My name is Maddy and I'm the creator of the Blog on an Anime Artist. I live in a small town in Illinois which I have lived in my entire life. I known by my friends as being fun-loving and a little ditzy, depending on what exactly is happening. I guess I'm smart, and have many hobbies. My most well known would have to be drawing and writing, as you have already noticed. Since I was little, I've loved to write and draw, but it wasn't until I started watching anime that I really started to love it.
The first anime that I ever saw was Sailor Moon, a show about a 14 year-old girl who finds out she's a warrior called Sailor Moon, then later finds out she's the princess of the Moon. I watched it whenever I could and after the show ended, so did my interest in anime. But, then, in the summer before 8th grade, I was up late one night and began watching a movie called "Bleach; The DiamondDust Rebellion", which weirdly was about my now favorite character, Toshiro Hitsugaya. After discovering Bleach, I started to watch other Animes, such as Fullmetal Alchemist, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Naruto, Naruto Shippuden, InuYasha, Ah! My Goddess, and Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Soon after starting InuYasha, I started to create my own anime, the one that I write about in my blog. I wanted to place a different type of character in the Bleach world, and in trying to do that, I came up with the story of Mariya Yattamori. I also wanted to incorporate my favorite character from Bleach, Toshiro Hitsugaya, more into the story, so I placed Mariya into his past and made her Toshiro's best friend. And, to add more drama and more of a background story, I thought up the idea of Mariya dying, then later coming back, but as a reincarnation named Mariya Shecker, who didn't really remember a lot of things from her past life. Then, as the story continues, we see her face a enemy that has a unbelievable reason for wanting to kill her again, and along the way, knowing my love for romance, we see Toshiro and Mariya's relationship begin to change. I thought If I could, I would publish it, but unfortunately since it's based on and has characters from Bleach, it would be almost impossible to accomplish So, if this becomes successful, then I might be able to later turn this into another anime that might become as famous as Bleach. Though now that I'm 16, I seriously doubt it. LOL
