another sword hits the coming blade. She feels the sword come again and again at her own, until finally, she finds a point. Without mercy, she swings her arm, curves her blade around the other swordsmen's, and flings it from their hand, it landing about 10 feet behind her. She sticks the sword at the man's neck, prepared to strick and finish him. But, without warning, he begins to clap, and smiles.
"Great job, your higness, you are becoming a master at wielding your zampakutou faster then anyone I have ever seen in my life. I do not see why you keep this secret from your parents, they would be amazed by your talent-" The girl at the other end of her blade praises.
...Your highness..?...
"Don't you ever speak of this with my parents!" she hears herself snap at the girl, surprising her.
Madison begins to freak. She wasn't the one that said that!
"But, Princess-" the girl starts.
"No, Kiara. If my parents were to discover that I wield a zampakutou, and even know shikai, they would disown me, if not send me to the streets. My parents made it clear to all of their children that they did not want us to gain the power of a Zampakutou, for they think that it will make us somehow wicked or dependent on their powers. But, I realized soon enough that they did not do as they said it would. I have not only gained intuition on how to protect myself, but, when I become Queen, I believe my knowledge and experience of these swords will actually help me become a greater leader then my parents." Madison hears herself explain, "But, until the time that I take the throne of the Soul Society, you must keep your lips shut, and your mind hushed."
Madison can't believe what she's hearing. Parents? Princess? Future Queen of the Soul Society?! It's clear now. She isn't just in the memories of anyone, she's in the memories of the one that she has been looking for the last 14 years.
Princess Mahinahime.
As she watches the girl solemly nod, Madison tries to make sense of why she is seeing this.
...So, she did have a zampakutou. But, for some reason, her parents didn't want her to, so she never told them and kept it hidden away. That would make sense to why the zampakutou's existense was never recorded. But, still, why am I able to see this, I shouldn't be able to see into her memories, from this long ago...
"Y-Yes, my lady." the girl answers, "But, my lady, what is your zampakutou? What does it do?"
Mahina sighs and turns towards her, holding out her blade horizontal to the ground. As she does so, Madison tries to see the guard and hilt.
...If I see the hilt, I might be able to find out if she's disguised as a soul reaper nowadays...
"My zampakutou I guess you could say, controls that of which controls all of us." Mahina states.
...What the heck is that supposed to mean?!...
"The name of my sword is..." Mahina begins, before the world around Madison begins to contort and the image fades.
...NO!...
Within a second, Madison finds herself starring back down at her sashes' bow.
"Madison...?" Aneko's voice asks, sounding worried.
"Damn it! I didn't see it! And I didn't hear it either, I so close!" Madison snaps.
She looks up at that moment to see Momo and Aneko starring at her, surprised to hear her say the word "Damn", considering she never says stuff like that. It's now that she realizes that they have no idea what she is talking about. She grins awkwardly.
"S-Sorry. I uh, had um, a-" she starts.
"Vision?" Aneko finishes.
Madison becomes surprised by the fact that Aneko actually knows what happened.
"H-How did you-?" Madison starts.
"You're a time psyhic, meaning that you probably have the ability to see the future, and second, I've been you're lietenant for a while now, I think I've got a gist of what your abilities are by now." Aneko explains, smiling, "So, what did you see this time?"
Madison looks away, then sighs.
"She had a zampakutou..." Madison starts.
"What?" Aneko asks.
"She had a zampakutou! What part of that is not easy to understand?!" Madison yells, irritated.
"Who had a zampakutou?" Momo asks.
"Mahinahime!" Madison answers.
"Mahinahime!? That's impossible, it wasn't in the records-" Aneko starts.
"The Soul King and Queen didn't want their children, including Mahinahime, to have the ability to use a zampakutou, so they forbid it. But, Mahinahime accidentally learned about her own and began training with someone without her parents' knowledge. That explains why information about her zampakutou was never writen down. It's because other then maybe one person, no one knew about it." Madison explains, "But unfortunately, the vision didn't last long enough for me to see the guard and hilt or hear her say it's name, so we're still at a loss."
"How did you see all that? Our abilities don't let us see other's past experiences without at least owning something of their's." Aneko asks, stunned by Madison's explanations.
Madison's eyes widen in surprise, before she looks away, trying to find the reason herself.
"Who knows, the important thing right now is that we got a new piece of information that can help us in the future with this case." Madison says as she walks away, opening the door to Toshiro's surprise.
"Madison? What happened?" Toshiro asks as she walks down the hall.
"We're going to go see Grandpa Yama." Madison says.
"Madison, wait." Toshiro says as he stops her.
His actions surprise her.
"Toshiro, what's wrong?" Madison asks.
"I was thinking about it, and I was wondering, haven't you been here for about six days?" Toshiro asks.
Madison is surprised by his question, at least until it finally sinks in about why he said that.
Six days here is about 15 hours back home in her world. Meaning, she's missing school and is probably right now sitting in a hospital bed with her family wondering why she won't wake up!
"Crap!" Madison yells as she begins to run out.
"Madison, wait!" Toshiro calls after her as she exists the building.
Suddenly, in mid pace, she feels a sight pressure around her right wrist, stopping her in her tracks. She looks down to the surprise of a chain bracelet around her wrist, with a purple diamond-shaped charm hanging from one of the rings.
"What the-?" she starts.
Without warning, the charm begins to glow and shines a bright light, blinding Madison and the others for minute. When they can see again, Madison finds a senkaimon like void ahead of her, white light shining from within.
"What's that?" Aneko asks.
"Seems to be a senkaimon or something." Madison says as she walks closer to it.
Suddenly, Toshiro's arm stops her from walking closer, surprising her.
"Toshiro, whay are you doing?" she asks.
"Be careful, you don't know where it leads to." Toshiro warns.
Madison looks back at the portal, not believing in Toshiro's words. Suddenly, from inside the portal, the familar whiney of a horse sounds out, surprising her.
"Mamori.." Madison says as she steps out from behind Toshiro, surprising them.
"Madison, what are you doing!?" Toshiro calls after her as she walks towards the senkaimon.
"It's ok, this senkaimon is a connection between this world and the other world I live in. I'll be fine, don't worry." Madison says as she goes to put her hand into the void.
Suddenly, she feels herself tackled from behind.
"Madison, stop!" she hears Toshiro yell.
But, it all fades as the white light engulfs her, sending her back to where she belongs.

Death and Reincarnation (Madison Shecker's Story) pt. 39

"...Peace in death is what we all stride to have when our days on this Earth end. For me, I guess the way I just did this is ok. I mean, sure, I wish I could of had a boyfriend or gone to senior prom. Heck, I wish I could of gone to college and get married. But, oh well, I guess I can't change what has happened now, considering that I'm probably dead. But, again, I have to wonder, if I'm dead, then 1, is Toshiro dead? 2, Did anyone find us? and 3, If I'm, luckily, not dead, then what the heck is going on outside, where, at the moment, I'm unconscious...?"

SOUL SOCIETY
Squad 1 Training Grounds
Toshiro's Perspective
Slowly, the light begins to come back into his eyes, seeming to awake after being stabbed. As his eyes begin to clear, he looks around to see what has happened. He can't hear any sword-fighting nearby, meaning that someone is either dead, or somehow, Devena got away. He turns and gasps as he sees Shecker lying right beside him, new cuts and scraps dug into her skin.
"Shecker!" Toshiro says as he sits up and pulls her over to be laying on her back.
He shakes her, getting no response, only little grunts in pain, the only thing that she did that alerted that said she is alive. He notices that she's hold her side, the same place that he had seen her be stabbed earlier. He grits his teeth in guilt, and holds her head up his left arm, causing her to slightly wince in pain.
"Sorry Shecker, if I hadn't just attack out of emotion, maybe you wouldn't of lost-" Toshiro starts to apologize.
"...She didn't lose." a familiar voice says from behind him.
Toshiro turns to see Yattamori standing behind him, no longer underneath Devena's influence.
"Yattamori, h-how are you-?" Toshiro asks.
"When Shecker defeated Devena, she was able to separate me from her before Devena disappeared..." Yattamori explains.
Toshiro looks away, then grins after a moment.
"I'm glad you're alright, but, if not healed soon, Shecker's going to-" he says as he begins to pick up Shecker.
"Wow, wow, calm down. She'll be fine, I mean, she was the one who healed you." Yattamori says as she stops him from picking Shecker up.
Toshiro's expression becomes that of shock.
"She did what?"
"You haven't noticed yet? The fact that you're no longer bleeding?" Yattamori asks, surprised herself.
Toshiro feels around the scratch to feel absolutely no pain lining the red mark. He looks down at the panting Shecker and smiles.
"It seems that I underestimated you, Shecker. You must have a lot of power just like your counterpart." Toshiro says, "Thank you."
"She used Bankai."
"What?!"
"It was her only choice, if she hadn't, she would of been killed."
"She had enough power to even evoke Bankai?"
"That's right."
Toshiro looks away.
"She really is you. Just in different skin."
Yattamori grins.
"Oh, Toshiro, you are such an idiot. She isn't me."
Toshiro looks surprised by Yattamori's comment, and looks up at her.
"I died 14 years ago, I no longer exist. Shecker just uses my name so that you and others won't treat her differently then you used to treat me." Yattamori explains, "She isn't Madison Yattamori, she's Madison Shecker."
Suddenly, something that Madison had said before being spilt in two comes back to the front of his mind.
"...I'm not that happy go lucky girl who you joked around with when you were a kid. I'm Madison Shecker. A 14 year old who just wants to draw and hang out with friends and be a normal teenager! Yattamori died, I might look like her and have her memories, but I'm not her!..."
He looks down at Shecker, and notices something glinting under her jacket. He moves it back slightly to find the black cross pendant that looks exactly like his squad's symbol resting peacefully on her scarlet stained shirt. The symbol though itself wasn't what surprised him, it's the clear film of bluish ice covering it, shining in the coming and going sunlight as the clouds passed over.
"But there is one thing that has never changed..." Yattamori says as kneels at Toshiro's side.
"What's that?" Toshiro asks.
Yattamori smiles.
"The fact that you are my best friend, meaning that I'll do everything I can to keep you safe..." Yattamori answers, "...I proved it 14 years ago, and today, Shecker has done the same exact thing."
"Yatta-" Toshiro starts.
"Enough with this talk, we need to heal her before she looses any more blood." Yattamori interupts as she puts her hand over Shecker's wound.
Slowly. A yelllowish glow appears from her hand, the skin beginning to reappear over the stab wound. She looks up at Toshiro.
"Well, c'mon, help me."
Toshiro looks surprised by her comment.
"How can I help?"
"This type of healing is very painful on the person," Yattamori explains, before jesturing her head towads Shecker, "Look."
He looks down as Yattamori instructs to see Shecker wincing and her closed eyes twiching in pain, small grunts escaping her mouth each time skin tugs as it heals itself. Suddenly, she gasps, a slight scream escaping from her lips. Without thinking, he pulls her closer, holding her beneath his chin.
"Shecker, calm down. Yattamori is healing you." Toshiro says.
He looks up at Yattamori to see her face taken on the look of surprise.
"What?"
"How did you do that?"
"Do what?"
"Right now, she should be at least struggling in your arms from the pain, but..." Yattamori starts.
Toshiro looks back down to see Shecker lying still in his arms, no longer wincing or grunting whatsoever. The pained look on her face has vanished, her expression now that of a calm slumber, as if she had just fallen asleep in her bed.
"She's totally calm."
Yattamori grins and chuckles.
"It seems that there's more to you then I ever thought Toshiro. The ability to calm her when she should be in the greatest of pain."
Toshiro grins.
"It's not really an ability. Ever since we were younger, you've done this."
Yattamori looks surprised.
"Seriously?"
"Yepp."
"Hmm. Who knew."
"Now it's my turn, what happens now that Devena is defeated, and you're free?"
Yattamori sits there and thinks for a moment.
"Before I say this, you must understand what exactly the Bijuu were trying to do. You see, the reason they wanted to separate us was because they thought that when they did, you would side with the one that resembled the orginal Yattamori the most, being myself. The other, they thought, you wouldn't trust as well and would initually believe that she housed Devena from the beginning. But, that's what they got wrong. Instead, you took to both of us, and never thought either of us could house her." Yattamori explains, "But, they had a plan B just in case that didn't happen. When Shecker had shot her arrow towards me and ended up going towards you, that was actually not planned, just bad position at the wrong time. Though, they used it against her. A bijuu with the ability to control someone movements made her look like Devena was trying to take control of her body, when actually, she didn't house her at all, I did. Then, when you both were far away from me, Devena took the oportunity to come to the surface and make a surprise attack, which in the end Shecker ended up shielding you from. The rest you already know."
Toshiro looks down at Shecker.
"So, they did it all, just to make me think that Shecker was the enemy when she wasn't. I feel like such an idiot."
"In short, they wanted you to kill off both of us by killing the pure Madison. That was their intention since they separated us. Though in the end, their plan failed, and Shecker saved us both."
Toshiro smiles.
"You still haven't answered the initail question." Toshiro says, "What happens to you two now?"
Yattamori sighs.
"All done." Yattamori says as the glow disappears from her hands.
"Yattamori, answer me."
Suddenly, she begins to glow a light lime green.
"Wha-What the-?" Toshiro starts.
"Because Devena and I shared my body, I was pretty much destroyed. But my memories, will becomes those of Shecker's, and she will take my place as Yattamori. I, in essense, will just become a name of a girl that passed long ago, disappearing in all."
Slowly, she begins to become seee through.
"Yattamori, no..."
"Don't worry Toshiro, I'm not really going anywhere. I'll still be right here, I'll just be Shecker, not Yattamori." Yattamori reassures him as she fades.
Toshiro smiles.
"I've always missed you, Yattamori." Toshiro comments.
"See you soon, Toshiro..."
Suddenly, Yattamori's body diminishes into lime green mist, hanging there far a moment in the air. Then, instantly, the mist surronds Shecker, seeping into her body. Her body glows, wind surronding them as she still glows. Toshiro covers his eyes and waits until the breeze fades, slowly opening his eyes. He looks down and gasps. Shecker no longer looks like Shecker. Her appearance has changed back to that of Yattamori's, everything about her exactly the same. The only difference from before is that she still wears the cross necklace around her neck, the only clue that shows she's the same person from before. Toshiro grins.
"Welcome back, Madison, welcome back..."
