"...Walking around is so much fun when you've got nothing to worry about. The sun is brighter, the sky is bluer, and seeing how my pocket is full of cash, shopping is a definite must. And, it doesn't hurt that both Toshiro and my otherself are here too to enjoy this too. Why can't we take more breaks like this? I mean, it's nice to just have a day to just unwind, let your hair down, and take time to smell the roses, 'cause, in our world, in our situation, times like these are to come by..."

Toshiro's Perspective
Withiin seconds of the white light fading around the Madisons and him, Toshiro finds himself tripping his over his own feet as he's being pushed out of the mini senkaimon. Confused as he is, it's not a surprise that moments later he's landed on his butt in the brown grass of a field, Yattamori and Shecker laughing at him from behind. He turns and glares.
"Shut up." Toshiro says as he gets up, wiping his pants of grass and dirt.
"S-Sorry, it's just that you never do stuff that stupid!" Yattamori says, laughing.
"Well, it's not my fault, I've ever gone through that way before!" Toshiro yells.

Toshiro's Perspective

Confused as he is, it's not a surprise that moments later he's landed on his butt in the brown grass of a field, Yattamori and Shecker laughing at him from behind. He turns and glares.
"Shut up." Toshiro says as he gets up, wiping his pants of grass and dirt.
"S-Sorry, it's just that you never do stuff that stupid!" Yattamori says, laughing.
"Well, it's not my fault, I've ever gone through that way before!" Toshiro yells.
"Ok, ok, we'll stop." Shecker says as her laughter begins to subside.
For about another minute, the two laugh before quieting, tears falling from their faces from their extreme cackling.
"Ok, we're officailly done." Yattamori says as she wipes one of her eyes of tears.
"Great, now let's go." Toshiro says as he begins walk.
"Alright." Shecker says as the Madisons begin to follow.
For about 15 minutes, the trio walk, random conversations popping up along the way. Finally, Shecker spots something.
"Hey, there's some buildings beginning to pop up." Shecker says as she points at the nearing top of a building.
"Looks like we're almost there." Yattamori comments.
"Good, I want to begin shopping as soon as possible." Shecker says, smiling.
"God, you're such girls." Toshiro comments.
"We are girls." Both Shecker and Yattamori answer.
"I know. But you're being super girly right now." Toshiro explains.
"At least Rangiku isn't here." Shecker comments.
"Yeah, she would of made you carry her bags." Yattamori starts.
"Then make you lend her money when she ran out." Shecker finishes.
The two laugh as Toshiro think of it, both of them probably right on how the events would play.
"I swear, Rangiku is one of the laziest people I've ever met." Toshiro says.
"Some would say the same about you-" Yattamori starts.
"What's that's supposed to mean?!" Toshiro interupts, glaring at Yattamori.
"She means that all of us can be annoying at times, now c'mon before I leave you two behind." Shecker says as she pushes to two of the to a nearby road, a bus waiting.
When they get on, Toshiro and Shecker go ahead as Yattamori stops to pay the driver their fees, before quickly following behind. They choose a seating of three near the back of the bus, passing people of old age and those who looked about their age, though all three of them were actually closer to the age of the old age seniors. After about 10 minutes, one of the kids that look younger then them by about a year or two come up to them.
"Hey, are you new to this town?" a girl asks.
The girl has short, dark blonde/light brown hair, and big brown eyes. Her dress is light blue, a pink strip running down the side.
"Uh, we're just visiting the town, that's all." Yattamori says.
"Oh, really? That's too bad, I would loved to go to school with, white-haired boy." she says.
"How old do you think we are?" Toshiro asks.
"You're a grade schooler, right?" she asks.
"GRADE SCHOOLER!" Toshiro yells, getting all the bus goers' attention.
Both Shecker and Yattamori cover his mouth, trying to quiet him.
"Uh, actually, we're in high school. Toshiro is just short is all." Shecker says, irritating Toshiro further.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to anger him." the girl says.
"It's alright, you didn't know." Yattamori finishes.
"Fill wu weft wo of we?!" Toshiro says through the Madison's hands.
"What?" Yattamori asks, releasing her hand.
"I said will you let go of me?!" Toshiro says, his voice clearer now.
"Oh, sorry." Shecker says.
"So, are you two twins?" the girl asks, talking to the Madisons.
"Uh...yes, we are." Shecker says.
"I'm Madison and this is...um..." Yattamori says, leaning over to look at Shecker on the other side of Toshiro.
"Uh...Mizuki, I'm Mizuki." Shecker says, trying to think of a compelling name.
"Madison and Mizuki. I like your names." The girl says, before pointing at Toshiro, "And I'm guessing your name is Toshiro, right?"
"That's correct." Toshiro says, trying not to say something harsh.
"Oh, well, I'm Yuzu, nice to meet you." the girl says, holding out her hand to Shecker.
Shecker grins and takes hold of Yuzu's hand, shaking it nicely before releasing.
"So, where are you guys going?" Yuzu asks.
"None of your-" Toshiro starts.
"-We're going shopping downtown." Yattamori interrupts.
"Oh, sounds like fun." Yuzu comments.
"Where are you going?" Shecker asks.
"Oh, I'm going home. You see, I have to make dinner for tonight. My dad is horrible, Karin is as bad as him, and my brother, well, I don't know if he can cook or not." Yuzu explains.
"What about your mom? Can't she cook?" Yattamori asks.
Yuzu becomes silent.
"Yuzu...?" Shecker says.
"My mom...is dead..." Yuzu says quietly.
Toshiro watches as the Madisons look at each other with guilt, before looking back at her.
"I-I'm sorry. I had no idea-" Yattamori starts.
"I-It's ok. I mean, it was so long ago." Yuzu reassures them, before picking up a nearby grocery bag, "Well, this is my stop, goodbye Madison, Mizuki, and Toshiro."
She waits a moment before the doors open, then walks quietly out before the door shuts hard behind her. As the bus pulls away, the Madisons sigh.
"I feel like a complete jerk." Yattamori comments.
"Dido." Shecker agrees, slumping in her seat.
Toshiro sighs.
"It's not your fault. You two didn't know about her mother." Toshiro says.
"But still, I feel bad." Shecker says.
Toshiro feels himself beginning to become irritated.
"Will you two stop pouting?! Now cheer up and get ready to get off. Our stop is next." Toshiro says to the two, causing them to be stunned.
"O-Ok." Yattamori answers as Toshiro walks towards the door.
He rolls his eyes as he looks towards the passing buildings and stores. As he looks around, a quiet thought passes through his mind. One that hadn't gone by in a least 30 years.
...What happened to my mother?...

7:30 p.m.
Madison Yattamori's Perspective
"I love these boots!" Madison says as she holds up a flat, black-leather, knee-length boot.
"Yattamori, those boots are almost 62 hundred yen(80 dollars)!" Toshiro says, irritated.
"So, I think they're cute. Besides, it's not like I'm using your money."
"Yes you are. Remember, you ran out of money at the last department store."
"Hey, it's not my fault! Matsuzakaya has all the cutest clothes!"
"You're turning into Matsumoto!" Toshiro yells.
"I'll pay for her boots. Now both of you calm down." Shecker says, pushing Madison and Toshiro apart.
"Shecker, you don't have to pay. It's your money." Toshiro says.
"Yattamori and I are the same person, so it makes sense that I pay." Shecker answers.
"But-" Toshiro starts.
"No, buts, now come one, let's try on some of these clothes." Madison says as she takes both Shecker's and her stack of clothes, before pulling Shecker away by her wrist.
After a few minutes, Madison walks out of her dressing room, smiling big. She turns towards the mirror, finally seeing how the dress she picked looks. The dress is a dark green print sundress, lace trim lining about the last three inches down the dress. The print is one of roses, the dark green fabric making the flowers stand out beautifully. The same lace the trims the ends also ties around her waist, finishing the look. She turns towards Toshiro, who's sitting in a chair a few feet away.
"Well, how do I look?" she asks.
She tries not to laugh at his slightly red cheeks.
"Y-You look nice." Toshiro answers.
"Yattamori, I don't want to come out." Shecker says from inside her dressing room.
"What? Why not?" Madison asks.
"I don't think this dress looks right." Shecker answers.
"C'mon, it can't be that bad. Let me see." Madison says as she comes to stand in front of Shecker's door.
"I-I don't know-" Shecker starts.
"Shecker, get your butt out here." Madison interupts.
Madison hears Shecker sigh from the other side of the door as the lock makes a click, meaning she is coming out. As Shecker opens the door, Madison falls silent.
"Wha-What?" Shecker asks.
"Look in the mirror." Madison says quieter than before.
"What's wrong?" Shecker asks.
"Just look." Madison orders.
Shecker looks towards the the mirror and gasps slightly. Madison smiles as she gazes at Shecker's dress. The dark-purple dress is a one off-shoulder, beading running down into the empire-waist bodice, more of the same beading running through her waist. From there, the pleated skirt runs beautifully to half-way down her thigh, a sheer overskirt making it even more glamourous. A loose tight sleeve runs from the the off-shoulder, getting looser on the way down. And, for some reason, her hair-style looked great with it, making Madison wish that she had maybe shorter hair. Madison turns towards Toshiro, who's now blushing even more then before.
"Doesn't she look great?" Madison asks.
"Yeah..." Toshiro says, staring at Shecker, probably only half-hearing her.
"I-I don't know-" Shecker starts as she turns back towards Madison.
"What?! That dress looks perfect on you!" Madison snaps.
"It does look nice, but-" Shecker starts again.
"But nothing, you are buying that dress!" Madison yells.
Shecker smiles.
"A-Alright. I will." Shecker says, before turning towards Toshiro, "Now, it's your turn."
Toshiro begins to look alarmed.
"Wh-What?!" Toshiro says.
"You didn't think you were coming without trying something on, did you?" Shecker says, "Yattamori, get the secret stack."
Madison smiles.
"Got it!" Madison says as she runs towards her dressing room.
"What?! You can't make me try on clothes!" Toshiro yells.
Shecker takes hold of his arm as Madison walks back out with a large heap of clothes.
"Sorry dude, but you must of expected this." Shecker says as she forces him into a dressing room.
"Madison!" Toshiro yells as he turns back towards them.
Madison throws the large stack at him, causing him to forget them for a moment, trying to catch the incoming heap.
"There you go. We'll give you five minutes to get into your first outfit. Have fun!" Madison says as she shuts the door.
Before Toshiro can reopen the door, Madison and Shecker lean against the door, making it impossible for Toshiro to escape.
"You two are such jerks, you know that?!" Toshiro yells from the other side of the door.
"We've realized, now get dressed!" Shecker says.
Toshiro grunts for a minute or two before they finally hear him beginning to undress. Five minutes later, Toshiro knocks.
"I'm dressed, now let me out." Toshiro says, irritation in his voice.
"Alright." Madison says as she opens the door.
Toshiro steps out and turns towards the mirror. His shirt is a simple black, long sleeved t-shirt. Two chains hanging across the top of the shirt, making it look cooler. For pants, he wears dark wash jeans, a few holes in them, one on the right knee, making him look more rebel.
"I like it." Madison says.
"Are you sure it doesn't make him look too rebellious?" Shecker asks.
"But he is rebellious." Madison comments.
"True-" Shecker starts.
"You know, I can hear you, right?!" Toshiro snaps.
"Sorry." both Madison and Shecker say.
"Now, go in and try on something else." Shecker says as she pushes him back towards the dressing room.
"No, you've already seen me in something-" Toshiro starts.
"-Too late." Madison interupts as she slams the door, before giving Shecker a high-five.
After about another hour of abusing Toshiro with clothing, the trio finally make it to the cash register.
"That will be a total of 61,496 yen (800 dollars)." the cashier says.
Shecker's and Toshiro's jaws drop as Madison opens both their wallets and seven 10,000 yen bills, smiling as she does so. People standing around them stare in ah as the three take their bags and walk out.
"How on earth do we still have money?" Shecker ask as she opens her wallet, still seeing about 10 more 10,000 yen bills, and more.
"Because, like smart people, we save our money." Madison says.
"Then how come you ran out?" Toshiro asks.
"Because I only had about 10,000 yen in the first place." Madison answers.
"So, who's hungry?" Shecker asks, trying to change the subject.
"I am." Madison says.
"I am too. Let's try to find a place to eat." Toshiro says as he begins to look around.
"Hey, that place looks good." Madison says, pointing to a big building across the street.
Shecker and Toshiro follow her finger to the building. A small line is out front of the eatery. They look close to see the name.
"Kanki Seitou(Traditional Delight), huh." Toshiro says.
"That place looks expensive." Shecker says.
"Who said it is?" Madison asks.
"The people walking in and out are wearing cocktail dresses and suits." Shecker answers.
"So, then we'll have to wear our new dresses." Madison says.
"Are you crazy! We just bought them!" Shecker yells.
"So, why not try them out." Madison says, before pulling them into a nearby store, "And Toshiro can wear that cute new jacket we got him, now come on."
15 minutes later, Madison finds herself walking into the Kanki Seitou with Shecker and Toshiro following close behind. Luckily, Madison had bought more then one dress. The one she is wearing now is a sleeveless teen-made, cocktail dress. The top is a light blue satin, the skirt the same color muted by a brown, sheer, over skirt that has gold beading working down to the bottom of the dress, which only reaches the middle of her thighs. And around her waist is a brown sash, looking as if it ties in the back. Gold heels, a gold chunky bracelet, and her choker/necklace completed the look, her hair covering her ears, not needing earrings.
Shecker wears the dress from the last they went to, match with silver flats, a chunky silver bracelet, an arm band on the upper part of the sleeveless arm, her cross necklace, and simple chandelier earrings complete her look. Her hair is more groomed, a diamond barrette in her hair. While Toshiro wears designer dark-wash jeans picked out by her, a simple, dark gray, long-sleeved shirt picked out by Shecker, under a black, Calvin Klein original jacket picked out by her, matched by black chucks picked out by Toshiro, and a small, silver tie, picked by Shecker.
"Table for three, please." Madison says.
The man looks at her for a minute, before looking down at his spread sheet.
"Right this way, Ma'am." the man says as he begins walk away, menus in his hand.
Madison, Shecker, and Toshiro follow him for a minute until they get to a table right next to a large window over looking the busy streets below, a piano playing nearby. The waiter quickly sits them and gives them their menus.
"Your server will be with you shortly." the man says, before walking off.
"Wow, I didn't think that he would let us right in." Shecker says.
"I know, I thought we would have to wait a hour, at least." Toshiro agrees.
"But, we did get in, that's all that matters. And, from the look of these prices, we should be able to afford a appetizer, a full meal, and dessert. So, stop worrying, and enjoy this." Madison says pointing at menu she holds in her hand.
Toshiro and Shecker look at each other for a minute, before smiling.
"Alright, I think I can do that." Toshiro says.
Madison smiles. She happy that they could come tonight, cause, in truth, this would be the last luxury either Shecker or herself would ever experience.
