"...Apparently I've been put on house arrest, not allowed to leave my home until the 10 days are up. This really stinks. It's only day 5, and I'm already bored out of my mind. But luckily, they did my home rebuilt. I'm not sure how they fixed it up in only a few days, but they've made it happen. It's as good as new, though because of this, I can't remember much of anything that has happened in the house. The girls named Kayla, Bianca, and Cree stay with me. Apparently I made a strong connection with Cree the first time I lost my memories. Hopefully I'll be able to make connections with all of them all over again. I just wish that I can train soon, because if I don't, I'll literally die of boredom..."

SOUL SOCIETY
Mariya's Perspective
"Oh my Lord...I'm going to die!" Mariya moans, walking through her halfway once again for probably the 300th time in a row.
She enters the media room, bored with it since day three of her house arrest. On the floor are multiple amounts of games and other types of technology, strewn all over as she had left it the few days before. For thirteen hours straight, she had played and finished all the games, from the wii's Mario Brothers, to the Kinect's Dance Central (for some reason she was REALLY GOOD at dancing). When the sun went down, Mariya called it a night, deciding that she was going to leave the stuff out so that she could pick it up the next day, which she felt to lazy to do.
She sits on the streched out comphy couch, and pics up the remote to the TV, pressing the power button.
Moments later, she finds herself moaning, realizing that it's only day five as the date pops up on the screen.
"This...isn't...fair..." Mariya mumbles, falling over to lay on the coach.
"What the heck?"
Her eyes open wide at the sound of Toshiro voice.
She sits up and whips her head around to see him blinking as he tries to take in the mess Mariya had made.
Her happiness rises greatly, smiling as she gets up.
"Toshiro!" Mariya yells, running over to hug him.
His eyes widen even more, blushing a bit.
She laughs as she looks up at him, still hugging him.
"Thank God you showed up, I thought I was going to die of boredom here." Mariya comments.
"I see. What exactly happened here?" Toshiro asks, gesturing at the mess.
"Well, I played all of them about two days ago." Mariya answers.
"Seriously? All of them?"
She nods.
"Yeah, and I cleaned pretty much every foot of this place except for this spot." Mariya says.
"Why's that?" Toshiro asks.
"Because I want to save it for the brink of madness. Though luckily, the nights are nice because that Cree chick and the two others are around.
"Kayla and Bianca, you mean?" he asks.
"Yeah, those two. They seem quite dittzy in a way."
"Trust me, they are. But they're good people."
"I can see that...." Mariya trails.
Toshiro blinks as Mariya's smile fades, letting go of him.
"What?" he asks.
"I wish I knew them."
His eyes widen at her comment.
"They're so kind to me, and they treat me as if I'm one of their close friends." Mariya continues.
"You are a close friend." Toshiro says.
"Am I?" she asks.
"What?" he asks.
She turns away, walking over to look out the window to see the clouding world outside.
"I only remember things that I experienced with you. Though yes, they're a lot of memories, it seems that I'm missing out on so much else that I saw in my life. I can't remember anything from the past few years, and I can't remember my before I met you..." Mariya explains, "I can't remember my parents...or even my life. I feel as if I have a one track mind now."
"Mariya..." Toshiro trails.
She chuckles bitter-sweetly.
"Heck, I can't even remember the other two's names. I've become a shell...I don't want to be a shell."
"I know that, and trust me when I say that we're doing everything we can to find out how to get your memory back." Toshiro replies, walking up to stand behind her.
She grins, and turns around to face him, but when she catches him in her eyes, she stops.
Unlike her, he's wearing his uniform, she just wearing a tank top and mid-thigh sleep shorts, a green flower design on them. His white hair is normally spiked, and fortunately his teal (or turquiose, she can't remember which color is which) are warm as he grins.
She feels a weird sensation in her chest.
...W-What the...
She looks down at the ground.
...What was that feeling?...I don't remember feeling that before now....what could it be?...
"Mariya?"
Her eyes widen, looking up to see Toshiro staring at her.
"W-What?" she asks.
"Is something wrong?" he asks.
She shakes her head.
"N-No, not at all." she replies.
He looks over her, hesitant, but sighs.
"Alright then. Well, I thought you'd like to see this, it's apparently your favorite anime or something." Toshiro says, handing her a DVD.
She blinks in surprise.
"A present?" she asks.
He looks over, trying not to look at her for some reason.
"Y-Yeah." he says.
Mariya grins as she takes the gift, turning it over to read the name of the anime.
"K-Kobato?" she asks.
He nods.
"Yeah, you told me a few weeks back that you were starting to take an interest in it, so I thought I'd get the anime for you to watch." he explains.
She blinks in surprise.
"Toshiro..." Mariya trails, before hugging him once more, "Thanks a lot."
He turns redder then before, though not to Mariya's knowledge.
"Y-Your welcome." he answers.
Without warning, they here people running through the door, taking them both by surprise.
"What the-" Mariya starts.
"Mariya! Where are you?!" the girl named Cree calls.
"I'm in here." Mariya calls back.
Within moment, Cree, and the two other girls round the corner and enter the room, panting.
"What's going on?" Toshiro asks.
"The-The bijuu...the-they're attacking." the girl who Mariya remembers as Bianca replies.
Toshiro's skin goes pale.
"Toshiro..." Mariya trails.
"Aneko is outside with the rest of the T.P. sercurity station making the barrier, she said the the Head Captain wants you and Rangiku to look after Mariya." the girl named Kayla says.
"Where's Rangiku now?" Toshiro asks.
"I sent Miyoko to go and get her. She should be here in a minute or two." Cree answers.
Toshiro nods.
"Alright." he says.
"We're going to go help in the defense station." Bianca says, before looking over at Mariya, "You stay in here where it's safe, alright?"
Mariya nods.
"O-Ok." she answers.
"We're counting on you to keep her safe Toshiro." Kayla says.
"She'll be fine." Toshiro responds, sounding confident enough.
Kayla nods and with that, the three disappear flashstepping out towards the battle field.
Mariya turns back towards the window.
...Bijuu, damn things...
"This is bad, I thought that they wouldn't attack for a while." Toshiro comments.
Mariya blinks.
"Well, we can't do anything about it but fight them-" Mariya starts.
"No, you can't fight remember? If you do, your spiritual presure will never be gained back and Mamori will be weaker." Toshiro interupts.
Mariya groans, remembering her plight.
"This isn't fair." Mariya says.
Toshiro sighs, and looks out the window, barely able to see the barrier that Mariya's squad created around her quarters.
And it's a good thing it's there.
"Mariya, get back!" Toshiro yells, pulling her from the window.
"W-What?!-" she starts.
Suddenly, a ball of light crashes into the barrier, causing enough shaking that the windows around them shatter, the impact of the violent winds following throwing them back, and onto the floor.
Somehow, Toshiro keeps his arms around her, taking the full amount of impact as he holds her to his chest, panting as he gets on his elbows.
Mariya blinks, now on the ground, and a bit dizzy. She looks up and immediately blushes, seeing Toshiro over her.
"Toshiro, are you alright?" Mariya asks.
He nods.
"Y-Yeah, just a bruise or two." he answers.
He falls silent as he sees blood appear on Mariya's cheek, little drops appearing by the second. Her eyes widen as he touches his right cheek, and pulls it away.
There's blood in his palm.
"You're bleeding!" Mariya says, sitting up as he does.
"Guess I must of been scratched by a shard of glass. Don't worry, it's not deep." Toshiro reassures her.
"It's deep enough that it's bleeding like that!" Mariya responds.
His eyes widen as she sighs, putting her hand up to hold his bloodied cheek.
Suddenly, he feels warmth. He looks over.
The orangish/yellow light.
He takes her wrist and stops her before she can start to heal him.
"What do you think you're doing?!" Toshiro asks.
"I'm trying to stop that oozing scratch before you loose any more blood!" Mariya answers.
"You can't! If you do, then your spiritual presure will weaken!" Toshiro says.
"But you're hurt.." Mariya trails.
His eyes widen.
"I don't like to see your blood. Makes me feel like I'm just putting you in harm's way by being around." Mariya confesses.
"Mariya..." he trails.
She hugs him once more.
"I don't care if my spiritual presure weakens, just hold still." Mariya whispers.
He becomes speechless as Mariya takes her hand back, and holds it back to his cheek.
Slowly, the same light appears, though somehow much stronger then before.
Before he knows it, the pain in his cheek seems to evaporate, even the blood dripping from his cheek seems to eventually disappear.
She sighs, taking her hand away to reveal the healed skin.
He blinks in surprise, watching as she stands, and walks over to the kitchen nook.
"Mariya..?" he trails, watching as she comes back to kneel beisde him.
His eyes widen, feeling the dampness of a rag touch his face.
"Though I did get most of it, there's still a good some of blood on your face." Mariya says, whiping his cheek, "So this should take care of the rest of it."
Blush seems to rise to his cheeks, this time noticed by Mariya.
"Toshiro?" she says, "Everything alright?"
"Y-Yeah, of course." Toshiro says, still red.
"Are you sure, your cheeks are turning red. Are you getting a fever or something?" she says as she goes to touch his forehead.
"I-I-I'm fine! Really." Toshiro answers, taking her hand before it can touch his head.
It's now that they both realize how close they are to one another, there faces only inches apart.
Now Mariya begins to blush.
...There's that feeling again...
Without warning, she feels herself proping herself a bit different, her face becoming hotter as she watches Toshiro slowly move his hand up to move her bangs out of the way of her right eye.
Their faces come even closer by the second, and she soon finds herself closing her eyes as she tilts her head, blushing more then before.
Toshiro's nose touches her...meaning he's getting closer too.
...What's about to happen...Toshiro?...
As they both hesitate, Toshiro suddenly wraps his arms around her, taking her by surprise as another of the high powered attacks sends them flying once again. Though this time, Toshiro hits the wall with a hard smack.
"Ack!" Toshiro grunts as they fall to the ground, Toshiro still protecting her as some more glass flies towards them.
Seeming to have life, the glass appears to fly right at him, scrapping right across his back. He grits his teeth, trying not to yell out in pain.
Though, Mariya can see it planely on his face as she looks up at him.
When the wind finally ceases, Mariya reaches around him to feel the damage to his back.
His haori is riped in about 6 different places, and when she lifts her hand, blood drips from her palm.
Her eyes widen.
...He's getting hurt...protecting me...
She gasps a bit as Toshiro raises up on his arms, snickering a little in pain.
"Toshiro..." Mariya trails.
He looks down at her.
"A-Are you alright?" he asks.
She just stares at him, taken back.
"Mariya?" he asks.
"Why do you keep protecting me?! All you're doing is getting yourself cut up for nothing!" Mariya says.
"I promised Cree and the others I'd protect you." Toshiro answers.
"Protecting me doesn't mean getting yourself into life threatening situations!" she comments.
He chuckles, irritating her a bit.
"In your case, it kinda does-" Toshiro starts.
Without warning, he cringes over, holding his shoulder.
"T-Toshiro! What's wrong?!" she asks.
"No way...they couldn't of-ACK!" Toshiro starts, before the pain returns.
"Couldn't of what?!" she repeats.
"Th-They used a type of B-Bakudo to put p-posion into the..attacks..." Toshiro trails.
Her eyes widen, and she immediately put her hands on his back, the glow increasing rapidly as she extends it the full length of his injuries.
Slowly, he seems to get better, his shouts becoming less painfilled and hard, and more spread apart, until it seems she's nutralized it to the point that it will no longer be a serious issue.
When the light from her palms disappears, she begins to pant, and realizes the situation.
...Damn it...by using healing...I broke the 10 day deal...it's getting harder to heal...for long amounts of time...
As she still breaths hard, Toshiro looks over at her, now laying on his back.
"So why? Why do you take the chance of becoming weaker to help me?" Toshiro asks.
She blinks in surprise, not expecting his question.
She grins, and leans over him, causing him to redden a bit as her face comes close to his.
"Because, I promised myself that I would protect you." Mariya answers.
Before Toshiro can respond, she kisses him on the cheek, blushing as she does.
When she raises, she laughs.
"Now, you rest a bit, that wound isn't fully healed, and there's still a small amount of the poison in your system." Mariya instructs.
She looks over at the broken windows, and her eyes narrow as she begins to take in their predicament.
With no warning, she turns back, and with grace, picks him up, putting him on her back. He blinks in surprise, not yet able to take in what just happened as she stands, and walks into the hall.
"Wh-What the heck are you-" Toshiro starts.
"We need to someplace that's safer in the house." Mariya says, looking around before finding the door she wants, "Ah-ha, perfect."
She opens the door, stairs on the other side.
Her quarters, at her request, were built with a basement, perfect stuff like this.
She quickly walks down the stairs, smiling as she sees the wide space that looks a lot like her bedroom's sitting area, though this room has a blue color scheme.
A lofty couch sits in the corner, and Mariya gently sits him down on it, trying to make him comfortable.
Know he's set, Mariya sits in the recliner beside the couch, and sighs as she leans back.
"Now what?" Toshiro asks.
She blinks.
"Huh?" Mariya asks.
"You should get out of here, you're not safe here."
She stands in shock.
"No! I can't leave!" Mariya answers.
"If they somehow break the barrier, I won't be able to protect you in my current condition. You need to get out of here and get to a different hiding location."
"But I can't just leave you-!"
"Once they realize you're not here, they'll leave, so I'll be perfectly fine." Toshiro interupts.
She bites at her upper lip.
...Damn it, I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place...If I leave, they could harm Toshiro...but if I stay, I could be found and killed...and if I try to go out and fight, I could loose a vast amount of Spiritual Presure....DAMN IT!...
