Death and Reincarnation (Madison Shecker's Story) pt. 20

"...Ok, I really don't know what to say at the moment. I mean, these people want me to challenge the best student of the day to a duel. Dude, I just woke up from the side effects of a duel, and you know what, I really don't feel like going back to squad 4, even though Captain Unohana is nice. But, still, somewhere, I keep hearing myself, trying to push me to fight. And, this feeling gets stronger with every minute I can't answer my squad. So, unless I want to be completely corupted by this feeling, I'd probably say yes fast. Then again, if I do that, I have a feeling that it's going Kenta's snear I 'll be seeing for about five minutes, clashing blades with my own..."

3:15 p.m.
Toshiro's Perspective
Yattamori and Toshiro sit down quietly under the shade of a pine tree, who's needles never fell completely off. He takes a thirsty sip of his water, then wipes from sweat from his brow.
"I told you we'd find something to make you useful." Yattamori says as she bites into a fork-full of salad.
He turns towards her.
"Yeah, having to dodge invisible attacks. That makes me feel so happy." Toshiro says sarcasticly.
Yattamori laughs, then looks back over the hill, to see that Aneko and Rangiku are on their way to lunch with their part of the group. Toshiro looks over too, and grins. It seems that Aneko was making those squad members just as tired as he felt. Almost all of the members were sweating or had bottles of water close to their sides, clutched tight in their clamy palms. As Toshiro skims more, he comes upon Kenta. The guy was barely panting, and only had about a drop of sweat of his forehead. He then looks over at Yattamori, whose looking at Kenta too. Yattamori gives a unpleased frown, then turns back to her salad.
Within minutes, Rangiku and Aneko join them, and they begin to talk about the day's events.
"It took our squad about an hour before all of our group could create barriers. Most were just getting hand signs wrong, but some just didn't understand how to release it after the hand sign. Although Kenta was a big help." Rangiku says.
"How was he a big help?" Yattamori asks.
"You should see how talented that guy is. He was able to create a barrier on the first try, and it was almost as powerful as your's. Anyway, after he acomplished the training task, he began to go around and help others who were having trouble." Rangiku explains.
"Is that so?" Yattamori answers as she picks through her salad again.
Toshiro turns towards her and sees that Yattamori was probably thinking the same thing he was.
Kenta was trying to look good so to impress other members. But, why would he want other members' praise? Something seemed to be questioning, though he didn't know exactly what yet.
"Oh, and we got a good idea for the end of the day, today." Aneko says as she takes a bit of her rice ball, interupting Toshiro's thoughts.
"What's the idea?" Toshiro asks.
"Well, we thought that at the end of the day, the best soul reaper of the day should square off against Captain Yattamori in a duel to-"
Yattamori suddenly did a spit take as she heard the information.
"What?! Why do I have to duel someone?" Yattamori says as she wipes any persperation from her face.
"Well, so that the others can see what they missed and to see just how good the best member can do. Besides, we're not asking you to go all out, we just want to you to clash swords some. That's all." Rangiku answers.
Toshiro understands, Kenta must of heard Aneko and Rangiku talking about the idea. So now, he's trying to look like he's the best so that he can get a shot at Yattamori.
"Why are you so against it?" Aneko asks.
"I'm not against it, it's just-"
"Then there's nothing to argue about. We're doing it." Rangiku says.
"And who made you Captain?" Toshiro asks.
"No one. It's just that we already told some members, so we have to do it." Rangiku explains.
"What?!" Yattamori says, infuriated now.
Aneko looks away as to not get involded, but Yattamori pulls her in anyway.
"You told them that I was doing it without even asking me for my authorization or permission? That's not like you at all Kocamura. Since when do you, of all people, go behind my back and say I've agreed to something I know absolutely nothing about? That's completely uncalled for, Lietenant!" Yattamori yells.
Toshiro looks at Yattamori with surprise. Yattamori never yelled at Aneko, even if she was irritated. And she especially never called her Kocamura or Lietenant. She was the type that liked to stay on a first name basis with people she was friends with. So calling Aneko by something different was completely out of her character. Toshiro watches as she picks at the last bits of her salad, apparently deep in thought over something. As she stares down, a flash catches his attention. He blinks in disbelief. He then second guesse his self then turns so that the others couldn't see why he was worried.
He had barely seen it, but he knew he hadn't been imagining it. As Yattamori was staring, a flash of blood red scheened over her eyes before it diminished into nothing. The same color that Yattamori's eyes had been in her nightmare, inwhich she lost control and slaughtered him.
Toshiro suddenly jerks as someone touches his shoulder.
"Toshiro, what the heck is wrong with you? Are you alright?" he hears Yattamori say from behind.
He turns back to see Yattamori looking at him, her eyes back to their warm hazel selves. She has a worried look on her face, as well as Rangiku and Aneko. He sighs and grins.
"I'm fine, you just scared me. That's all." he answers.
"I scared you?" Yattamori says.
Toshiro nods. Yattamori begins to giggle then laugh happily, her chuckles erasing all of Toshiro's worries for the time.
"What's so funny?" he asks.
"Well, you're always so mature and serious. It's laughable to think that me touching your shoulder could make you flinch or become frightened." Yattamori says as she smiles.
Toshiro looks surprised, then grins too.
"Well, less talking, more eating, we have a new crop of members to train and I don't feel like doing it on an empty stomach." Yattamori says as she opens a bag to reveal five pudding cups and spoons, apparently for the four of them.
"Yes ma'am!" Rangiku says as she grabs one from the bag.
Aneko smiles and takes another, followed by Yattamori.
Toshiro looks over at Yattamori as she takes the top off her cup. He was always blown away by how Yattamori could change the conversation or feeling in a room within moments. A trait that had drawn people to her since they were kids, especially him. It was that trait that had really made them friends. And he had no regrets about it. Finaly, he takes his own and begins to happily eat the pudding as it slid nicely down his throat.
These were times Toshiro rarely ever got to enjoy, so he treasured every minute of it. Ever since Yattamori's death, he had been disconnected and depressed, blaming himself for Yattamori's demise. But, now that she' returned, it's like the dark veil has been lifted off him and he can finally enjoy himself again. But, the scheen of red he'd seen stayed firm in his mind, reminding him that moments like this, don't last.

Madison's Perspective:
8:55 p.m.
Madison sighs as she teaches a member how to erase his spiritual pressure. Although he kew the fundimentals, this guy was as noticable as a neon billboard on the highway.
"Captain?" a voice says from behind.
Madison looks up and turns around. She's gasps quietly underneath her breath. It's Rikuto, her 5th seat, staring warmly at her.
Madison feels her cheeks become red.
"Uh, y-yes?" she asks.
"Can you help me with me. I still can't become fully invisible. Just translucent." he answers, seeming to be embarresed by it.
"Sure, follow me." Madison says as she walks away from the focusing member, Rikuto following close behind.
As they walk together, she notices Toshiro watching them from a few yards away. As soon as he sees her notice him though, he turns away and walks in the opposite direction. She rolls her eyes then returns to walking, stopping a few feet away. Toshiro for some reason never liked it when she hung around attractive guys. Like, she knew he didn't like her like that, and he wasn't a jealous type to top it off. So, the fact that he was against it really buged her. As she thought on, she remembers why she was in that area in the first place. She then turns to Rikuto.
"Alright, now, let's see. Try to become invisible." she says.
Rikuto nods, then puts his hands together in the usual sign. Perfect. Slowly, she watches as Rikuto slowly fades until she can see through him almost entirely. Then, nothing. Problem.
"Ok, I think I see what's happening here."
"What?" he asks, still translucent.
"Well, for one, you're pouring too much energy into the 1st stage. This leads you to not have enough spiritual pressure to become completely invisibile. If you start with less the steadily increase your energy, you should be able to do the move perfectly everytime." Madison explains.
"Oh, ok, let me try again." Rikuto says as he becomes fully visible.
He makes the sign again, then, slower then the last time, he becomes steadily invisible. But, this time, he becomes fully invisible, no trace left.
Madison smiles.
"Perfect! There's no spritiual pressure or anything. You did it!" Madison says as Rikuto becomes visible once more.
"Thanks Captain, I couldn't of done it without your help." Rikuto says, blushing slightly.
"Oh, you didn't need my help, you just didn't know howto control your energy, is all. And another thing, don't call me "Captain". We're friends. Just call me Madison or Yattamori, either one will be fine with me." Madison says.
Rikuto smiles down at her. Madison feels herself begin to blush. Rikuto is about three inches taller then her, and he's only 167, or 16. something, making him in her comfortable dating range. Rikuto's smile gleams crystal white, and his cute dimbles enhanced it ten-fold. His deep, dark blue eyes shine like saphires, polished and glinting in the December moonlight. As the wind blew, his ebony bangs shades his eyes, breaking her trance. She looks down before Rikuto can notice her red cheeks.
"Alright, let's go help others so that-" Madison starts, but stops as she trips over exposed root from a nearby tree.
She closes her eyes, but realizes within moments that she's falling into Rikuto.
"Madison, are you ok?" she hears Riyoko say from above as she clutches his kimono.
She nods as she looks up at him, her cheeks probably beet read. She gasps quietly as she sees his cheeks are red as well. Slowly they rise, staring at each other. Madison then feels the cold chill of deja vu. The memory of only the morning before when she fell into Toshiro washes over her mind. Suddenly a sinking feeling fills her gut. Signals in her brain keep sending the same messages.
This isn't right. You don't like him. Take your hands off him. It doesn't feel quite as nice as...
She doesn't let her mind complete the last sentence. Another sinking feeling fills her mind as she's finally able to look away from Rikuto. Toshiro just happened to of turn back to see them in each other's arms. His face was ash white, as if he had just been hit in the gut. She immediatly takes her arms off Rikuto and begins to walk towards him.
"See you later Rikuto. Help some others who are having trouble." she calls over her shoulder.
"A-Alright. See you...around." he calls after her.
When she reaches Toshiro, he's begining to turn away. She grabs his wrist and turns him back to face her.
"Toshiro, I know what you're thinking. And that's not what happened, I swear." she says.
"I know that."
"Then why-" she begins to ask.
Toshiro looks up at her, and his eyes tell another story.
"Toshiro, what's really bugging you?" she whispers into his ear.
"We did an anomnious vote of a few dozen from your squad to see who you would fight against tomorrow." Toshiro says in a whisper.
"Ok, so who am going up against?" she asks.
"I don't think you should do it. You just woke up from a coma yesterday Madison, it's not safe."
She steps closer, her nose almost touching his.
"Who?" she says.
"It's Kenta. They all voted for him."
Madison becomes as ash white as he is. Of all the people in the world, he was the only one she believed could actually do her damage. Physically and mentally. And one other factor loomed in her mind. Kenta wants to be the Captain. Then he wants to be Head Captain. But there's a few people standing in his way. And she was definitly one of them. So, to get rid of her, he would have to do one thing.
Eliminate her.

Death and Reincarnation (Madison Shecker's Story) pt. 19

"...Ok, who would of guessed that of all people, I would be the one training people older than me to become invisible and create barriers out of thin air? Well, that can be answered easily with, well, no one. But that won't stop me. I'll try my hardest to explain it to my squad. There's three problems though. For one, I'm pretty bad at explaining things. But who knows, maybe my smart tounge will return like it did during my return speech. Though, there's the other thing bothering me. Since Toshiro told me that Kuchiki was right about what happened at our duel, I've felt off. Like something is keeping me from thinking clearly. And last, it's Kenta. I just have a feeling that something bad will happen, and it'll probably involve him and his idiodic plan..."

SOUL SOCIETY
Madison's Perspective
Madison opens her eyes suddenly to pale light coming through the white shades in front of her ceiling to floor wall of windows. She blinks as few times before she realizes where she is and her breathing begins to slow. She's laying in her oversized queen-sized bed, which looks like something from out of a Faerie book, like the rest of her bed chamber. Unlike the rest of her home, which had been tricked out to look completely modern, her bedroom is what she imagines a princess would live in. Dusty pink walls, lavish furniture, a large crystal chandelier matched with two wooden fans which hang lower from the ceiling, not to damage the beautiful light fixture, an extravagant and extra comphy bed that was sprinkled with at least 10 normal sized pillows and intricately designed green, pink, and brown shaded bedding that must of come from somewhere in Europe, and a master bathroom which is at least 25 feet by 15 feet in size, marking it as being absolutly huge. Madison looks passed her toes through the sheer pink fabric that lined the upper part of her bed, starting from the beautifully decorated top that clinged to the wall above her, then transcaded down the sides of her bed then cut off gracefully only about six inches from the floor, making the bed look even more old-fashioned, to see more modern stuff.
Directly across from her was a great flat-screen TV and media center, which seems to hold only Madison's favorite movies and games, including all the latest Twilight movies and Michael Jackson Wii game, which she wanted for Christmas in the other world. And, all seasons of her favorite show, Ghost Adventures, is there, inwhich Zac, Nick, and Aaron look exactly the same, causing her to become a little creeped.
Suddenly, Madison's thoughts swich from realty TV to her situation at the party the night before. After learning what she had done to Kuchiki, Madison didn't enjoy herself. Even Ukitake and Kuroaku noticed. In fact, it was there idea that Madison should become invisible and flee the party that helped her get out of there without having a grueling conversation with Toshiro.
She still couldn't believe she had done all that without knowing. And the image of herself that was plastered in Toshiro's mind was something that she was starting to wish she hadn't peeped at. She almost didn't reconize herself. She was something she hated, she was the person that hollow had been.
Her thoughts then turn to the nightmare which had woken her.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
She had been walking a road with Toshiro, talking about what to get to eat at the next tea hut.
"Hey, are you gonna eat your tea cake?" she asked.
"I won't buy it if I won't eat it." Toshiro answered.
"Then will you buy me one?"
"Buy one with your own money, don't mouch off me."
"Aw, c'mon, I forgot to bring enough, and I'm starving."
Then, suddenly, the world had become dark and the sun itself hid behind the dark light of a solar eclipsed moon. Toshiro and Madison stepped closer together, then Toshiro put one arm in front of her, trying to protect her by keeping her a little behind him, making her a little annoyed, but glad. Suddenly, high pitched laughter pierced the silent air and a purplish black lightning bolt seemed to scar the sky, causing Toshiro to immediatly react and pull them into the safety of the trees' shadows.
"What the heck's going on?" Toshiro said.
Then, something sharp and swift slashed at Madison's back, causing her to fall into Toshiro in pain.
"Yattamori!" Toshiro yelled as he knelt to his knees, Madison reacting with a shout or two of anguish.
Immediatly, Toshiro began to inspect the wound, cradled her in his arms, then, flashstepped to a safer area of undergrowth. He sat her down to lean against a sturdy bush as he tried to inspect her wound more. As he goes to touch it, a energy began to seep from the gash. Toshiro gasps as Madison leans over in pain.
"Madison!" Toshiro said as he turned her to face him.
Madison looked up to see Toshiro staring at her in worry. She began to say something when suddenly the darkness engolfed her completely, and all control over her body vanished. Madison watches sub-consciously in horror as her body begins to move on it's own and she stands, Toshiro helping her. Madison tries to cry out to Toshiro to get away, but he doesn't hear her,
Madison then took to seeing herself from outside her own body, and watched as her chestnut brown hair became white like snow and her hazel eyes began to become blood red and the whites of her eyes turned black. Toshiro backed away from her as she began to laugh delivlishly in a tone not even Madison knew to be her own.
"Yattamori..." Toshiro said.
"Hahahahaha. Have fun in Hell." Madison said in a high pitched voice, one that's not her's, as she materialized Mamori Koudoutai over her head, the hilt held strong in both hands.
"NO! STOP!" the detached Madison yells as her body thrusts her sword down at full force and speed.
Toshiro's eyes widened in fear and desperation as he had no time to draw his own sword and Madison's began to slash deep into his skin from his left shoulder down to his lower abdominen.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!" detached Madison screamed as Toshiro fell to the Earth, probably dead.
Detached Madison fell to her knees next to Toshiro, anguish taking over as she began to feel tears forming in her eyes. She looked over at Toshiro, as was surprised to see he was still alive, even conscious.
"Toshiro!" Madison yelled as she crawled over to be right next to his head.
Toshiro seemed to hear her and looked her directly in the eyes.
"Madison...why?" he whispered, his voice cracked.
"Toshiro..Toshiro I'm so sorry! Please, forgive me.." Madison said as tears began to pour from her eyes.
Toshiro's eyes widened as her tears somehow didn't pass through his skin. Madison didn't notice, she was so appalled with herself and her large sobs made it so that that she couldn't see.
Suddenly, she hears high-pitched laughing. She turned, her eyes still filling and spilling out tears, and gasped. She herself was the one who was laughing. Her blood red eyes burned with the intent of death. Madison's body stopped then, and turned towards her detached self and looked up.
"You'll be next." herself said as she drew Mamori out once again.
Detached Madison stumbled over her own feet, her eyes wide in horror, as she tripped and looked up at her body, her mind lost to the wind as her instincts told her to run away, but kept her frozen in place. Madison's body laughed as she raised the sword above her head.
"Bye Bye." her unreconizable voice said as she she slashed the sword down.
"AHHHHHHHHH!" she screamed bloody murder.
"Madison, NOOOOO!" Toshiro screamed from a few feet away.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Then, nothing, or at least she couldn't remember what happened next. That was when she woke up, fright filling everything.
Madison looks over at a clock. 8:14 a.m. She had about 45 minutes to get ready for her training day with some of the members of her squad. She quickly got out of the horror of her bedroom and raced to the gigantic bathroom, and took a shower.
Minutes later, she walks down her grand staircase to go to the kichen. As she nears, she hears talking and some laughter, then an unmistakable voice.
"Will you two shut up! It's not true!" Toshiro yells from around the corner, apparently irritated about something they said about him.
Madison smiles, happy to hear his voice. Her dream still had her kinda shaken, but hearing him talk normally made the pain ease a little. As she walks in, she finds Rangiku and Toshiro in a glare-staring contest at the large long, but thin dark wooded dining table while Aneko seems to be putting cut apples, fresh strawberries, peeled banannas, and freshly squezed orange juice, pulp taken from the looks of it, into a new looking blender. Aneko looks up and smiles.
"Good Morning Captain." Aneko says as she turns back the island in the middle of the gigantic kichen to grab a cup of ice.
Toshiro's trance immediatly cracks and he turns to face her. Madison grins to see Toshiro looking normally.
"Hey Yattamori, how are you holding up?" Toshiro asks.
"Great, still a little confused, but the freaking out part has passed." Madison says as she takes a seat directly across from Toshiro next to Rangiku.
Toshiro grins, seeming to be relieved.
"Good, so are you ready for today?" Toshiro asks.
Madison begins to answer, when she's cut off by the high pitched screech of the blender's probeller blades. She turns to see Aneko chilling behind the blender as it blends all the fruit together into a pink slushly liquid. Within a minute or two, Aneko stops it and begins to pour out the drink into four cups, one for each of them apparently.
"Hey, how did you guys get into my house?" Madison asks.
"Well, we thought that you wouldn't want to wake up to a big empty house, so I used the spare key I had to let us in so that you would wake up to see someone. Happy?" Aneko explains as she sets the drinks down, then sits next to Toshiro across from Rangiku.
Madison smiles.
"Of course I'm happy. I'm the type of person that likes to be surronded by others, so I feel perfectly comfortable."
"Good to hear, now drink up. We have a big day ahead." Toshiro says.
"We?" Madison says.
"Did we forget to tell you? Well, the Head Captain asked if we would help you during your training lessons today. And of course, Captain said yes." Rangiku says as she takes a smoothie from the bunch.
"What about your own squad?" Aneko asks.
"Our squad is doing training with Squad 1 today, so the Head Captain is pretty much baby-sitting." Toshiro says.
"Nice." she comments.
"Now quit with the small talk and drink your smoothies you two." Aneko says as she takes a sip of hers.
They each nod and reach for a cup. By accident, they go for the same one, and their hands touch. They each gasp under their breath as Madison's dream quickly plays back for both of them. She sees Toshiro eyes widen in shock and horror at the scene shown to them. Suddenly, they feel the lietenants, shaking them, pulling them from the the dream world. Madison blinks and finds herself still reaching for the smoothie, as Toshiro was doing the same. Toshiro looks over to her, and Madison immediately takes the other smoothie and begins to sip quietly, so to not look him in the eye.
"Madis-"
"I'm gonna go ahead and head over to the training grounds. I'm sorry Aneko, I'm not hungry right now." Madison says, cutting off Toshiro as she gets up and scampers out of the room.
She runs away, hearing Toshiro call after her. She doesn't listen though, she runs out the front door and flashsteps several times before anyone can catch up.
She was scared, scared that if she got into a conversation like that, she might just loose it and begin bawling her eyes out. Although, it was already too late. Tears begin to fly off the side of her cheeks, and the wind pulls back her bangs from her face, reveiling the eye she hid behind it, to be filled with even more then the other.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Toshiro Perspective
Toshiro, Rangiku, and Aneko flashstep to try to catch up with Yattamori. Toshiro is worried. From the looks of that vision Yattamori had accidentally shown him, she was terrified she was goning to lose control of herself again. And the fact that in the vision she had slaughtered him, well, that must of made Yattamori feel uneasy when he saw it. He looks down over the barricks below, seeing other soul reapers starting to converge around them. They all had the curl lined trimming on their kimonos, meaning they were all from Yattamori's squad, probably on their way to training for the day. Suddenly, a hand jerked him from his thoughts and he turned to see Aneko holding his wrist as she flashstepped faster, with them tagging along.
"What the heck are you doing?" Toshiro asks.
"I just spotted Yattamori ahead." Aneko answers.
Toshiro gasps quietly and looks around. Aneko was right, Yattamori's spiritual pressure was getting stronger, and as he looks ahead, he spots Yattamori's pink haori as she flashsteps far ahead.
Without thinking, Toshiro frees himself from Aneko's grip and begins flashstepping quicker then her.
"What the-?" Aneko says, apparently surprised that Toshiro was able to pass her at full speed.
Within seconds, Toshiro is only yards behind Yattamori. Yattamori looks back, and gasps as she sees him gaining on her. She quickly turns back and begins to go faster. But, Toshiro stays on her tail, unbelievably. Finally, Yattamori wips out her fastest speed yet, and flies at least 40 yards ahead, then disappears to the right.
Toshiro's eyes widen in shock, as he tries to key in on her again. When he turns right, he discovers that they were only a half mile away from the training grounds, and that Yattamori was only about 10 yards ahead. Toshiro grins.
"Yattamori!" Toshiro yells.
Yattamori looks back at him and her expression becomes one of shock.
"How the heck are you still behind me?!" she yells back at him.
Suddenly, Toshiro does a quick side flashstep, leaving Yattamori confused. She turns back to see Toshiro right in front of her. She gasps in surprise. Toshiro takes hold of her wrist, and begins flash stepping faster then before. He senses his eyes beginning to glow as he pulls Yattamori to his side. He couldn't believe it. She was trembling.
"Toshiro!" she yells.
He looks down at her, and she immediatly shuts up. Toshiro was now worried. Yattamori's hazel eyes were lifeless, filled with pain and guilt.
"Madison, you've got to get your head back on your shoulders."
"What the heck is that supposed to mean?"
"I know that you're freaked out by that vision you had, but you can't worry about that right now. You have squad members who are counting on you to help them become stronger. How can you do that if you can't even use flashstep to the extent I know you can because of a bad dream?" Toshiro explains.
Yattamori didn't reply. She was speechless. Aparently something he had said had clicked in her mind, becuase she no longer was trembling.
Suddenly Yattamori broke his hold and began flashstepping faster then ever. She then turned back towards him. Her eyes were livelier then ever, flashing happy shades of brown and green.
"Thanks."
 Toshiro smiles.
"No problem."
Yattamori laughs, then flashsteps to be at his side. She takes his left hand and suddenly another vision came up.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yattamori's body went to slash detached Yattamori, but a force repelled the attack.
Her body staggered back, a twisted and angry snear took shape on her face. Toshiro looked at Yattamori's detached form to see her glowing lime green, which always happened when she released her spiritual pressure. Then, the light consumed detached Yattamori and injured Toshiro, and when she was reveiled, she was in her shikai form, her sword now a bow n' arrow, drawn back, aimed at her own body, and injured Toshiro had vanished.
"What?!" the high-pitched voice in her body screamed.
Yattamori's detached form stood up and opened her eyes, glowing a light blue, light Toshiro's did. This triggered Yattamori's swan-like wings to open and begin to flap. Soon she was above her body, which was snearing at her in alarm and in fury. Yattamori drew the arrow back further, signaling she was about to release.
"You'll pay for that!" she yelled at her own body.
"This can't be, I took complete control." the high voice yelled as her eyes widened in horror.
"10,000 ARROW SLICE!" Yattamori yelled as she released her arrow.
Suddenly, arrows shot from all sides at her own body. Toshiro looked in aw. Yattamori had never mastered that technique before, seeing how it was so hard to control 10,000 arrows at once. But, she had actually done it this time. It was historical.
"NOOOOO!" the high-pitched voice screamed as the arrows pierced her skin.
Then, something weird happened. The arrows went straight threw Yattamori's body, not leaving a scratch. But when they came out on the other side, a being was stabbed all over and forcefully slammed into a tree behind her, pinning her.
Yattamori's body fell to the ground, a spirit no longer inhabiting it. Slowly her hair turned back to being chestnut brown and Toshiro could sense her eyes turn back to normal under the closed lids. Slowly, the detached Yattamori disappeared, her soul returning to her body. Within moments, Yattamori was awake and staring at the soul that had been controling her body. Toshiro looked closely and gasped as he saw that the being looked exactly like Yattamori, except everything was opposite. Her eyes were blood red and the whites of her eyes were black. Her skin was snow white, matching her hair and white kimono. Her haori was dark green, the exact opposite of Yattamori's light pink one. And the copies of her choker, which was dark green and and light red, and the necklaces Toshiro had given her, which was also light red, were exact opposites as well.
Suddenly, the being began to move and looked furiously at Yattamori, who was surprised herself..
"You might of been able to get rid of me this time, but don't think you've won the war yet." she squeaked inbetween gasps for air.
"What do you mean?" Yattamori asked.
"I mean that this is just the begining!" her opposite said in her high voice, beginning to to fade.
As she laughed histaricly, she completely vanished, leaving Yattamori alone in forest.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Suddenly Toshiro blinks to find himself flashstepping once again, Yattamori leading them as they were only yards from the training grounds.
"Yattamori-"
"It's ok, I know what happened. But we can talk about that later. Right now, we have Soul Reapers to train." Yattamori says as they land on the hill overlooking the grounds.
Toshiro looks down to see 24 different soul reapers talking down below, streching, and practicing. He looks around to see some that looked familar. But one stood out in the pack. Kenta.
Toshiro remembers how Yattamori acted around him, and it made him a little on edge. He knew something sour was between the two, he just didn't know what.
"This is Aneko's and Rangiku's 1st group. They'll be helping them with barriers. You and I are going to the group on the other side of that hill, where we'll be helping with invisibility." Yattamori explains as she points to a hill directly across from them, breaking Toshiro's train of thought.
"Toshiro, are you alright?" Yattamori asks.
He turns towards her, to see her expression calm, but a little worried. He grins.
"I'm fine. I'm just worried I'll be useless."
Yattamori seems surprised, then laughs as she playfully slaps Toshiro on the arm.
"Don't worry, we'll do something to make you useful. But I can't gurantee it will be pleasant."
Yattamori then turns away and flashsteps around the grounds to the next hill, which was about a half mile away.
Toshiro smiles. Yattamori was back to herself. Her happy-go-lucky, humorous self. But, when her dream enters his mind, he begins to worry about her losing it again.
He shakes his head, thinking it would never happen, then starts to flashstep, when something catches his eye. He looks over to see Kenta, staring at him from below. Toshiro holds his breath. He then remembers the abilities Aneko had told him Kenta had. Invisibility, create barriers, move things with his mind, quickly heal wounds, and...
Toshiro's eyes widen.
Kenta could read thoughts.

Death and Reincarnation (Madison Shecker's Story) pt. 18

"...How do you say sorry to someone you don't like? Or to someone you believe deserved what happened to them? Well, let me tell you, it's not easy. But, you have to do it anyway, just to keep the peace among commrads. Man, if this was the other world, I would of kicked them in the shin while no one was looking to get even with 'em, but seeing as how I'm a captain, that's a definite no no. But, when they call you out on something that you don't remember doing, that's when you have every right to think that person has either lost it or their imagining things. But, when your best friend tells you that you did it, along with other people, that's when you start to question yourself and your own sanity, just like me..."

SOUL SOCIETY
Madison's Perspective
Aneko and Madison walk through the gates to the 1st squad training  grounds with the rest of their squad. Inside, the captains and lietenants of the other squads talk and laugh at jokes not yet known. As she enters, the people turn, the lietenants who hadn't seen her yet stare, wide eyed and surprised.
"Yattamori!" a familar voice yells.
Madison turns to be tackled by Rangiku, hugging her close.
"Hey Rangiku, nice to see you again." Madison says as she laughs.
"Rangiku! Get off her!" Madison hears Toshiro yell.
Rangiku frowns as she lets go of Madison and turns towards Toshiro.
"And address her as Captain Yattamori, remember you're-"
"Oh, be quiet Toshiro. She can call me whatever she wants." Madison says as she playfully punches Toshiro.
Toshiro gives her a irritated stare as the Head Captain walks over, his lietenant close behind him.
"Captain Yattamori, glad to see your back to being fashionably late." the Head Captain says.
"Sorry about that. Aneko and I lost track of time."
"It's alright, you're not that late," the Head Captain says as he turns around, "Now lets all congradulate and welcome back Captain Madison Yattamori to the 13 Court Guard Squads."
Clapping insued after, most coming from her loyal squad. Madison smiles and bows in return.
"Now let the party officially begin."
As soon as he said that, Madison's squad disperse and walk away to talk in little groups and surrond different food stations.
"Captain, would you like something to eat?" a new squad member asks.
Madison turns towards her and grins. The girl is very tall, about 6' 7" at the most, and has medium, white-blonde hair that is kept in a bun. She wears her kimono normally and her zampakutou rests firmly at her side, like many of the soul reapers. And, unlike Rangiku, this girl looks shy and a little like a book worm.
"No, I don't need anything, but what's your name?"
"I-I'm Natsu Haneltou, regular squad member M-Ma'am." she studders.
"Nice to meet you Natsu. How long have you been in the squad?"
"Uh, A-About eight months Ma'am." she answers.
"Wow, you haven't been in the squad for too long."
"No, but I have learned a little more about my abilities." Natsu says.
"Really? What are your abilities anyway?"
"Invisibility, m-moving things with my mind,  pyschic abilities, and healing, Ma'am."
"That's cool. So, it seems that I'll be seeing you in the morning." Madison says as she begins to turn.
"Um, Uh, yes Ma'am." Natsu answers.
Madison smiles back at her as she now stands completely facing the other way of Natsu.
"Great, I can't wait. See you tomorrow if I don't get the chance to talk to you again." Madison says as she waves back at Natsu.
"Y-Yes Ma'am."
Madison stops in her tracks.
"Oh, and one more thing."
"What?"
"Don't call me Ma'am. It makes me feel as old as my mom. Just call me Yattamori. It more my age."
Natsu looks surprised, her eyes wider then before. But then she smiles and salutes Madison.
"Yes, Yattamori." Natsu says as Madison begins to walk away.
Madison smiles, and still walks on through the crowds of different people. She looks up and reconizes more and more of her squad members, and a few of the lietenants. Suddenly a hand grabs her wrist and stops her from walking on.
"Madison...is that really...you?" a very familar voice says from behind her.
Madison turns her head and to see the person and gasps. It's Momo Hinamori, one of her best friends who grew up with Toshiro and her in the Junrinon. Her eyes widen as she turns all the way around.
"Momo, you're a lietenant? Man I thought that you would be a captain by now. How the irony." Madison says as she giggles.
Momo shocked expression turns to a relieved smile as silent tears roll down her cheeks.
"Madison!" Momo says as she pulls Madsion into warm hug.
Madison looks surprised and silently gasps as she hears Momo begin to quietly cry.
"Momo..." Madison whispers.
"I thought...I thought that I would never see you again. And that...that you were gone for good." Momo says inbetween mild sobs.
Madison grins and begins to hug Momo back.
"I'm sorry I made you think that. And I'm sorry I scared you and made you so sad. But, I couldn't let Toshiro die. I had to save him."
Momo gasps quietly and stops sobbing.
"He had too much ahead of him to indure and experience. I couldn't let that be taken away from him. And especially like that."
Momo pushes her away a little to be looking at her in the eyes. Her eyes are wide with surprise, and Madison knows why. She almost never talked like a grown-up around Momo. And, whenever she did, Momo would always go into a tyrad about she was growing up too fast or that Madison needed to enjoy her childhood more. But, she had never left Momo speechless. Then, Momo grins.
"You two sure have grown up a lot in the last 14 years. I mean, before you died, you were so free-spirited and independent. So laid-back and collected. That's probably why I was so taken back by your death. It seemed like someone like you could never die in a situation like that. And Toshiro's reaction was completely heart-renching. He barely showed his face for a month after your death. The first time I actually saw him after your death was after he became a captain."
"What are you talking about?" Madison asks.
"Well, I first started noticing at your funeral."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
December 10, 1996
Momo Hinamori, 3rd seat of Squad 5, stands to the left of the casket that holds Madison's body. She quivers as mourning squad members cry over Madison. Slowly, Momo begins to hear another voice crying. She turns her head and gasps. Toshiro, who was standing on the other side of the casket,  was on the verge of sobbing, something that was almost impossible to believe was possible. Momo walks over from her side of the casket to his side and stops in front of him. Toshiro looks up at him through his tear-filled eyes.
"Toshiro, are you ok?" Momo asks, even though she already knew the answer.
"What do you think? I'm crying like a baby over my best friend who's dead because of me. Why in the world would I be ok?!" Toshiro says to her.
Momo steps back a little. Toshiro looks over at Madison's body, then shudders. Her eyes fell on Madison too. Her look was serene and peaceful. There was a scratch on her face, but other then that, she looked like she was in the perfect shape. Well, except for the gash through her heart that was hidden by her snow-white kimono.
Suddenly Toshiro gritts his teeth and his hand clenches into a fist around something in his hand. Momo looks down and her eyes widen. It's Madison's necklace, the same one Toshiro had given her when they were kids.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
December 31, 1996
Momo, now a lietenant, walks down a deserted pathway to the Squad 10 Captain's barricks. Toshiro had become a Captain about three days ago, the month aniversary of Madison's death. Momo thinks back and tries to remember seeing Toshiro after the funeral, and comes up with a blank. Toshiro had stayed to himself ever since, training from dawn to dusk on his new bankai powers, or so she heard. Momo stops as she sees Toshiro walking alone down the other way in his new captain's haori, apparently in thought.
"Toshiro!" Momo yells as she runs up to him.
Toshiro looks up at the sound of her voice and Momo gasps quietly. Toshiro's appearance had changed a little. His bangs had been swept over more to the side and his expression seemed to be set in an uniterested frown. Some circles were lining his eyes, meaning he hadn't been sleeping well lately.
"Hello Momo." Toshiro answers in a depressed tone.
"Congrats on becoming Captain! I'm so proud of you!" Momo says, smiling.
"Thanks." Toshiro answers, his tone and expression unwavering.
"So what test did they give you?"
"They didn't exactly give me a test."
"What do you mean, all nominees for a Captain's position must undergo some type of test to see if they qualify."
"They put me up againest a few members from Squad T.P. and I defeated all of them with bankai."
"That's not exactly a test."
He held up a folded piece of paper, a few drops of blood on a corner. The front read "Head Captain", probably who it was addressed to. Momo took it from him and read it aloud.
"Dear Head Captain, If you're reading this then that probably means I'm dead and someone found this in my kimono or something. Anyway, I wanted to make a last request of you and the 13 court squads. I would be eternally grateful if you would give Toshiro the place he deserves as a Captain if he has not already achieved it. I know that it would take time to look through his files, but as a Captain, I believe he is fully qualified and should become one immediatly. On the test, I would wish that part be negated, or made easier. Toshiro has defeated me many times in simulated battles, proving that he is greatly qualified. Please, this is all I ask of you from the other side. Made the rest of your life be full-filling. Tell Toshiro I wish him luck in his duties. Sincerly, Madison Yattamori, Captain of S. Squad T.P."
Momo stands there, motionless for a moment after finishing the last words of the note. She looks over a Toshiro, who's turned away a little and has his hands balled in fists.
"They found it in her kimono while preparing her body for the funeral." Toshiro says, looking away from her.
Momo gasps when she looks up. Toshiro was trembling.
"Toshiro..."
"The last thing she wanted...was for me to become...a captain." Toshiro says.
He clenches his teeth.
"Why did she do that?!"
"I think she did it so that even if she did die, she would still be able to help you acheive Captain status." Momo explains.
Toshiro looks over at her in surprise, then turns back and begins to walk away.
"That may be true, but it still doesn't change one thing." Toshiro says.
"What's that?"
"The fact that the person that knew me best is gone. And it's all because of me." Toshiro says quietly as he walks off.
Momo gasps.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PRESENT
Toshiro's Perspective
Toshiro walks around a few groups of talking people, looking left and right for Yattamori. It had been nearly a hour since he had last seen her, and she wasn't the type to play games with him, especially at social events. Finally he comes to stand next to a fountain and another food table. He sighs, irritated by not finding his friend. Suddenly, someone catches his eye. He looks over to a figure passing quickly through the groups. He looks closer and imediatly reconizes the person, and it's not good. It's Byakuya Kuchiki, and he didn't look happy. Toshiro looks towards where he's trotting to and gasps. Hinamori and Yattamori were walking down memory lane straight ahead of Kuchiki. Toshiro immediatley begins scampering towards them too, but doesn't make it in time.
"Captain Yattamori, so nice not to see you bleeding head to foot like the last time I saw you." Kuchiki says as he interupts Hinamori's and Yattamori's conversation.
Yattamori turns towards him, irritated.
"And it's nice to see you without a sideways nose."
"There was nothing wrong with my nose!" Kuchiki says, irritated apparently.
"Really, hmmm, well it seems the doctor fixed it." Yattamori says as she turns back towards Hinamori.
Kuchiki clenches his hand tight behind his back.
"I didn't come over here to quabble with you. I still want to know how you got all that power during that last part of our duel."
Yattamori expression turns to a confussed frown.
"Duel? What duel?" Hinamori asks, apparently out of the loop.
"Captain Yattamori and I had to duel to see if she requalified for her old position. She passed, but not without drawbacks."
"Drawbacks?" Hinamori asks.
"She was in a coma for a week."
"What?!" Hinamori gasps.
Yattamori looks away.
"Ok Kuchiki, that's enough." Toshiro says as he finally reaches the awkward group.
"Captain Hitsugaya, don't you also want to know what that power she used was?"
"What the heck are you talking about?! What special powers?" Yattamori says.
"After I had knocked you into the ground, you sat up and began glowing a werid purple color intermixed with your usual lime green glow. After, you punched me off my feet, then sent me flying 50 feet in the air, then spiraling back down to Earth at at least 100 miles per hour. I don't know how you were able to gain that much power, considering how critical your injuries were. You shouldn't of been able to stand up, not to mention punch, flashstep, kick, and whaever else you did to me."
"What? I don't remember anything like that. What did happen to you, anyway?" Yattamori asks.
Toshiro's eyes widen. Yattamori was serious, she really didn't remember the last part of Kuchiki's and her battle. She must of somehow blocked it out, not that he blamed her. From what he saw, she had been absolutlely brutal towards Kuchiki, wiping hits left and right before she sent him plumeting towards the ground faster he did her. And her eyes, they were cold and lifeless. Kinda like when she was possessed by that hollow when she first got back.
"You've got to be kidding. You used something to enhsnce your abilities or something, didn't you?" Kuchiki says, breaking Toshiro's train of thought.
"Ok, I think you've lost it. I didn't do any of that. Now give it up Kuchiki." Yattamori say, serious.
"Madison..." Toshiro says.
Yattamori looks looks surprised to hear him saying her first name, as well as Hinamori. She then looks over a him.
"What Toshiro?"
"Madison, I'm sorry to tell you this, but that did happen."
"What?!"
"Everything that Kuchiki just said really occured at the training grounds."
Yattamori looks away as her eyes widen in shock. Toshiro then turns to Kuchiki.
"Kuchiki, I believe that you've messed with Madison's head for long enough. If you'll please, I would wish that you would leave this group at once."
Kuchiki snears at him, then walks off, without saying a word. Toshiro watches him until he disappears behind a few groups of laughing squad members. He sighs to himself.
"Toshiro..." he hears Yattamori say.
He sighs as he turns around towards Yattamori and the others. When his eyes catch Yattamori, his eyes widen and he gasps quietly. She's shaking, holding herself, her eyes wide in confussion and fear.
"Toshiro, what did I do? I don't...I don't remember any of it." Yattamori says.
Toshiro watches as Hinamori puts her hands on Yattamori's shoulders, trying to calm and comfort her. But, she doesn't stop shaking, heck, she doesn't even look up. It's like Yattamori was in her own world, questioning herself and her actions during that duel with Kuchiki. Toshiro sighs once more and walks over to stand right in front of Yattamori. She doesn't react. He glances over at Hinamori, and she gives him her worried look. Something of which he thought he wouldn't see for a long time now that Yattamori was back. But, ever since her return, weird things had begun to happen, and from the looks of it, they weren't gonna end anytime soon.

Death and Reincarnation (Madison Shecker's Story) pt. 17

"...My squad. Secret Squad Time Pyshics. Man, I can't believe I'm becoming nervous again. I was there Captain for a year before my death and was never nervous whatsoever. But, since being reincarnated has taken away that, as I've said before, I'm going crazy with butterflies. I mean, I know that you're supposed to feel like this, but before I died, I didn't. Dang, sometimes I wonder how I even got passed this fear, even with Toshiro's help. Well, looks like he'll have to do it all over again. But right now, that's not important. What's important is how I make my second first impression on my squad members..."

SOUL SOCIETY
Madison's Perspective
Madison looks outside as she sits on a new, modern, white love-seat, leaning on a medium, fuzzy, teal pillow. Aneko sits on a larger white sofa next to her, clutching one of the three cylinder lime green pillows. They hadn't talked much since Madison explained how she had returned, what she had been doing for the last 14 years, and why she could hear Toshiro talking a world away about her death that he didn't want her to remember.
She turns her head to look around the room. The walls were a bright lime green, her favorite color, trimmed with white modern molding and touches of teal, her second favorite color, here and there. A white globe chair sits in a corner next to a modern side table where a few books, a phone, and a couple sketch pads sit, lighted by a modern multi-light, multi-colored floorlamp. The opposite wall is a complete media center, with a elaborate flat-screen TV, multi-drawer containment untits and a few game systems that are also in the the other world, including the Wii and Xbox with Kinect. Directly across is a curly-lined, multi-colored, rug, the same design of her kimono. A modern glass coffee table sits behind it, a few drinks on it and the sofa that Aneko was sitting on was behind that. Two of the four walls are floor to ceiling glass windows, looking out over the wooded back of her private barricks, while the other two, opposite to where she was sitting, are solid walls. One is the one the media center hangs on, while the other are where the two doors to the rest of home are. That wall has a whole cut out which is a window into the kichen, a miniture bar on this side of the window with two white swivel chair with black velour cushions sitting there, probably so that you can eat and watch the TV at the same time.
Suddenly, there's a knock at the front door. They both get up and go to the door. Madison enters the great light blue entry hall first. She looks up. A large chandelier hangs beautifully above, an accent to the grand marble staircase opposite of the front door, which remined her of the staircase at Pittock Mansion, a place she had visited with her mom while visiting realitives in Portland. Madison smiles as she passes it and turns towards the door.
She then stops in mid step and looks at the whole in the door. Madison sighs. Now she regretted punching that hole in the door when she lost it for a moment. Aneko nuges her towards the door, breaking her gaze. She nods and opens it. It's the Head Captain.
"Hello Captain Yattamori." he says.
"Hi, Grandpa Yamma." she replies.
"It's time to meet your squad. If you'll just follow me." he says, turning back.
Madison nods and turns her head towards Aneko, who nods as well. They then walk out the door, and Madison begins to get butterflies.
A few minutes later, they're outside the Squad T.P. meeting hall. Madison looks up at it and remembers the last time she did this. Unlike now, she had been totally confident and very strong about what she said. Now, she felt dizzy and could barely speak above a whisper. Aneko notices her nervousness.
"Hey, you ok?" Aneko asks.
Madison turns towards her.
"Yeah, I'm just nervous is all. When I was reborn, I wasn't born with the exact same qualities. I've never been fond of public speaking." Madison explains.
"Don't worry, just tell your story again, then say a couple things you're going to do to make the squad better, it's simple." Aneko reassures her.
Madison smiles weakly and turns back towards the doorway. She sighs and takes a step closer. As she puts her hand around the handle, she hears the shushs of the people inside who apparently noticed her presence. She pulls the door open and walks in, greeted by many gasps and whispering voices. She looks over the members. She immediately reconizes many of the members. Haruna Kigaro, Miyoko Jintu, Haru Timyae, Rikuto Eimetai, they all grin and look happy to see her again. Her eyes pan over the group, seeing happy faces and those in aw. She stops at one familar face that catches her attention. Kenta Shohen, her current 4th seat, doesn't look pleased or sad. To tell the truth, it looks like he's actually smirking at her for unknown reasons that she didn't want to find out.
Aneko pushes her gently on the back, telling her to keep moving. As she comes to the center of mini stage, everyone becomes quiet while some still gasp and talked about in whispers barely audible to her ears. She turns and looks over the members again, then takes a deep breath, silently.
""Hello. I'm happy to say that I'm your new Captain. And, if you haven't realized it yet, my name is Captain Madison Yattamori, the same person who was captain 14 years ago." Madison says smiling.
The gasps grew once again and eyes became wide.
"But that's impossible! Captain Yattamori died 14 years ago, how could you be alive now?" a man's voice rang in from back of the room.
Madison grins as even more gasps ring out.
"It's true, I did die 14 years ago, but the day after I died, I was reincarnated in another world with no memory of this place. As I grew up in that world, memories of this world began to come to me while I slept. I thought they were just dreams, but on the night before my 14th birthday in that world, many of my memories returned to me. And using my zampakutou, Mamori Koudoutai, I was able to create a passage between that world and this one, allowing me to return to take back my title. But, it wasn't easy, let me tell you. It just so happened that when I was returning to this world, a Hollow with a very wide intelligence had somehow regenerated my body from the grave and was fighting my best friend within me." Madison explains.
Many gasp at her. Madison's eyes drift over to the doorway and finds that someone arrived without her knowing. It's Toshiro. He grins and nods his head at her. Madison does the same back and turns back to face forward.
"And that friend of mine, if you haven't already discovered it, the person I was fighting against was Captain Toshiro Hitsugaya." Madison confesses, pointing at Toshiro.
The members gasp.
"Captain Hitsugaya, is that true?!" Miyoko yells from the fourth row.
Madison's eyes fall on her and she smiles. Miyoko, the over-the-top 6th seat, had barely changed. Her straight, red hair was pulled back into a bob on the top of head and her bangs cut off right above her eyebrows, making her look like one of the secretaries she had seen when she had visited the Capital Buliding in Washinton D.C. a few years ago with her family.
Toshiro nods. The Head Captain gasps, along with most of the squad.
"As the Hollow was about to attack him, I reentered my body and tried to take control. It took a few minutes, but I was able to drive the Hollow out and destroy it with my shikai. After a few hours of reminising with him, we returned to the Sereitei and went to the Head Captain later that next morning. Luckily, he believed it was really me and allowed me to reenter as a nominee for being captain of this squad. But, he wanted to test me. So, he had me go up against a fellow captain to see if I still had the same abilities as I did in the past. And, my opponet was-"
"You were the one that batteled Captain Kuchiki and won?!" Rikuto yells, standing up from his seat.
Madison glances down at him. Now he had changed big time. Rikuto's once short straight black hair is now shagy, and grown out to passed his ears. Bangs fall handsomly over his kind blue eyes, and a single hoop earring hangs from his left ear. His arms had more muscle to them and she was pretty sure he was sporting a six-pack under his kimono. And his zampakutou is no longer around the back of his waist like Rangiku's, it now hangs at his right side, which was very unique, seeing how it was usually worn like that on the right side. Madison quickly turns back before she begins to blush.
"Yes, that's correct. But, it did come with a price. I was asleep in a coma for the last week, but don't worry, I'm fine now." Madison explains.
Many oos and aws come from around the room, and many smiles begin to gleam on the faces of the squad.
"Now that I've explained what happened, I want to discuss my hopeful acomplishments. I've learned that since I left, this squad has been on few to no major missions and that many of you haven't advanced in your abilities. That's something that I can't let continue. So, starting tomorrow, we'll be doing group training for certain types of abilities, starting with those who have the ability to become invisible. You will meet in the squad's training grounds. Lietenant Kocamura will be working with you. While you're training, I'm going to take the one's with the ability to create shields and barriers and train with you." Madison explains.
"But, some of us have both of those abilities." a members yells.
"That's why we'll be switching at 3:00 p.m. And to make it fair, we'll start at 9:00 a.m., go through to 3:00 p.m., eat a late lunch and relax for an hour, then switch and continue training from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Then, you'll get six hours of training each." Madison continues.
The members look at her in ah, seeing as how they hadn't done something like that for a long time.
"What about those who don't have those abilities?" Kenta asks, stepping up from the side.
Madison turns towards him. His blond, military cut hair has grown out to look like her brother's type of hair style. A style kinda like Zac Efron's and Justin Bieber's combined. His gray eyes are still untrustworthy and mysterious, but strong and determined. His kimono's sleeves are cut off at the end of the shoulders, like Lietenant Hisagi's are, showing off his muscluar arms. And his dagger of a zampakutou is drawn close at his side, like Riyoko's is.
"Those who don't have those qualities will have the oportunity to train at a later date." she explains.
"But that's not fair, why should those people go first." Kenta asks.
"It's because those two abilities are the hardest to master, so if I give them training first, they'll be able to train their abilities while I'm training others with other abilities," Madison answers, "Besides that, why are you even asking? You have those two abilities, so it doesn't even effect you."
Kenta smirks, causing Madison's temper to rise.
"I just wanted to know, seeing as how many of the members don't have those abilities." Kenta says.
Madison rolls her eyes and turns away from him.
"Anyway, I have good news too." she says.
Madison smiles and raises her index finder up, representing a number one.
"Tonight we're going to a party that the Head Captain is throwing in our honor. It'll be lots of fun and I hope I'll get to meet some of the new members."
The squad members clap, apparently happy that they would be going out.
"All the captains and litenants will be there, so be on your best behavior. We want to show the rest of the 13 court guard squads that S. Squad T.P. is back and better then ever."
The squad members raise from their seats and begin to clap, hoot, and holler happily. Madison grins, then notices something. The butterflies were gone. She was no longer afraid or nervous. Her head was held high and she felt strong. This is what she really was like. And she liked it.
"In two hours, we'll be heading over to the Squad 1 barricks, so be ready to leave." She yells.
"Yes , Ma'am!" all the squad members answer at once.
She smiles and turns to leave, when suddenly a strong spirtual pressure stops her dead in her tracks. She turns back to see it's Kenta, smirking at her.
The world around around them disappears, leaving them in a purple void. Madison gasps as she looks around the area, then looks back at Kenta as he starts laughing devilishly. She snears at him, as he still laughs on.
"You've become weaker Captain. Or is it that I've become stronger? Probably both. Now, lets get something straight. I'm the rightful captain of this squad, and I'm not going to let your reappearance stop me from acheving my destiny. I'm going to change this squad into the most powerful squad in the 13 court squads. Then, I'll take my place as the new Head Captain." Kenta says, pointing at himself.
"Your destiny isn't to take my place or the Head Captain's Kenta. And I swear on my families' blood that I'll stop you from acheving your goal. That's a promise, and I don't break my promises, understand?!" Madison yells back at him, stepping closer.
"Now, I suggest that you don't make an outburst like that again, or I'll have you removed from this squad and put in a jail cell. And, if you leave me no choice, I'll force you." Madison says as she walks up to stand right in front of him, seeing that she's about 10 inches shorter then him.
"I'd like to see you try, Captain."
Madison begins to glow a lime green color, releasing part of her spiritual pressure. Kenta falls to his knees and grabs at his throat as her eyes begin to glow blue. Slowly, the light surronding them, along with the light in her eyes. Kenta is on his hands and knees, breathing great breaths, trying to get air back into his lungs. He looks back up at her, anger burning in his eyes. Madison gets down to his level.
"Don't try me Kenta. I have more power then you think. You're on your hands and knees panting because I released only 18% of my spritual pressure."
His eyes widen.
"18% percent!? That's it?!"
Madison nods and stands back up.
"Now, release our minds!" Madison says as she makes a sign with her hands.
Within moments, Madison and Kenta are back in the gathering hall, staring at each other. Only seconds had gone by here, but they had been in the void for at least three minutes. She begins to walk away again, and smiles when she hears him growling at her from behind, like a dog with ravies.

Aneko's Perspective
Captain Yattamori and she relax in Yattamori's bedroom sitting area. Aneko looks over at Yattamori, to see she's standing behind the tan, plush, L couch with built in side table she is sitting on, looking out the ceiling to floor windows that line the sitting area's back wall. Aneko looks around the modern room. The once tan walls had been painted a light green color, running along the lines of Yattamori's favorite color, lime green, and had modern works of art hanging around with pictures taken before her death on the wall to her right. And, a no door entry way lead to Yattamori's bed chamber, which was elegant and modern at the same time. The wall right in front of her was hidden from view by a large TV and antique case that took up most of the wall. Then, the wall to her left housed a door that lead to Yattamori's gigantic walk-in closet, a computer base, and a hole that was a little reading and relax nook. And above her was a large crystal chandelier that lit the entire room, including the multi-colored rug on the floor beneath her.
Aneko looks back at Yattamori to see her smiling.
"Why are you smiling Captain?" Aneko asks.
Yattamori turns towards her and looks surprised, then grins.
"Just thinking about stuff."
"Like what?"
"Well, I feel happy and relieved for one thing." Yattamori says as she over the back of the couch to sit on the other end.
"Why?"
"Because, I feel like my own person here." she explains.
Aneko looks confused.
"I don't get it."
"In the other world I live in, I have a family. There's my mom and dad, who've been married for about 20 years. Then I have two sibblings, one sister, one brother. My sister, Abigail, is 12 years old and a little bit of a weirdo at times. And she's a total whiner and a little bratty if she's not in the best of moods. But then, she can be really serious or absolutly hilarious, a truely remarkable imaginator and a awesome companion. I mean, sometimes I wish I wasn't related to her if she was doing something that was not age-appropriate. Though, then again, it's that inocence that makes her imaginative and the person she is, so, I guess it's to be expected.
Then, there's my older brother, Tyler. He's going to be 17 soon. He's a total jock, and underneath, trust me, he's stronger then he will ever comment. He's got a bold personality and can be a little bit of a idiot at times, especially when messing with Dad or playing with our dog, Hoosier. Though, he can be a little tempered and can be mean at times, especially if he's irriatated. I don't blame him, he's just the type of person that likes to be right, which gets him in trouble with Mom and Dad all the time. But still, he's smart, fun, a little over-powering, and an awesome big brother."
"Your family sounds very happy and fun. But you still didn't answer the question."
"In that world, I'm not much of a jock like my brother. Because of that, I've kinda been second fiddle. Mom and Dad spend a lot of time on Tyler. Going to his games, volunteering at his school, and who knows what else. Another thing is that since I don't like sports all that much, I've never been really close to Tyler. I'm closer to my little sister cause we aren't that far in age and we like some of the same things. Tyler and I are complete opposites. He's sports, I'm the arts, He's strong physically, I'm strong academically. I love art class and hate gym, Tyler loves gym and hates art class. Tyler's popular, I'm around the middle. That, and the fact he's almost never home. He's either at school, soccer practice, football practice, playing basketball with friends, with his friends or his girlfriend.
Anyway, while Tyler was preocupied with all his sports and friends, I really wasn't living up to his standards. Then, I finally struck gold when I discovered my talents for art and school. So, I was finally able to feel like my own person. But, it faded quickly, seeing that Tyler was getting better and better at everything he tried. So, I decided that I should go out for a type of sport too. The problem was and still is that I'm not very good at any sports. Then, I finally found something I was good at. There's this thing called color guard in the high school where I'll go next year. It has to do with dancing and flag work. I auditioned and was one of the best there. Everyone thought that I would get in. But, when they gave out the names, mine wasn't there."
"I'm so sorry, that must of been hard for you." Aneko says.
"Actually, I didn't really react negativly, I was disappointed, and a little frustrated, but not angry. I was sad though, because I was the only one from my school who didn't get in. That just made me feel like a complete loser, seeing all the girls that would go to school bragging about making it, leaving me with absolutly nothing but the solid fact that I didn't cut it.
And, it wasn't even that that made me feel like crying."
"What was?"
"It was that I finally thought I found something that I was good enough at that would take me out of the shadow of my big brother. Everyone who knew Tyler never called me Madison, they called me Tyler's sister, the kicker's sis. I thought that if I made it in, I would be my own person, that I would finally stack up to Tyler. But, in the end it wasn't meant to be."
"That sounds really complicated."
"I guess it is if you're not experiencing it for yourself. But, within a couple hours, I was completely fine and decided that I should stick to what I'm good at. Academics, writing, the arts, and pursue my hopes and dreams to become an anime artist and create my own top-ranked anime. And, then I discovered this world and my old memories. Here, I'm strong and powerful. People look up to me and ask me to be their friends. It's everything I've ever wanted and more. I'm so glad to be back that I can barely keep still!" Yattamori says as she smiles.
Aneko looks surprised, then smiles.
"I'm glad you feel that way, now let's go." Aneko says as she stands up.
Yattamori now looks surprised.
"Go where?"
"Where else? The party to celebrate your return, of course!" she says as she pulls Yattamori out of the chair.
"Oh yeah, man I spaced that out big time." Yattamori says, laughing.
Aneko smiles back at her as they keep running, then looks away, worried. Yattamori thought of this world as a getaway from her family in the other world. Especially from the shadow of her older brother. But, when the time might come for her to choose one of the worlds, would she choose the other?
